We want the collar. We also want it to be within 2-3 pixels of the chin, which means the collar needs to be nudged upwards if it isn't.
It's explained in the guidelines. It's also explained in the above post, which includes pictures and videos by way of explanation.
I would've hoped all that would have been clear enough…

@renskay, we want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:
At the same time, we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.
Here's a video of the process on how to nudge the collar upwards:

No idea, I must have deleted the right one by mistake 🤦 Yours is clearly superior.
#882603 Abdi Sabriye

Not your fault. @DDDNikolaj should've known better than to request it just 2 days after his own previous request of the same source had been cut.
#882602 André Radija

I've moved it to the right timeline 🍻

You have to install the fix again from scratch.

I'm not sure about this, and I haven't had much time to investigate it yet, and suspect I won't be able to for a while 😢
Can I have screenshots of how the folders shown in the main post look like in your system? And also the main db\2620 folder?

No worries. I think I've moved the sources round to the right timeline now.
I'm sure you understand that when we have 3k+ pending images, I'd prefer if cutters focused their efforts on sources which are more needed than ones which have been cut quite recently.

I think it was explained to @Cipier elsewhere. They've had cuts produced quite recently, so there's no need for them to be cut again.

New version of the fix is now out. As always, it needs to be reinstalled from scratch.

Gotcha.
Given the current cut for this player is just a few weeks old, there's no need for it to be requested again. If you want to cut it yourself, of course it'll be taken into consideration however, naturally.

We prefer cuts which have at least half the face looking at the camera.

Yeah, looks like it.

You really need to give us a bit more information than that if you expect us to help you 😕

Good source, but no newer than the current megapack cut…

I don't think it's an improvement.

Good spot. Will add it for the next update pack 🍻
#882140 Tilda Sandén

I think he can't because he's got the maximum pending packs already.
What I would suggest @f egerer does is that these sources are ideal to cut. Why don't you consider giving it a go yourself instead of depending on others to do it? You'd get to see them in your game much more quickly this way 😉
This thread contains guidelines for what we're looking for in our cuts in terms of dimensions, snow, collars, face orientation etc. and video tutorials for each element.
I would recommend using remove.bg, which is a free online tool which removes the background to an excellent standard, for free and almost instantly.
Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons.
If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

@halvard352, adding to what @Lebohang Mokoena said elsewhere:
a) this cut has a fair bit of snow. Snow is the colour from the background of the cut which was not totally removed. It is often white (hence ‘snow’) but it can be other colours. It can often be easily removed by putting the cut through remove.bg.
Here's a video on how you can easily remove any remaining snow thereafter within Photoshop:
b) Brightening darker images like this one always looks better in-game. The easiest way is to go to this tab in Photoshop:
and tweak the brightness slider.
There is also a Photoshop action file, available for download here, which contains a lot of common actions, including one for brightening, for ease of use 😉

Try and crop a bit closer to the chin @dpeter 😉

Yes, and I would suggest you download the image and save it in a different sub-folder and config file than the main megapack. Make sure that the config is tied to the same UID as it is in your save game, since it might be different to 2002044445.
#881850 Franz-Georg Wieland
mons
@Kloppoholic, for future reference, when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time.
You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead of just a maximum of 3 when done individually.
#881849 Mark Engel
mons
The image with the UID on this timeline is NOT included in the megapack, because it is not in the default database but added with the data update and therefore not fixed. The other UID is in the megapack, because it is a fixed UID.
Depending on the combination of editor data files that you have, the UID of the created person might differ and that might be a reason for it.

Can you give me a screenshot please?

This guy was first added in the FM24 data update on this site, and then subsequently created in the official database. This timeline is for the player in the FM24 update pack, while the link given by @Lebohang Mokoena is for the megapack image, which has been in place since the 2026 base pack.
I'm a bit perplexed as to how it's not showing for you, however. Can you give me a screenshot of your megapack folder?

@GWINESCORE Good cut, but please remember that we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. At the same time, the ideal cut only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.
I'll fix this one myself, but please keep it in mind for any future cuts you may do 👍

@mufcchampmanfan
For future cuts, keep in mind that the face should be straight-on, rather than slanting or at angle; i.e. the eyes are ideally in a straight line and parallel to the top or bottom of the cut.

@mufcchampmanfan , good effort, but this cut has a fair bit of snow:
