#314272 Gendo, We're Coming For You - A Dan & Shedender BSC Succession Save
Shedender
Arguably this is the worst performance Berwick have had since we began this save, unacceptable and somehow we only lost the game by two goals to one but it should have been much worse. Darren Lavery (who else?) bagged our goal and also had a second strike chalked off in the first forty five minutes.

We've been drawn away to Highland League side Nairn County in the Scottish Cup third round - I would like to think we could progress to the next round but after our performances against Threave Rovers and Buckie Thistle in last seasons competition (even though we eventually won both ties), this cup tie is a potential bananaskin.

Michael McKenna's eighth minute goal has given us a 1-0 win against Forfar at Station Park.

Poor enough result at home to Peterhead.

I'm speechless, I really am. Morton started the afternoon as the unbeaten leaders, intent on making an immediate return to the Championship but against all the odds, we found ourselves 6-0 up thanks to a treble from Allan Smith, an own goal, David Morris and Darren Lavery. Unbelievable scoreline.

Just our fourth win of the season and it came against League Two champions Elgin City at our home venue but we had to come from behind to get maximum points. Darren Lavery continued to find the net under 'Dean Ashton's' regime by bagging another double and his seventh and eighth league goal this season.

We've signed a two year contract extension at Berwick Rangers, delighted to stay at the club.

Cheers man, I was stunned at the comeback! Didn't expect to come from 3-1 behind, especially after conceding so early in the second leg. Really thought our chance had gone and we'd still be a League Two club this season, it's nice to be proven wrong.
Remember him from last season when I had him on loan? I decided to make Michael Selfridge's move permanent in the summer as I was impressed with how he performed in the centre of defence. He made twenty six appearances last season without scoring a goal - he's only twenty years old so still has time to improve as a player.
Our second signing of the summer, Martin McNiff is a left back who'll be an excellent rotation with our current left back. He previously agreed a pre-contract and has signed from Annan Athletic in which he made thirty appearances last season, scoring once.
Just seventeen years old, Ross King has signed on a free transfer from Championship side Rangers.
And the last signing has seen central midfielder Bryan Hodge join the club after agreeing the switch from his previous employers Forfar Athletic, the twenty eight year old midfielder has experience at League One and Championship level in Scotland while a little experience in the English Football League. He will probably be a starter.

Blimey! Did anyone see this comeback happening? We have been promoted to League One after beating Stenhousemuir 6-2 in the second leg (and 7-5 on aggregate) of the relegation/promotion playoff. Jon Robertson gave Stenny a first minute lead but goals from David Banjo, Darren Lavery and Finn Graham saw us roar back to level the scores on aggregate.
The game changed (or so I thought) when Josh McArthur was sent off ten minutes from half time for a second yellow but further goals from Dale Fulton, Darren Lavery and David Banjo saw the ten men end going six goals to one up on the night, Lukas Culjak pulled one more back for the visitors but I wasn't going to allow them to mess this up.
Dan, when you next take over, we'll be a League One club.

Got a feeling we're going to be remaining a League Two side next season following this defeat away to Stenhousemuir and thus the pressure is on us in the return leg. Michael McKenna's goal in what is more than likely his penultimate game for the club gave us a glimmer of hope but Stenny's class showed in the first period especially.

Cheers Fola - it's always a nice change having a succession game.
Completely battered in the second leg but somehow we kept a clean sheet and Finn Graham's goal in the first leg was enough to send us through to the final and we'll face Stenhousemuir of League One over two legs in the relegation/promotion playoff. It's going to be tough.
#314029 Gendo, We're Coming For You - A Dan & Shedender BSC Succession Save
Shedender
Yes, I'm pleased enough with a second place finish in the league.
Finn Graham's goal on the stroke of half time means we've the advantage in the relegation/promotion playoff after this single goal victory at Galabank - it's now important we can finish the job in the second leg to get to the relegation/promotion final against either Queens Park or Stenhousemuir - the League One side has the advantage after the first leg win at Hampden Park.
#314017 Gendo, We're Coming For You - A Dan & Shedender BSC Succession Save
Shedender
Cheers man! I'd love to see us end up winning the league title against the odds but doesn't seem it'll happen.
A poor enough result to end the league season but a playoff spot was secured regardless of what happened as Darren Lavery (who else?) gave us the lead at Links Park but a goal early in the second period rescued a point for a Montrose side who'll finish the season in sixth place. Elgin beat struggling Abroath one goal to nil on the final day to secure the league title, regardless of what happened at Links.

We were forced to come from behind to beat East Fife at home by two goals to one as goals from Finn Graham and Darren Lavery cancelled out Craig Murray's opening strike. Elgin City won by a single goal to nil away to East Stirlingshire, which means the league will go down to the final day of the season, somehow.

Another excellent afternoon has seen us win by two goals to nil at Gayfield against Arbroath thanks to goals from Dale Fulton from a penalty spot and Finn Graham with the latter (along with a few others) potentially leaving the club in the summer as they don't want to re-sign...yet. Elgin drew for the third game running, they're cracking under the pressure.

Just like my win earlier in the season against this lot, a Clyde red card changed the game as we won 4-1 at home. Darren Lavery bagged a sensational treble against The Bully Wee as his prolific season continued - to make the afternoon better, leaders Elgin could only draw 0-0 at basement boys Stirling Albion.
#314002 Gendo, We're Coming For You - A Dan & Shedender BSC Succession Save

Cheers Rick.
Poor enough defeat away to East Stirlingshire which has potentially ended any chance we've had in winning the League Two title this season, even though Elgin could only manage a point at home to Annan. We played reasonably well but just didn't have an end product - seems a repetitive theme this season.

Now that's a superb win at home to Stirling, much needed. Think that's our biggest win of the season to date?

And that's my stint done and dusted and after an iffy start I've guided the club to an eight game unbeaten run while we've also progressed to the fourth round of the Scottish Cup in which we'll (well, Dan) face Premiership side Aberdeen in which I expect us to get slaughtered against the top flight side but I hope I'm wrong.
I'm uploading for you now Dan.
Oh and I almost missed out the important news . . .
"Dean Ashton" will be going on his first coaching course, he's attempting to get his National C License. It'll take approx. 4 months (probably more 6) and it'll cost the football club six hundred pounds which the football club will be covering for the said course in question. It's needed.

It's now eight games unbeaten after this hard fought since goal win at Hampden Park against amateurs Queens Park. Once again, a poor game.
#313896 Gendo, We're Coming For You - A Dan & Shedender BSC Succession Save

Poor result against second bottom East Stirlingshire, needing a Darren Lavery goal sixteen minutes from time to salvage a point. Unbeaten run continues. We were second best at Ochilview Park in Stenhousemuir and perhaps were lucky to head up with a point. Seven unbeaten now.

Just glad it isn't at home as I doubt we would've gotten that much £££ from gate receipts. It's up to you to see us progress, ha!
What's this all about? A fourth consecutive win saw us beat Elgin City 2-0 as we've now stretched our unbeaten run to six games. Poor game like.

Superb win at Gayfield against Arbroath, David Banjo and Darren Lavery getting on the scoreboard. Four games unbeaten? What the . . .
