Must be a way because if anyone thinks the 3D engine is good then fair play to them. No realism for me, 3D stadiums that don’t look anything like their real life counterparts and robotic on the field players.

Stadium pics in the background like the old days are far better

never heard of that or experienced it. have you tried deleting the game and redownloading it? might be worth a try. failing that, id report it on the bugs forum on the fm forums.
besides which, why are you still playing 15? just upgrade to 16!

Anyone experienced this? After about 30 mins the game completely freezes my laptop to the point in which nothing responds (cursor arrow, key strokes). It only does it for this game/application or else id think it was a problem with the laptop.

It seems to do it more in the match day area or tactics screen if that is any help

Does anyone know or how to edit a skin that makes it feel more like the older version of footy manager so the scores on matchday go across the screen instead of vertical. I've included examples of what i mean

The first one (hull) is what i.m after and what i mean

The second one (vertical example) is how it is with FM2015 (ignore the box around the badges)

Hi,

Apologies if this doesnt go in here but because it is FM2015 not 16 i thought people might not look at the 2015 section anymore, i am considering buying it but i'm still into 15 yet

Anyway my question is i would like the widget and panels to be a lot lighter during screens and especially match days so i can see the backgrounds and stadium backgrounds. I tried following this guide:

but it didn't make any difference. I use the Steklo_x5 skin. I used the resource manager as stated and paint.net

Any ideas of if anyone can help me if i send the correct files?

You just need to replace two folders within the skin folder. It will never be 100% but the stadium pic is easily visible as shown in the screenshot compared to the screenshots posted in this thread

Do you mean Pre Match Screens?....you need to provide screen shots of the screen you mean if you would like me to help.

He means when using commentary only and split screen it will show the stadium pics in the background on Match Day like the old championship manager days before the fall out. It's still for me and probably others a better experience that seeing 2d and 3d figures running about. Much better playing Bayern away in the champions league semi final and seeing their ground in the background

I'm Fulham at the moment and I must admit the board are pretty generous so far, so might ask for a new ground considering Craven Cottage only holds about 25,000 which isn't really going to hack in considering I'm in Europe now. They've increased the wage budget and expanded the ground in the last two seasons so we'll see.
