Much too small to be worth cutting.
#880849 Max Guerrero

@rodhinho Good cut, but please remember that we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. At the same time, the ideal cut only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.
I'll fix this one myself, but please keep it in mind for any future cuts you may do 👍
Here's a video of the process on how to nudge the collar upwards:
#880819 Home thread for the FM26 Cut-Out Megapack - 2026.07 OUT NOW [17/06/2026]
mons
Update 2026.06 is now available for download.
Containing 5,914 cut-outs, it takes the total amount of cut-outs in the megapack to 548,323.
Before downloading, please make sure to refer to this thread.
If you have any issues with the megapack, please use the technical support thread and check the installation tutorials and FAQs before posting your query 👍

No worries - I had assumed you'd got it from here tbh!

@SDMD, it's great that you're nudging collars upwards, but have a look at this post to see how you could do so in a more natural fashion 👍

@SDMD Brightening darker images like this one always looks better in-game. The easiest way is to go to this tab in Photoshop:
and tweak the brightness slider.
There is also a Photoshop action file, available for download here, which contains a lot of common actions, including one for brightening, for ease of use 😉

@Jan Edwinssen
a) Try and leave a smaller empty gap above the head. 2-3 pixels is enough.

@Jan Edwinssen, good work again 👏
Can I suggest that you remember to mark images you're working on, to make sure no one else takes them on at the same time without knowing they've been cut already?

Do take note of the guidelines. If the only sources available are no good, then it's best not to upload anything at all.
#880787 Naser Doko

@Friga_DnM, images in which the face is as small as this are no good for cutting.
#880782 Augusto Sonzogni
mons
@Friga_DnM, for future reference, when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time.
You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead of just a maximum of 3 when done individually.

@rodhinho, good effort, but this cut has a fair bit of snow:
Snow is the colour from the background of the cut which was not totally removed. It is often white (hence ‘snow’) but it can be other colours. It can often be easily removed by putting the cut through remove.bg.
Here's a video on how you can easily remove any remaining snow thereafter within Photoshop:
I've fixed this myself, but please keep this in mind for future cuts 👍

@rodhinho, this is not game ready because it has a white background, and not a transparent one. When cropping images, take care to do so 2-3 pixels beneath the chin, because you've cropped the bottom-most bit out.
Also, for future reference, when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time.
You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead of just a maximum of 3 when done individually.

@rodhinho, this is image is not of a sufficiently high-quality to be cut in 250x250. In cases like this, it's better to have it in 180x180. Also, leave no more than 2-3 pixels of empty space above the head.

Some of them have no collar, some of them are cropped too far from the chin and others are of poor quality.
This thread contains guidelines for what we're looking for in our cuts in terms of dimensions, snow, collars, face orientation etc. and video tutorials for each element.
Since you're starting out, I would suggest uploading an individual cut and its source in there, and wait for our feedback.
If you want to give it another go yourself, I would recommend using remove.bg, which is a free online tool which removes the background to an excellent standard, for free and almost instantly.
Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons. If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

@fancska992, larger versions exist, and these should have been uploaded as source and not game ready.

@mertmirac.b, start following the guidelines please. Unless you acknowledge this message, I won't be changing the status on your uploads. If something is not clear, ask, don't just do what you feel like.

@mertmirac.b, please upload the original source image. This is not in line with the guidelines for game ready images.

@Mr_Frostman, we want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:
