Always check your cuts on a dark background. They all still have plenty of snow around their head and some has leftovers of the background left, which can be seen on a black background. You should always include at least a few pixels of collar in the cuts. If the neck is long you can move the collar so it's visible and there's a guide to do that in the guide thread.

I would say they are not acceptable. They are actually very bad to be honest, but ultimately it's mon's decision to make, although I don't think it's any different. I'd recommend you reading the guide thread and doing some cuts there to get some help with cutting. Extra help is never a bad thing, but in my opinion some quality standards have to be maintained.

Clear cache > close game > delete all 3 folders that came with the skin > do a fresh install of the skin. It's probably some complication with some files.

Don't overwrite the existing skin. Always remove the existing skin folders before copying the new ones in.

The beta works together with the 1.7 small side panel and DF11 too. Just download the 1.7, then add the 15.2 fix and then replace the Scorpio folder with the beta. If you already have it running you can then just replace the Scorpio folder with the Scorpio beta folder.

This might be a silly question, but are you sure you have it in the right folder? It should be the same folder where the game was installed. And then your folder structure should be Football Manager 2015/data/facegen/hair and inside that hair folder you should have the default afro, asian, euro, hispanic and mixed_race folders, which you can overwrite with the default upgrades that were provided in the OP. You should also have a custom folder (name doesn't matter) there and inside that custom folder you should have afro, asian, euro, hispanic and mixed_race folders, which are the ones you downloaded.
And make sure you haven't set them to FM14 folder by accident for example. Although none of this should be a problem if you have had it working before the patch. It just sounds very strange that it doesn't work after a patch in game.
