Good work @0wahltz
Can I suggest that you remember to mark images you're working on, to make sure no one else takes them on at the same time without knowing they've been cut already?
#880308 Luciano Acosta
mons
@caetano10, collars please. Do we really still need to point it out?
#880204 Cut-Out Faces Megapack TECHNICAL SUPPORT thread - first post updated for FM26

We have a dedicated cut-out section, with a dedicated technical support thread, so I've moved your post into here.
Have a good luck at the main post, see if anything helps. If it doesn't, please provide screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder.

@halvard352, the ones that I've rejected have been cut recently and don't need to be done again quite so soon.
#880175 Sarah Keita

@halvard352, are you sure this is the right image for this person, or is the current megapack cut the wrong one?

If you've resized it, then you've changed the basis of comparison 😕

That image is 1448 x 2048 pixels in size, and yours is significantly smaller. The current one might be very slightly grainy, but it's a much preferable option than yours. "First come first served" doesn't really apply - it's the better source which should be retained.

@Netherlandal, good work, but try and crop a bit closer to the chin next time. We want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:
At the same time, we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.
Here's a video of the process on how to nudge the collar upwards:

Because of the message above yours.
There are 3 images in this timeline - which is the wrong guy?

Again, @Nuno Araújo, read the guidelines. Moreover, better sources are available to give us a better cut than this.

@Nuno Araújo, please use the upload pack function to provide us with the original source images for these. If you intend to cut images, please make sure to follow this thread, which contains guidelines for what we're looking for in our cuts in terms of dimensions, snow, collars, face orientation etc. and video tutorials for each element.

Use the upload image button, it's what it's there for 👍

@Rivozz, a couple of things to keep in mind please:
a) keep an eye out for snow. Snow is the colour from the background of the cut which was not totally removed. It is often white (hence ‘snow’) but it can be other colours. It can often be easily removed by putting the cut through remove.bg.
Here's a video on how you can easily remove any remaining snow thereafter within Photoshop:
b) Brightening darker images like this one always looks better in-game. The easiest way is to go to this tab in Photoshop:
and tweak the brightness slider.
There is also a Photoshop action file, available for download here, which contains a lot of common actions, including one for brightening, for ease of use 😉

Yeah, but I think you've gone a bit too far the other end now. I'll see what I can do 😉

Do you still have the source for this one @tv_capper? The colour is all wrong
#879987 Germán Barbas

@Friga_DnM, this has also been cut recently and from a better source. Do take the time to find the best and largest possible sources for your request.
#879986 Andria Bartishvili

Moved it to the correct timeline and he's been cut recently 😉

@Friga_DnM, for future reference, when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time.
You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead of just a maximum of 3 when done individually.

#879948 Ewen Jaouen

Source seems not to have been good enough, and there's too big an empty gap above the head.

This is an intentional addition by SI, as per this post on their official forums. Doesn't seem like there's anything which can be done about this so far, unfortunately.
