Say all you want about people only attacking him because its Wilshere (which I think is bollocks. For some reason Arsenal fans think rival fans hate him) but I think you're only defending him and getting butthurt over it because its Wilshere too.

I'm sure they've had a chat about it though, his dad also said that he should wait until he's playing first team football before deciding on a national side.

Apparently Marc Wilmots (Belgium national team manager) has said Januzaj is staying at United. They were saying it on SSN before but I've not found any quotes thus far.

I don't think a lot of players truly support a team from a young age. I think unless young footballers play for a side their parents support or play for a team that is local to them and then make it with said club, then they probably do truly support that side (Gary Neville for example). But I can't imagine young players who move from club to club academies or move to a different city in order to play football really support anyone. I imagine players just like whatever club they are playing for and have favoured footballers but don't really support anyone. Not in the same way non-footballers do.

If we could stop trying to cross the ball into the box from about 40 yards out, that'd be great.

Liking that team. Great to see Januzaj starting, I'm genuinely getting worried about his contract situation so hopefully giving him games will convince him to stay.

I've loved this game every year, usually when changes are made you get loads of people moaning but I've usually liked the changes. When they revamped the defending system I thought it was a massive improvement for example.

But, I'm finding it very hard to enjoy this version. If PES wasn't so bad I'd give that a go.

Nah, a combination of any shots anywhere near the area being ridiculously accurate and powerful, really poor goalkeepers, really poor defending on crosses and players having the turning circle of a tank make this a poorer game than 13 imo.

I still win most of my games, but I don't think it's as good as 13. I think they've tried too hard to make the game more realistic when the game engine was great in the first place.

Shooting is well too easy, all of my shots seem to be flying in.

Yeah, plug a console into the projector and it will play anything. We'd have to watch it before the first film goes in but in some screens films don't go in until 12 so we'll have time. Gonna be awesome.

FUT is alright, H2H Seasons is still my game (and pretty much all I play) but FUT is decent, annoying when you come up against someone who has obviously plowed loads of money into it though. Anyone who buys coins is a sad fuck.

Ha that's ace! I'm loving picking random pedestrians up at the side of the road. I found 2 guys digging a hole for this girl so I shot them both and she explained she was the daughter of a big Mafia boss and if I returned her home I would get rewarded. I got 60k!

Also took some guy to the airport and as he got out he recommended some stocks to me, I put them on and made a fair bit.

I agree with you on Ferdinand, before the City game they said it was the first time he had played 6 games in a row in about 3/4 years. There's a reason he hasn't played that many games in a row beforehand and it showed yesterday, he was awful. Evans hasn't played at all yet and I'd hate to lose him.

On Young, I could actually see why he chose him. I don't like him but he is excellent at tracking back. If people want to see that as defensive or whatever then fine, but away at City, if we're playing a 4-4-2 then I can understand why he chose Young. Personally, knowing RVP was out, I would've stuck Welbeck on the left in a 4-5-1/4-3-3, we played miles better once he did that but it was obviously too late and also I don't know how much of that was down to City easing off.

I think he's been trying to take "safe" options with these big games and sticking to players that he knows better than others. Our next few games in the league are West Brom, Sunderland, Southampton, Stoke and Fulham so hopefully he will feel more obliged to take a risk. I'm quite worried that Zaha has not even been making the bench.

I can't believe he didn't make further changes yesterday though, the game was gone at least give some minutes to a few other players.

I think there's more to it than Sunderland just sacking him for bad results.
