And if the EU-USA free-trade pact is signed, there won't be any import duties or taxes anyway.

Players these days are, in my view, overprivileged twats who act like crying children when things don't know their way. The style of refereeing needs to change if we still want football based on the Laws of the Game, not based on who was roll around like a pathetic little cunt the most. I'd love to see stricter officiating, and video technology to assist refereeing, not usurping their role as morons like Platini et al claim they will.

Also important to note that the media has played a big influence in refereeing. Nowadays, every Premier League game is being broadcast live somewhere in the world, with a multi-camera setup Add to that high-definition, slow-motion cameras. Broadcasters can pick up on incidents during games that refs won't be able to, and analyse them to death, upstaging the ref and making them look stupid/error-prone, when it's impossible for them to be perfect. That said you do get some genuinely shit referees.

I'd argue that, on the whole, false claims of many other crimes have a worse impact. How many people falsely accuse someone of rape, which leads to prosecution/police involvement? Probably not that many. How many people are falsely accused of burglary, theft, fraud, perjury, etc, just to try and damage their reputation? Thousands, every day. I know someone whose career was effectively ruined by false claims of theft/fraud at work (was an Argos manager), he was investigated both internally and by the police. He was vindicated but it ruined his reputation and no-one trusted him/

Remember of course that when these rapes allegedly happened, male homosexuality wasn't even legal - or at least was only just being legalised. It was a completely different society, with different ideas about this sort of thing. I couldn't imagine the pain of being sexually abused and never realising any sense of justice, especially if the culprit goes onto lead a successful life.

I'm not a particular fan of someone being the 'forum idiot', it seems pointless and most people here have said more stupid things in the past than this Dortmund fan.

I've got Rudi Voller as my director of football at Arsenal, he's alright. Good at selling my fringe players who I can't be arsed selling.

I find it hilarious the lengths some will go to defend a footballer who plays for their side. It's really odd; yeah you don't need to like the players personally, but you don't need to defend them against everything they do wrong.

I don't mind Tarantino, but I think everyone of his movies could be substantially cut down and revised. They're usually too long. The first scenes I'd cut completely would be any featuring himself...

Update: just sold Arshavin to Southampton for £900k. Was relatively quiet in the January transfer window, didn't buy anyone. Looking to the summer to get one or two big names.

This is what I'm currently playing:

Sczesney

Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Monreal

Artet, Diaby/Wilshere/Ramsay

Cazorla/Ox-Chamb, Lewandowksi, Arshavin/Tello

Giroud

Arshavin's being an arsehole and isn't renewing his contract, and Walcott and Podolski have been absolute cunt-bandits for me, never playing well and have requested transfers. Offloaded Walcott to Fulham for £10m, so I'm looking for a permanent replacement for Arshavin.

Had to ring the police a couple of times today. A family of drug-addicted alcoholic cunts tried stealing from the shop again. A cop came down to give us a crime reference number and a copy of the camera footage. They've been banned from the shop but I guarantee that they'll be back in the shop sooner or later, nicking stuff.

Cheers for the help! I might try find a season-long replacement for Fabianksi if there's some cheap enough. I tried for Subotic but I couldn't offer him a contract that was acceptable for him. The bastard.

Yeah, fully patched, just got it off Steam as spur of the moment payday decision. I'm pretty much trying to readjust to the game, I haven't played it for about three years now. I had already dumped Gervinho onto the transfer list, he's pretty useless. I could only get £2m for Arshavin so might keep him as backup.

Thanks for the suggestions, to be honest I want to overhaul the team completely within three seasons. How does the Polish goalkeeper whose name I won't attempt to spell do over time, or is he replaceable?

I'm too lazy to play games so I watch the gameplay commentaries. I'm a cheapskate but oh well. It's quite noticeable how some YouTube channels slant their biases in either direction though.

I'm going to throw myself into the middle-ground and say that there's a balance between nature and nurture. I'm on the fence on this issue. I know people with very docile dogs that are supposed to be vicious, but then again, you never know, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned one day. I've got a lhasa apso and she's aggressive towards intruders, but other than that she's as potent as QPR's title chances.

I don't understand the attraction of a lot of games. Especially first-person shooters. Medal of Honor: Warfighter must be one of the worst games ever made.

I don't get the name 'Supports Interactive'. It's a mouthful to say and I didn't realise it was even a forum, I thought it was some kind of open source version of Football Manager.
