Going by the league table alone, it's great to see Huddersfield getting hammered but my thoughts go out to Hogg and hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Cheers @Obtuse.

This was another one I had been looking at from Argos but again, I'm not hundred percent.

It's more expensive than a hard disk drive for the space you're getting but it makes everything so much faster really.

I've also been taking a little nosey at this one as well.

No I don't think so - how important is SSD for FM?

Sorry to bump an old thread but I was eventually contemplating getting this before Football Manager 2018 comes out? How well will it run with all the facepacks, logos, kits etc and with a few leagues running & is the price "too good to be true"? I think the price is quite the steal.

The current laptop I have isn't the quickest for FM (half a star ffs with usually one league loaded) and runs quite slow.

They had another one which was £459 (16GB, 1TB) but I missed out on it.

Yes I'm well aware it's Windows 8, should I be looking for a Windows 10 or it doesn't matter too much?

Following the end of my career "Building a Nation: Northern Ireland" due to my old laptop packing in I decided to take a well deserved break from Football Manager 2017 but I've decided (after a week away) to return and begin a brand new career which'll hopefully see me over until Football Manager 2018 is released in around October/November. As my hours have been cut in work, I'll be doing the updates on a month to month basis.

Rangers Football Club: Bringing European Success To Ibrox

For the first time since Football Manager 2015 (I believe) I've decided to try and have a long-term career with the Scottish side Rangers in an attempt to not just make them a dominate force in Scottish Football but the main point is to try and get them to win the UEFA Champions League or even the Europa League, which although I'm well aware will be tough, but I've done it previously.

The last time I managed Rangers I done the "impossible" and guided the Ibrox outfit from not just the bottom playable tier of Scottish Football but to 10 consecutive Scottish Premiership crowns.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xQX7d6RrMfX2qzDNwpxo2PNDU0wNDX7gX0fZkpwA.jpg

I've decided to load up eight leagues but the Brazilian, English, French, German, Greek, Portuguese and Spanish leagues are on "view-only" so I can keep an eye on how teams are doing in the respective leagues. The only playable league is the Scottish divisions from League Two to the Premiership but I've no interest in departing Rangers and the career will end if I get sacked.

Once again I'll be playing as "Shedender" a twenty nine year old up and coming manager who will be looking to make it big at the Glasgow giants. I've got Bangor as my favourite football club while I am Northern Irish and born in Dundonald. I've got no coaching badges thus far and have a past playing experience of a Sunday League Footballer, hence why my stats are rubbish.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/C4xdiSK9RxG5IK2nU3j8VC3XJIH5POfuxc1Q3bF7.jpg

Here's the current club information screen and the pressure's on me from the get go as the Gers board are predicting the club to finish in second position which isn't going to be easy. The club have excellent training facilities and great youth facilities as well. They play their home games at the 50,817 all-seater Ibrox Stadium and they're a professional club.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/tqhZWoNRl2HnjzdoRVOfbm0S86D0z03Cdc0zqFwS.jpg

And the last piece of information is that I've already agreed to go on my first coaching course since becoming Rangers manager and I'm looking to secure my National C Licence which has cost six hundred pounds to spend and will take approx. four months of study to complete it.

Surreal ending. Fair fucks to Barcelona for turning that around after a shocking first leg performance.

Dortmund's also turned their game around tonight (granted they were only a goal behind) as they beat Benfica 4-0 at home.

They said the back-to-back trips to Brighton and Huddersfield could've been a "stumbling block", we've won both games. Excellent stuff.

Can we make it a "hat trick" on Tuesday night and get maximum points @ Reading?

Why did you bother to go to that game? Surely it was never going to be a contest and a simple Ulster win yeah?

Already had the ticket sorted a week or so previously so ideally felt I 'needed' to go. It finished 19-7 in Ulster's favor but it was a dreadful game in dreadful conditions.

I'll be in Australia this time 2 weeks.

Can't wait!! Have a few things booked when there, like rugby league and football match, will be class to catch up with my family and mates.

Also the weather is going to be nice and sunny, so that's a plus!!

Have fun pal.

So I decided to head to the Ulster/Treviso match tonight and wish I didn't. I'm pissing drenched.

The main question needs to be @Dan; are you still enjoying the save or are you becoming bored due to recent success? I would like to see you make an entire English (or even British) side and see if you can continue to dominate domestically and potentially in Europe as well.

Our first ever Champions League Final will see us go up against German giants FC Bayern Munich. It'll be a tough encounter for sure, however we haven't lost to the red side in Germany in the past four head to heads in which we've faced them.

And with that bit said, I'll be expecting Champions League success now. Good luck in the final.

Blackburn sacked Coyle? Well can guarantee @BR. is currently doing cartwheels - just annoying the prick guided Blackburn to two victories against us.

As for last night, we were pretty woeful up until we scored in the first half, second half was a hell of a lot better (well, it couldn't have been any worse) and pleased that little prick Lansbury scored an own goal to secure Newcastle's three points. Back top but we need to ensure victory against Bristol City as we then face a hat trick of away trips to Brighton, Huddersfield and Reading ffs.

Sutton or Arsenal vs. Lincoln then in the quarters.

Oh my, how I would love Sutton to dump Arsenal out tomorrow and then one non-league side will be guaranteed in the semi final. Won't happen though.
