Liverpool eased into the fourth round of the League Cup after easing past Championship side Bolton 2-0 at Anfield
In a game which saw the Liverpool manager fail/forget to make any substitutions, goals from Danny Ings in the eleven minute and the Premier League side were struggling to finish the game off before Lazar Markovic added goal number two with eighteen minutes remaining.
Despite starting the Championship season well, Bolton were abject at Anfield and failed to have a single attempt on target from seven.
Liverpool however weren't much better and the changes made perhaps didn't help matters even though it was still a strong enough squad and it got the job done. Liverpool had twenty one attempts on goal but only five on target which although wasn't good enough, Michael Owen is perhaps just pleased to have progressed.
The deadlock was broken after eleven minutes when Danny Ings scored on his first appearance of the season, getting on the end of a Nathaniel Clyne ball after the full back was picked out by Philippe Coutinho and then the passage was confirmed on seventy two minutes when an Alberto Moreno cross was headed home at the back post by Lazar Markovic.
The draw for the fourth round is on Saturday.
Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Matip, Lovern, Moreno, Can, Milner, Markovic, Firmino, Coutinho, Ings
Subs not used: Donnarumma, Sakho, Henderson, Sturridge, Ziyech, Ibe, Smith
Goals: Danny Ings (11), Lazar Markovic (72)
Bolton Wanderers: Allsop, Wilson, Osede, Wheater, Pisano, Davies, Spearing (Holding 56), Walker, Clayton (Thomas 45), Hall (Wassi 45), Clough
Subs not used: Amos, Trotter, McLean, Finney
Man of the Match: Nathaniel Clyne 9.0

MATCH PREVIEW: Liverpool v Bolton Wanderers
19 September 2016 | Football
Date: Tuesday, 20 September 2016
Venue: Anfield, Liverpool
Competition: League Cup third round
Kickoff: 19:45 GMT
Liverpool are expected to make five changes for this third round League Cup tie against Bolton Wanderers with Nathaniel Clyne returning from suspension in place of Jon Flanagan who played decently in Liverpool's 1-0 win at Queens Park Rangers last time out. Lazar Markovic, Danny Ings, Simon Mignolet and James Milner are all expected to start as well in place of Hakim Ziyech, Daniel Sturridge, Gianluici Donnarumma and Jordan Henderson
The early Championship overachievers Bolton will be without the quartet of Darren Pratley (gashed leg), Dorian Dervite (damaged cruciate ligaments) and Josh Vela and Gary Madine (both sports hernia) for this trip to Anfield.
Squads:
Liverpool squad: Mignolet, Donnarumma, Lovern, Sakho, Matip, Can, Clyne Smith, Moreno, Markovic, Milner, Lucas, Ibe, Coutinho, Firmino, Ziyech, Sturridge, Balotelli
Bolton Wanderers squad: Amos, Alisop, Wassi, Holding, Wheater, Finney, Osede, Pisano, Wilson, Spearing, Hall, Walker, Davies, Trotter, Clayton, Clough, Thomas
Last season:
Liverpool and Bolton Wanderers didn't face each other last season
Danger men:
Liverpool will be expecting their attackers to do the damage against Championship side Bolton so the pressure is on Lazar Markovic, Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and the former Burnley striker Danny Ings who will be getting his first start of the campaign under Michael Owen
Bolton Wanderers will be hoping highly rated striker Zach Clough can do the damage against the Premier League side in this League Cup third round tie but the twenty one year old striker has only scored two goals in the league this season from eight games, he's still expected to be a nusiense to the 'pool back four

Roberto Firmino's first goal of the season gave Liverpool deserved maximum points against Queens Park Rangers
The Brazilian international struck after sixty four minutes in West London when his club and country team mate Philippe Coutinho picked him out with a pass, Firminio took one touch before belting the ball past Alex Smithies in the R's goal.
Liverpool dominated the game and would be disappointed not to have scored more from their fourteen attempts on target.
It was another frustrating game for Liverpool's hit man Daniel Sturridge who has now failed to score in four consecutive games - three in the league and one in the League Cup - but it's believed his manager will be keeping faith with the England international.
Even though he wasn't named Man of the Match, Queens Park Rangers' shot stopper Alex Smithies had an excellent game in between the sticks as his heroics kept the score down to one, along with some wayward Liverpool finishing and when it's only 1-0, QPR still had a chance and perhaps could've scored from at least one of their four attempts on target.
Queens Park Rangers: Smithies, Perch (Clarke 74), Onuoha, Caulker, Suk-Young, Phillips, Sandro (Faurlin 64), Luongo, Chery, Mackie (Emmanuel-Thomas 74), Polter
Subs not used: Green, Tozser, Hall, Hoilett
Liverpool: Donnarumma, Flanagan, Matip, Lovern, Moreno, Can, Henderson, Ziyech (Markovic 61), Firmino, Coutinho, Sturridge (Origi 61)
Subs not used: Mignolet, Sakho, Lucas, Ibe, Smith
Yellow cards: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Jon Flanagan
Goals: Roberto Firmino (64)

MATCH PREVIEW: Queens Park Rangers v Liverpool
16 September 2016 | Football
Date: Saturday, 17 September 2016
Venue: Loftus Road, London
Competition: Premier League
Kickoff: 15:00 GMT
Queens Park Rangers will be without Simon Frances (broken ankle) and Benik Afobe (hernia) for their Premier League game against Liverpool while Sheyi Ojo is ineligable against his parent club
Nathaniel Clyne is suspended and is expected to be replaced by Jon Flanagan while Liverpool are expect to make three other changes - Joel Matip, Emre Can and Hamik Ziyech coming in for Mamadou Sakho, Joe Allen and Adam Lallana while Daniel Sturridge will attempt to get back on the scoring trail.
Squads:
Queens Park Rangers squad: Green, Smithies, Onuoha, Clarke, Perch, Caulker, Hall, Suk-Young, Faurlin, Sandro, Luongo, Phillips, Chery, Emmanuel-Thoomas, Hoilett, Mackie, Polter, Washington
Liverpool squad: Mignolet, Donnarumma, Flanagan, Lovern, Sakho, Matip, Can, Smith, Moreno, Markovic, Lucas, Henderson, Ibe, Coutinho, Firmino, Ziyech, Origi, Sturridge
Last season:
There was no fixtures between the two sides last season.
Danger men:
Once again Liverpool fans will be hoping Roberto Firmino can score his first goal of the season as it's been a slow start for the Brazilian international while a role change for Daniel Sturridge should see him scoring again as he hasn't scored in three competitive games. Yet again the Liverpool support are hoping midfielders Emre Can and Jordan Henderson can pick a pass while Alberto Moreno will bomb up the left wing.
Queens Park Rangers meanwhile will be hoping their German striker Sebastian Polter can continue his decent start to the campaign as he's scored two goals in four games for Rangers this season while his strike partner Jamie Mackie has yet to net. The Rangers support will be hoping Matt Phillips can use his pace to get in behind the Liverpool back four.

LIVERPOOL 2-2 ARSENAL: Owen 'extremely frustrated' to see two goal lead slip
11 September 2016 | Football
Michael Owen couldn't hide his frustration as he saw his Liverpool side lose a two goal lead to draw 2-2 at home to reigning Premier League champions Arsenal
Liverpool were seemingly in control as goals from winger Philippe Coutinho and central midfielder Joe Allen had the Reds two goals to the good inside the opening twenty minutes at Anfield but the visitors quickly pulled a goal back and Liverpool struggled to get an all important third goal.
Alexis Sanchez equalised with nine minutes remain to earn Arsenal a deserved draw.
"I simply cannot hide my extreme frustration at only getting a point against the champions" Owen told Liverpool's official website "when you're two goals up, especially at home, you hope you can hold on but alas we couldn't and that's the one thing that's disappointed me about this game.
Credit though must go to (Rafa's) Arsenal though, they pulled a goal back within minutes which was crucial and then when you struggle to get a third goal, it's always got potential to bite you in the behind.
When Arsenal equalised through Alexis with nine minutes to go, I was more concerned with not losing the game.
We now have back-to-back away games against Queens Park Rangers and West Bromwich Albion and it's important we bounce back to winning ways as soon as possible."

Premier League champions Arsenal came from two goals down to salvage a draw against Liverpool at Anfield as both clubs maintained their unbeaten starts to the league season
But it will be Liverpool manager Michael Owen who'll be left the most frustrated as he saw his side squander a 2-0 lead given to them courtesy of goals from Philippe Coutinho and Joe Allen but they just couldn't find a cruical third goal as the visitors struck back as Per Mertesacker and Alexis Sanchez found the net.
Philippe Coutinho broke the deadlock at Anfield when he slammed the ball past Petr Cech after being picked out by an excellent Daniel Sturridge pass and then four minutes later Joe Allen doubled Liverpool's lead when he found the net after Alberto Moreno's shot was failed to be cleared. Arsenal pulled a goal back four minutes later, Per Mertesacker heading home at the back post, getting on the end of a Mesut Ozil free kick.
When picked out by Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez scored a world class goal to level the scores.
It was an entertaining game on Merseyside with champions Arsenal perhaps doing enough to secure maximum points as they had ten attempts on target to Liverpool's six but a point against the champions is an improvement compared to last season when the Gunners done the double over the Reds. It was the first time Gianluigi Donnarumma has conceded goals in his short career.
Liverpool: Donnarumma, Clyne, Sakho (Matip 61), Lovern, Moreno, Allen, Henderson, Firmino, Lallana (Ibe 66), Coutinho, Sturridge (Origi 85)
Subs not used: Mignolet, Lucas, Markovic, Smith
Yellow cards: Nathaniel Clyne
Goals: Philippe Coutinho (13), Joe Allen (17)
Arsenal: Cech, Jonny (Bellerin 66), Meresacker, Koscielny, Bernat, Ramsey, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlin (Luan 61), Ozil, Sanchez, Icardi (Giroud 81)
Subs not used: Szczensy, Coquelin, Paulista, Fred

MATCH PREVIEW: Liverpool v Arsenal
9 September 2016 | Football
Date: Saturday, 10 September 2016
Venue: Anfield, Liverpool
Competition: Premier League
Kickoff: 17:30 GMT
It's believed Liverpool will name an unchanged side from that one that thumped Newcastle 4-0 for what's their third consecutive home Premier League game.
Arsenal will be without Theo Walcott as the England international suffered a broken foot and is expected to be out for up to four months but Jack Wilshere (twisted ankle) isn't one hundred percent and more than likely won't be risked at Anfield.
Squads:
Liverpool squad: Mignolet, Donnarumma, Lovern, Sakho, Matip, Clyne, Smith, Moreno, Markovic, Lucas, Henderson, Allen, Lallana, Ibe, Coutinho, Firmino, Origi, Sturridge
Arsenal squad: Cech, Szczesny, Jonny, Koscienlny, Mertesacker, Paulista, Bellerin, Bernat, Fred, Ramsey, Coquelin, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlin, Ozil, Luan, Sanchez, Giroud, Icardi
Last season:
Defending Premier League champions Arsenal done the double over Liverpool last season and deservedly won both games. It finished two goals to one at Anfield as the Gunners had a two nil lead at half time through goals from Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey - Christian Benteke pulled a goal back just after the hour mark but Liverpool couldn't get level.
The reverse fixture at the Emirates was an entertaining one as four goals were scored inside the opening twelve minutes - Santi Cazorla gave Arsenal the lead on three minutes but goals from Christian Benteke and Philippe Coutinho had turned the game around inside the opening ten minutes. It wasn't enough though as just two minutes later Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin equalised and then Theo Walcott won it for Arsenal a minute before half time.
Danger men:
After hitting a brace against Newcastle in his last game, the Arsenal defence will need to watch out for Philippe Coutinho who has enough pace to get behind the Arsenal central defender while Daniel Sturridge will be looking to find the net again after failing to net versus Newcastle.
Arsenal will be relying on Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez' experience if they'll to pick up maximum points in tomorrow's evening kick off. It's unknown whether the Arsenal manager Rafa Benitez will go with Mauro Icardi or the more experienced Olivier Giroud.

Liverpool's Michael Owen named Manager of the Month for August
1 September 2016 Football
Michael Owen has been named the Premier League's Manager of the Month for August
The Liverpool manager has overseen a perfect start to the campaign as his new charges have won their opening three league games without conceding a single goal and also eased past last seasons runners-up Manchester City at Anfield during the month.
The other two wins this month came against Leicester at King Power 2-0 and they also beat Newcastle 4-0 at home.
"It's always nice to be named Manager of the Month" Owen told BBC Sport "but it's remarkable to be named it in your very first competitive month in management.
"I'm incredibly humble and couldn't predict the start to the season we would've had, I mean I could only have dreamt of beating someone the calibre of Manchester City with such ease and that's me undermining Liverpool's ability, especially at home, because I know they're capable.
"As much as I'd love this run of winning games and not conceding continue for a long time, I need to be realistic."
Liverpool have a tough month coming up in September so they'll do well to maintain their one hundred percent record - they begin the month at home to Arsenal before having back-to-back trips to Queens Park Rangers and West Bromwich Albion after the international break.

Liverpool brushed aside Newcastle to continue their perfect start to the Premier League season
The hosts dominated a lacklustre Newcastle side and had sixteen attempts on target compared to the visitors three and it should've been more than the four that were scored at Anfield as Adam Lallana struck in between a Philippe Countino brace while Divock Origi added the fourth and final Liverpool goal with twenty minutes of the second half played.
And it took Liverpool only seven minutes to break through when Adam Lallana's cross was placed into the back of the net by Philippe Coutinho past the helpless Tim Krul - Lallana made it two nil on sixteen minutes when a Coutinho corner eventually found the England international to double the lead.
Goal three and Coutinho's second of the afternoon came after twenty one minutes from a Daniel Sturridge cross as his cross was nodded down by Jordan Henderson and Coutinho found the net for the second time this afternoon. Divock Origi added the hosts' fourth goal when he got on the end of Nathaniel Clyne's cross from close range.
Daniel Sturridge picked up an injury but Liverpool fans will be glad to hear it's only a bruised rib.
Liverpool have yet to concede a goal in competitive football this season (2-0 vs. Leicester, 3-0 vs. Manchester City, 2-0 vs. Bradford and now 4-0 vs. Newcastle) and this success came due to them keeping the two Magpies wingers Moussa Sissoko and Georginio Wijnaldum quiet throughout as both had a poor game, but they weren't the only Newcastle players to perform poorly.
Liverpool: Donnarumma, Clyne, Sakho, Lovern, Moreno, Allen, Henderson, Firmino, Lallana (Markovic 72), Coutinho, Sturridge (Origi 55)
Subs not used: Mignolet, Matip, Lucas, Ibe, Smith
Yellow cards: Nathaniel Clyne, Jordan Henderson
Goals: Philippe Coutinho (7 + 21), Adam Lallana (16), Divock Origi (65)

Competition: Premier League
Kickoff: 15:00 GMT
Gianluigi Donnarumma, Mamadou Sakho, Adam Lallana, Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge are all expected to return to the Liverpool starting line up for this home league game against Newcastle after being rested for the midweek League Cup tie against Bradford although Sturridge did come off the bench. Emre Can is being rested with Joe Allen coming in to replace the German international.
Jonjo Shelvey (sprained ankle) is Newcastle's only expected absentee while Fabricio Coloccini (cold) is expected to make a full recovery. Brandon Mechele could make debut if he's registered in time while Aleksandar Mitrovic is expected to be dropped.
Squads:
Liverpool squad: Mignolet, Donnarumma, Lovern, Sakho, Matip, Clyne, Smith, Moreno, Markovic, Lucas, Henderson, Allen, Lallana, Ibe, Coutinho, Firmino, Origi, Sturridge
Newcastle United squad: Krul, Edison, Janmaat, Mbemba, Ramalho, Haidara, Brooks, Strinic, Anita, Pasalic, Thauvin, Saivet, Townsend, Wijnaldum, Cabella, Sissoko, Bolanos, Austin
Last season:
When the two sides met at Anfield last season, Liverpool won the game two goals to one. Daniel Sturridge hit a brace inside the opening quarter of an hour but it wasn't an entertaining game and Ayoze Perez halved the deficit with twenty five minutes remaining but Liverpool held on.
The return game at St. James' Park was a little different as an entertaining game ended in a one one scoreline but the Magpies perhaps deserved to win the game overall. Daniel Sturridge had broke the deadlock with ten minutes of the first half remaining, Daryl Janmaat equalised on seventy one minutes.
Danger men
In form striker Daniel Sturridge has made a solid start to the campaign as he's hit doubles in his first two Premier League games and struck three times against Newcastle last season. In an attempt to get scoring this season, Roberto Firmino will begin on the wing while Jordan Henderson can pick a pass and should be brimming with confidence after his brace in midweek.
Both of Newcastle's wingers Moussa Sissoko and Georginio Wijnaldum are quality players and will be expecting to assist the front two although the latter only scored two goals and made eight assists last campaign while Sissoko bagged eleven times in the Premier League and made six assists, he seems the most dangerous.

Liverpool are through to the third round of the League Cup after a straight forward victory at home to League One's Bradford
Central midfielder Jordan Henderson hit a first half brace against the Bantams and he broke the deadlock after only eight minutes when he fired home from outside the penalty area, slamming the ball home when Emre Can had played a short pass to him - his second goal was similar, again netting from outside the area.
When the score was 1-0, Bradford were reduced to ten men when central midfielder James Weir was sent off after receiving two yellow cards.
Much to the surprise of no one, Liverpool dominated the entire contest against an average League One side and could've easily scored more than the two first half goals but poor finishing denied him hitting three or four goals. The Premier League side had nine attempts on target and twenty nine attempts overall while Bradford could only muster five attempts with one on target.
League Two's Cheltenham Town shocked Championship side Sunderland at Stadium of Light, winning on penalties, Newcastle also crashed out on penalties at home to Championship side Derby County and Southampton also got eliminated on spot kicks at home to League One's Walsall.
Liverpool will face Bolton Wanderers in the League Cup third round, Liverpool are the home team and the tie is due to be played on Wednesday, September 21st with a 19:45 GMT kickoff.

Liverpool manager Michael Owen will make five changes for this League Cup second round tie against League One's Bradford City with Simon Mignolet, Joel Matip, Jordan Ibe, Lazar Markovic and Divock Origi all expected to start at Anfield in place of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Mamadou Sakho, Adam Lallana, Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge.
League One's Bradford will be without centre back Nathan Clarke, right back Tony McMahon, striker Nathan Delfouneso and midfielder Billy Knott for their trip to Merseyside but they'll still be targeting a massive upset against the Premier League giants.
Squads:
Liverpool squad: Mignolet, Donnarumma, Lovern, Sakho, Matip, Can, Clyne, Smith, Moreno, Markovic, Lucas, Henderson, Lallana, Ibe, Coutinho, Firmino, Origi, Sturridge
Bradford City squad: Williams, Cracknell, Darby, Angus, McArdle, Ekstrand, Leigh, Morris, Meredith, Smith, Garner, Morals, Weir, Anderson, Davies, Ranegie, Hanson
Last season:
There was no meetings last season between the sides.
Danger men
Yet to score this season, Liverpool will be once again be expecting Roberto Firmino to pull the strings behind the lone striker while they're hoping Jordan Ibe's pace can get in behind the Bantams back line while Emre Can and Jordan Henderson can pick out a pass in the centre of the park.
Bradford City will be hoping for big things from their winger Paul Anderson who was once on the books of Liverpool but didn't make a single Premier League appearance for them while they'll be hoping Steven Davies can find a goal or two on Merseyside but he's yet to score in League One this season. Bradford will be relying on their back four to keep Liverpool quiet.

Owen expected to make changes against Bradford City in League Cup
22 August 2016 | Football
Michael Owen is expected to rest players ahead of the League Cup clash at home to Bradford City but as indicated that he won't disrespect the League One side.
It's been a dream start for Owen, 36, who has seen his Liverpool side not just win their opening two Premier League games against Leicester and Manchester City but also keeping a clean sheet in both games as well.
"I've got zero intention to disrespect our opposition in this League Cup second round tie" Owen told Radio City "but after playing just three days ago, and having another tough Premier League game against Newcastle at the weekend I feel changes are a must.
"Of course I won't be changing the entire team because that would be complete disrespect to Bradford.
Bradford City meanwhile, currently managed by John Carver, are down in fourteenth position in League One after four games with their only win in the league so far coming against Burton Albion, 3-1 at Valley Parade. They lost in the league last time out, going down one goal to nil away to Rochdale.
The Bantams advanced in the League Cup after beating Cambridge two one at Abbey Stadium in the first round.

Daniel Sturridge's second double in as many games helped Liverpool to a convincing 3-0 win over last season runners-up Manchester City at Anfield.
The in-form striker, who only scored four games for Liverpool last season broke the deadlock on the stroke of half time when a Jordan Henderson shot was only parried into the patch of Sturridge who scored against his former employers while his second goal was route one football - a long punt down field from Emre Can found the striker who fired home from all of twenty five yards past the hapless Joe Hart.
Philippe Coutinho added Liverpool's third goal when he found the net after a Nathaniel Clyne cross.
It was an excellent all-over Liverpool performance who limited Manchester City to only four attempts on target throughout while the hosts had eight shots on target and a change in the tactic setup seemed to help Liverpool in this game, they were being dominated but a change to counter helped and when Daniel Sturridge broke the deadlock, Liverpool didn't look back. Gianluigi Donnarumma has now kept consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League, not bad for a seventeen year old who had never played a senior game before.
Raheem Sterling was given a 21 minute run-out against his former club and it was frosty reception when he came on for Samir Nasri but the game was already won at that stage and Sterling had little to no impact on the game whatsoever, much to the delight of the Liverpool supporters inside the ground and watching around the world.
Arsenal's title defence continued to stutter as they were held to a second consecutive draw, this time being held at home by Watford while Leicester City had to come from behind twice to secure maximum points at Queens Park Rangers, an own goal ten minutes from time giving the Foxes maximum points.
Liverpool: Donnarumma, Clyne, Sakho, Lovern (Matip 88), Moreno, Can, Henderson, Lallana (Ibe 56), Firmino (Brannagan 67), Coutinho, Sturridge

MATCH PREVIEW: Liverpool v Manchester City
19 August 2016 | Football
Date: Saturday, 20 August 2016
Venue: Anfield, Liverpool
Competition: Premier League
Kickoff: 12:45 GMT
Liverpool will make one change from the side that beat Leicester 2-0 on the opening day as Emre Can returns from international duty in were he represented the Germany U23's side at the Olympics in which they made a quarter final exit, he'll replace Joe Allen (food poisoning) who won't be risked for this big lunch time kick off.
Manchester City, who beat Newcastle 2-0 on the opening day, have no injury or suspension concerns and are expected to name an unnamed side.
Squads:
Liverpool squad: Mignolet, Donnarumma, Lovern, Sakho, Matip, Can, Clyne, Smith, Moreno, Lucas, Henderson, Lallana, Ibe, Coutinho, Firmino, Brannagan, Sturridge, Benteke
Manchester City squad: Hart, Butland, Denayer, Otamendi, Kompany, Toure, Zabaleta, Ghoulam, Kolarov, Widmer, Fernandinho, Sterling, Silva, Nasri, De Bruyne, Darida, Augero
Last season:
Liverpool failed to beat runners-up Manchester City last season, drawing the home game at Anfield two apiece despite the Citizian's having Aleksandar Kolarov dismissed after only seventeen minutes. Christian Benteke and Emre Can scored the Liverpool goals while David Silva and Samir Nasri struck for the visitors.
One thing Liverpool managed to do last season was not let Sergio Aguero score against them as Manchester City won the reverse fixture at the Etihad 3-1, Christian Benteke scoring Liverpool's goal on twenty one minutes - but they were already two goals behind at that stage as Samir Nasri and Aleksandar Kolorov had scored and then Yaya Toure sealed City's win with nineteen minutes left.
Danger men:
Last season runners-up Manchester City will need to watch last seasons top goal scorer Roberto Firmino as he'll be a danger to City's back line while Daniel Sturridge, who had a dismal season last time out (4 goals in 18 appearances) is expected to lead the attack. Liverpool have danger all over the park with both full backs expected to bomb up the wings while Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho could also fire in assists/goals as well.
With twenty goals in the Premier League last season, Liverpool will need to watch out for Sergio Augero even though the Argentine international didn't score against the Reds last season. Kevin De Bruyne and Samir Nasri are going to be dangers on the wing and Raheem Sterling, if he comes off the bench, will want to make an impact against his former employers. Yaya Toure can score thunderbolts so it's important the Liverpool defence and midfield nullify that threat.
