What? Why the hate for Hodgson? He was put in an incredibly tough situation before the Euros and handled it the best he could, even if you don't agree with the decisions he made.

Probably because of the pathetic "footballing reasons" excuse.

I don't really care if he plays for England or not, on one hand if he's happy to play for England then fair enough but I'd much rather he didn't for United's sake. I doubt I'd want to play for them had I been so poorly treated though.

He didn't get plenty of the ball at all, he barely touched it (which is what he said). If he had made any real contact on the ball then it would've followed the direction in which Fellaini was going, rather than still being booted upfield by Milner.

Just because you touch the ball doesn't make it a good challenge.
