True, was a great cross.

I also saw him pass the ball straight into a Cardiff player around fifty times, though.

That was Mata.

Fucking Ashley Young. He's been dreadful all game, and then he goes and scores.

Bollocks, he was man of the match, retained possession well and put in the cross for the first goal.

So we're selling Fabio to Cardiff and keeping Buttner.

What the fuck.

Buttner is not good enough, but really puts a shift in. Fabio doesn't even do that anymore.

A lot of rumours suggesting that Dante may have been 'the mole' in the Bayern dressing room, hence his sudden bizarre willingness to get his agent touting him around.

Think of it like the equivalent of Dortmund signing Ji and sending him out on loan for the rest of the season, except Augsburg probably had a 'loan-to-buy' agreement that was still valid, and that was cheaper than the asking price to Dortmund.

So we're halfway through January, and whilst Anderson leaving is a plus, our squad has essentially just been made even lighter in midfield. The way the papers were talking, you'd have thought we'd have Fabio Coentrao in a United shirt by 9am on January 1st.

Fulham have had a bid for Ravel Morrison rejected by West Ham.

Was it Alan Curbishley or Ray Wilkins that suggested Fulham go after a divisional rival's best young first-team player? I can't imagine Rene going in for such a stupid transfer without at least one of them supporting it.

The more high-profile players come out, the more youngsters will be able to come out in confidence. Good on Hitzlsperger, and shame on Alex, now at PSG, who is apparently homophobic on religious grounds according to a documentary in France that he's been interviewed for.

Did anyone catch the one-hour premiere? The first episode was understandably plot-driven, but the second episode was pretty decent. Looks pretty encouraging, seems to have got something about it again.

Can people stop saying that he's inherited a poor squad of players? We've got plenty of top-class players, and we also had a whole fucking transfer window to improve on the squad. If they weren't good enough, he should have made the decision to rip the squad to shreds, just as he did to the backroom staff.

We've diving, we're pathetic, we're slow, we're boring, we're not even one-dimensional because that implies we have a game plan, we are a bizarre mix of long ball, kick and rush and doing multiple dummies over a stationary ball only to give it to the opposition. We look like a lot of things, but we don't look like Manchester United right now.

Maybe we could get rid of Anderson as part of the deal. That said, we're so short in the midfield, we might as well keep him.

Not necessarily, but if we were to splash out in the summer, we might end up blocking their chances when they return. Besides, Lingard in pre-season looked ready for the first team.
