Honeslty surprised at how cheaply goals are being given away in the Championship nowadays. First one for Huddersfield looked offside to me anyway, but keeper beaten at the near post shouldn't be happening. Brighton's goal was an actual meltdown in Huddersfield defence. Wells' goal was quite unlucky given the assist came from a deflection but the third goal again, Stockdale (who was sheet all night tbh) with an absoulte stinker. Taking nothing away from Huddersfield of course, they play some cracking football and fully deserved their win tonight, but deary me some of the defending on show (especially on Brighton's side) was quite dramatic.

Mental game vs the Posh yesterday. After going down 1-0 very early (much to the delight of the Peterborough hooligan crew who were very quick to throw taunting songs at us), James Vaughan legit scored four (FOUR!!!!!) goals inside 20 minutes and literally made their defences look like schoolboys playing Pokemon Go or something. Absolute murder. The corner flag took some right beating there. George Miller scored our fifth but in reality, they should have conceded 23 just for being shit all afternoon and being arrogant fekkers.

Joyous scenes for us Bury supporters however. Smiles all around, the little kids almost dabbing themselves into concussion. Glorious

Only signed one player? Pfff. We broke the bank and signed THREE players at once today! (Well two of them on loan, but anyway)

First one is Taylor Moore, 19 years old, defender who joins on loan from Bristol City. Quite chuffed about this. England international, got senior experience in two countries already and by all accounts Bristol's fans seem to rate him, so good signing probably.

Second is Reece Brown. Had him last season but Flickers let him go and he joined Sheffield United. Couldn't get a game for them, trained with us for a few days and he's back now. Not the kind of signing i was hoping for but I take that.

Third is Cameron Burgess. Defende,r on loan from Fulham. Scottish born but plays for Australialand. Oldham fans seem to rate him quite highly, so that will do me.

If we weren't playing bloody Scunny away I'd be half confident we could snatch a point or so

The Non-League Jesus Navas. Great pace but that's it. Good player to bring off the bench but massively surprised he got a move to L1 as he wasn't even a regular for us.

Looked alright today given it was his first game in a proper crap side. Certainly has some pace and got some ability at least. Put in a good cross or two but didn't look like he's going to tear sheet up in this division it has to be said.

Oh and we lost again, WA-HEEEEEY

Pros an cons of 0-0 boxing day draws at Highbury.

Pros:
- we've stopped our 743 game losing run

cons:
- we still had more winding up orders than points in the last couple of months
- our injury list is still ginormous
- so is our suspended list
- we still don't have a manager (oh wait, we've given our shite assitant the role full time so scrap that)
- we are possibly still fekkin shite (cannot judge as I'm not going anymore)
- still on our way to visit Morecambe and Accy Stan in League Two next season anyway

Well, reportedly we've been looking through 70 CV's for our managerial post and "nobody fit the bill". This pretty much means that either a.) we've got no money to spend on a half decent manager, b.) nobody with half a brain wants to get anywhere near our club at the recent stage or c.) our chairman talks shite.

Either way, the above means that we're giving our caretaker "managers" (term to be used lightly) Chris Brass and Ryan Kidd some more time. Amazing how productive we've been during our two week break!

Wow, Bury really hate going to Wimbledon. That's 10 conceded against them now?

Massive improvement today however because we scored one goal today!!!!!!! Actually even 13 in 3 games of add in the away match we played at Wimbledon in L2 2014/15 lolz.

To summarize the game: WHAT THE ACTUAL FEKKING FEKK??? Absolutely furious and sigusted having to watch that. How the hell is it even possible to concede three fekking goals in three minutes?? Like literally, if you don't have a spontanious chromosome outburst on the pitch and put three or four at least half decent passes together you should be keeping a clean sheet for anohter two minutes. But no, our professional footballers can't even do that. Antony Kay, Leon Barnett, Tom Soares, you name them, they all fekked it up. It was brutal. 14 goals in the last three league games is unacceptable.

However, there are positives to take from this, as it seems very unlikely our caretakers should even be near the job. Absolutely crucial to get the right man now. We're on a fekking slide to Narnia at this rate!

And thank fucking fuck for that!

After yesterday's SHAMBOLIC 5-0 defeat at Wimbledon we'd have been the first team to play its home games in front of away supporters only if he were to stay. We've been absolutely woeful the last couple of weeks and Flicker's stubborness, naivety and his sheer quality at falling out with his players were his downfall. Depsite all the recent troubles, let's not forget about all the good things during his tenure. Remember, we were on our way to the conference when he arrived, and got us promoted last season. Tranmere away one of the best days if not the best day I've ever had as a Bury supporter. Our cup run last season also brought us the great games at Rochdale and Bratfud which will long in my memory. However, it's the right call, and I'm glad our chairman made it. Be best for both parties.

Leaves us with the big question: WHO NEXT?

Well, some interesting names available. I personally do think someone like Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink would do well here, or someone like Russell Slade as our clubs would tick all of the boxes he excels in (small budget, low fan base, etc). As always, due to him being a local boy the name NEVILLE (Phil in this case) is being thown in. According to SkyBet his odds crashed down from 30/1 to 3/1 in no time. For now it's Ryan Kidd and Chris Brass in charge, so why not give them some support in the meantime eh?

Westfields or Curzon Ashton v Bury or AFC Wimbledon

Which will be televised, no matter the outcome.

Makes Tuesday's replay at Wimbledon just the tiny bit more interesting. Could be doom or gloom this. Win, and you get money for reaching the 2nd round, money for the televised fixture in the 2nd round and having a reasonable chance of going beyond that and draw a really big fish in round 3.

All academic if we lose of course (which is the likely scenario)

Did anyone just watch the Southport - Fleetwood game on BT tonight? Lucky you if you haven't. It was brutal. Jimmy Ryan took a terrific free kick and Devante Cole had a dangerous 1 vs 1 for Fleetwood.but both well saved by the goalie. Apart from that, highlights included a neon sign on the chippy's roof, which displayed "YELLOWS" every minute with some flashy images inbetween, a smoke bomb and a flare thrown onto the pitch within the space of 20 seconds, and the linesman having to be subbed off in the first half. Still not buy him being "injured", the fekker just couldn't be arsed probably.

Makes you wonder why the draw has fekked you over so hard when you have to watch stuff like that

Quite a few of us have had the privilege of seeing Peter Clarke turn out for our clubs. Always honest, always whole-hearted, always fair.

Agree with that. Peter has been a great servant for Bury FC last season and a very nice guy off the pitch as he is a true warrior on the pitch.

As for Calvin Andrew. Absolute scum. But then again, look at the club he plays for now and that tells you a lot. Just the sheer fact that the Dales are criticising Peter Clarke for "provoking" Andrew into elbowing him and complaining about the length of the ban is ridiculous. Deserves every minute of his ban does Andrew

2-0 to Bolton I see, two pennies. You'd have got into the play offs with a win, but still only three points off.

Bit hard to win a derby match playing against 12 men to be honest. Possibly going into 200% terriersmad mode right now but the absolute dog shagger spoilt it last night. Not saying, he was at fault because we were fekkin shite yesterday but if you give away soft penalties like the first one yesterday (still refuse that is supposed to be a pen anyway) in a heated derby game then goodbye. Still, we were tragic yesterday, couldn't keep possession for our lives and were just really sheet in general. Flitcroft destroying his Septermber record yet again, which brings up memories from last season all over.

Tomorrow is the big day everyone in this town has been waiting for. The big one. Notlob come to Bury for a Monday night clash for the first league match between our two sides in 17 years. I wasn't into football at that time so my first proper derby, so really, really looking forward to this.

Since this is a monday night game on Sky and all ticket bs, Gigg Lane sadly won't be sold out but still, Bury will be vibrating tomorrow!

Managerial casuality numero uno in League One, as Tony Mowbray resigns from the club. Not a surprise, as they are doing pretty shit with a side that shouldn't be anywhere near bottom of the league,

However, problem goes beyond that. I read somewhere else that SISU have sold (or are selling?) the training facilities for under value to build new houses and are looking to sell the academy aswell. They also banned local press from all press conferences, so fuck knows that's going on there but things are looking grim

Won 3-1 at MK Dons yesterday, a place where we haven't won in a gazzilion years. Really should not have won that, but I'll take playing bad and winning over playing well and losing.

Scored with our first chance in the game. James Vaughan scoring again, after their Defender absolutely fucked it up at the back and JV with a really nice strike to finish the Job (and the corner flag afterwards). MK then really came firing at us then. Lost count of how many times they hit the post or Ben Williams had to make a great save to deny them. However, we did gift them a goal after some catastrophic defending yet again (probably not aided by the fact we had to play three midfielders in our defence). Responded well though. Hit them on the Counter well, with James Vaughan scoring his second goal of the night, think his shot got deflected but haven't seen it yet, defo caught the keeper out. Third goal came in stoppage time with Zeli Ismail walking the ball in the back of the net after the keeper was upfront for a corner.

Looking good at the moment. Game on saturday vs Scunny shaping up as the clash between 2nd in the table and top of the table. Who'd have thought that at the start of the season?

http://fs5.directupload.net/images/160925/k5xn4hia.jpg

Obviously, not getting carried away at all right now but isn't it great to just enjoy the moment once in a while? Overcame a tough battle vs Chesterfield today. First twenty minutes were good, then it was a really scrappy game. We didn't play well (Danny Mayor being out didn't really help matters much) and Chesterfield looked pretty toothless, so it became a pretty even match, with us nicking another late goal again to get the three points. Keep the run up lads!

The one that got away.

2-1 win at Swindon today. Game of two halves really. Started the game with only 1 nominal centre back as Leon Barnett and Nathan Cameron all face lengthy spells out. so was getting pretty worried at this point. First half was pretty good though, started off bright and went 1-0 up through Hallam Hope. Then Swindon looked like they equalized but after lenghty discussions the goal wasn't given. Didn't know what was going on at first and looking at Sky's footage it was a close call but I do think Delfouneso was onside, so we got lucky there. Even luckier wh nHallam Hope made it 2-0 just before half time. Second half they were all over us and we looked like we're going to fall short. Swindon made it 1-2 around the hour mark (keeper should have done better) and I was fearing the worst but luckily enough, we managed to hold on and take the three points.

Up to third now. But got a difficult game coming up in Chesterfield. Strangely enough, this season reminds me of last season. Starting off bright, then collapsing around christmas. Hope we can cut out the collapsing bit this time around though

Beat Shrewsbury 2-1. James Vaughan didn't score today, but managed to get himself sent off, so always action when he is around. Pretty nasty game this. Loads of needle between the teams, trying to wind themselves up, lots of handbags thrown around, two sending offs aswell. Two goals from Danny Mayor, one beauty and one just before stoppage time were enough to seal the deal. Looking alright so far....

Vaughan scoring again, @gfnx25 ! What will go first, his form or his fitness?

Actually, scored twice, so make that 3 in 2 League One games. Flitcroft already cannot hear the haters anymore!!

Seriously, his link up play with Tom Pope is so good. He brings the best out of TP and vice versa. Last year we had Clarke, who didn't link up at all and basically lived off the chances our midfield created. Refreshing change of scenery. If he stays fit, he can do damage to anyone in this division (Big if though)

Good 4-1 win over Port Vale today anyway. Played 4-4-2 with the mentioned two upfront and looked very sharp from the beginning. Conditions were slightly horrendous, to put it mildly, first goal was a bit fortunate as one of their players attempted to basss the ball back and got stuck in a puddle, which Tom Pope gladly picked up and squared for Vaughan. Second goal was decent strike from Mellis, which was his first goal since new year's day 2014 by the way. James Vaughan added a third around the half hour mark. Second half, we didn't take the foot off the gas and kept on pushng. Some poor defending for their goal but still, kept on pushing and Hallam Hope made it 4-1 late on.

Cannot fault that. First half we were terrific and did well in the second half to keep pressing them and not go ultra defensive and shit it, like Walsall the other week. Valiants not really happy with the weather and that the game wasn't called off. Only thing I'll say about this is, that it's the same pitch for both so if they went forward they could've forced the same errors we did from them today, if they had actually bothered to go forward that is. Not our fault their French and Portuguese journeymen couldn't handle the conditions at La Stade de Gigg.
