I think the person you are does attract you to a club. If you need to be successful, you will support a major team- if you just care about your local club and loyalty- you will support that team. Of course many might be near to a local club who is successful.

Every defeat matters no matter what league you're in?

Oh, and yes, Arsenal do have plentiful potential- but the clubs in and around them also do, and perhaps more. It's only harder to support successful teams if you have a phobia of failure. Most people surely get rid of the phobias by the time they've left school.

Yeah but the point this all redirects to is that you support a team that week in week out is performing with the best in the world- a team that is extremely talented and gets big results often, against the best of teams. Think about fans of small, non-league and lower placed sides- they care about the club, and will always follow it.

Arsenal are another club like the rest, it is not a farce, look where it is at the moment. Sometimes we need perspective. Being a fan of a club that struggle can give you that. And when I say struggle, I don't mean compete with the best teams in Europe and the World and finish as one of the best 4 teams in a nation of 60 million for about 10 seasons in a row...

I'll take that point- superb play after that goal; we rode our luck big time beforehand, but we need to do that. 12th place yes, but only 6 points from 6th place, and if we can keep up this 6 game run, we can near that.

Good equaliser for Fulham, can't spell the cunts name.

We're awful.

Kacaniklic- he joined the Liverpool academy at the age of 16.
Damn, we had some real talents :/

Arsenal really could do with a win here. HT will be brutal in the dressing room.

Top 100 UEFA Clubs

I think it's quite outdated, considering they have Birmingham in there but not Newcastle.

It's not outdated- it's up to the end of the 2011-12 season (last update). They are 5 year rankings of clubs performances in Europe. Birmingham went in the UEFA Cup / Europa League for the league cup victory a few years ago IIRC- and Newcastle hadn't been in for the whole 5 years.

Got 89 in that quiz by the way, missed some SIMPLE ones: Sevilla, Wolfsburg, Rubin Kazan, Udinese, Hannover, Saint-Etienne, AaB, Stoke, Racing Santander, Rennes and Zaragoza

Wtf Rodgers?
Anyway, I would have gone with:

Jones

Flanagan
Coates
Wilson
Enrique

Coady
Shelvey
Suso

Assaidi
Morgan
Downing

Jamie Carragher, Joe Cole and Jordan Henderson are so irrelevant. I appreciate Jamie for his work at the club, but he should retire and maybe move to the backroom staff or chill for a bit- and recalling Cole from loan was useless. Henderson needs to be shipped to Stoke or something.

Fuck off City
Anyway, Ajax hold on and they should get EL, presuming City don't win at home to Real or away to Dortmund (neither likely).

Schalke 2-2 Arsenal; Olympiacos 1-1 Montpellier

Schalke 8
Arsenal 7
Olympiacos 4
Montpellier 2

Arsenal-Montpellier
Schalke-Olympiacos

Olympiacos-Arsenal
Montpellier-Schalke

Schalke should qualify, and if Olympiacos don't win today, then Arsenal should join them- it will be all about 1st or 2nd.

Okay... Olympiacos up 2-1 now, just a point behind Arsenal- group on...

I love the false nine role, more teams should employ it. Suarez perfects it in my opinion. Strikers are over-rated.

Well that was fucking awful. We misplaced passes, out of position and were so wasteful. It could have been 10-1.

Need to make some signings, tactical changes and magic before the season starts. Shocking.

The team I had for the 2. Bundesliga was definitely satisfactory. Good squad depth and some real stand-out players that are better than 2. Bundesliga quality. Some quite old players in there though, and will hope to get some good Bundesliga targets. On a shoestring budget and will be hoping to make a profit however.

FC Sankt Pauli 1910. Germany's socialist football club. Why St. Pauli you ask? Well, there are so many reasons. They are such a unique club, in the poorer districts of Hamburg, in Northern Germany.

The fans own the club and have shaped their past and future. They have a large socialist section of fans, with progressive policies throughout. They are a club that has hung on to traditions, their heritage. The terraces, cheap tickets, good quality cheap beer and food, and a big no to fascism, racism, commercialisation and modern football.

The scheme 'Against Modern Football' is increasing in popularity and knowledge around the world. With clubs such as Ajax, AIK, Rosenborg, Spartak Moscow and more having large 'Ultras' sections that focus on fighting against modern football. Small teams such as FC United of Manchester and UC Ceares have been based on their fight against it.

My own aim for St. Pauli is to promote a good financially run club, with little debt. A focus on youth and the supporters. I'm hoping to get the club back into the Bundesliga and hopefully have some good cup runs.

I've also loaded Argentina, Norway, Holland and Spain as well for future years, as well as England, Portugal, Russia, Italy and France to view.

Molde lead by 4 pts with 2 games to go then.
Molde- (h) Honefoss, (a) Fredrikstad
Rosenborg- (a) Stromsgodset, (h) Fredrikstad, (a) Honefoss

Last two matches opposites of each other. It'll be tough for Rosenborg to get the 3 pts from Godset tomorrow- but if they can, they have a very slight chance. They now need Molde to drop points in one of these matches and Rosenborg get 9/9.

Molde 85%, Rosenborg 15% I'd say.
