Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea

They're all probably tired of him constantly turning them over

Rafa was brilliant for Liverpool. A side with Steve Finnan and Djmi Traore won the Champions League- and we got to a final, a semi, and a quarters, as well as being constantly in the top 4, and won a cup or two. Excellent manager who lost the plot by thinking Gareth Barry was better than Xabi Alonso.

You's will never get Pep, never.

What does Roman even think when he makes these decisions?

But they are. Shakthar scored twice at the Bridge therefore they win the tie-breaker against Chelsea (pts in direct confrontation -> goal difference in direct confrontation -> away goal scored in direct confrontation)

The only way Chelsea qualify is if they beat the Danes and Shakthar wins against Juve.

"We should have won our own damn games"

Ah. I thought it was H2H pts, H2H gd and H2H home goals.
Chelsea in real trouble then.

It's interesting that if Oscar didn't score in the 87th minute in Donetsk- a Juventus win against Shakhtar would also have meant Chelsea are out regardless of their result against Nordsjaelland. Never mind Victor Moses' goal.

It will be interesting if Shakhtar and Juve end up playing out for a 0-0 draw. I wonder what the Chelsea reactions would be!

Valencia lead Bayern 1-0. Looks like Bayern will be finishing 2nd and could play the likes of Barcelona and Man United. Teams like Real Madrid, PSG, Arsenal and Juventus look possibilities for the second pot however.

They can't be called that, they only have one black player.

Dissapointing to concede such a soft goal, when Chelsea looked better too.

But it is completely deserved, they've gone in behind of the back four a dozen times already

I'm not sure if that is a universally renowned joke that i'm missing out on or what?

Juve are a class act. Chiellini reinforcing the point that he is one of the best CBs in world football.
Cech has been pretty solid as well.

Norway, Sweden and Finland (possibly the most social democratic/socialist states in Europe due to their social and welfare models have no minimum wage). Ireland's is the second highest in Europe.

In Moldova, the minimum wage is 0.27 euros per hour...

End of the story is, Palestine and the surrounding countries have been trying to take the 1947 land of Israel for years now. Everytime they do, they lose more of it. Hell, Israel would still have had the Sinai Peninsula if Egypt didn't cosy up to them. They didn't 'take' anything and if you think they did, well then that's a common mistake from the public I guess.

You make lists of favourite politicians? Bet you're great fun at parties.

Actually, I don't take my laptop and visit these forums at parties- so yeah, I'm fine.

War is fucking stupid- but it's happened now, and Israel fucked shit up. And that's why they own that much now. When you have every country around you wanting to kill you, you must retaliate.

Hamas has been firing into Israel for months now. Israel has hit back. And to those saying Palestine has no military- Hamas do, and Hamas control matters there, or at least they hope to. People get killed. This is war, no two ends about it. If Hamas attacks, the IDF gets them back. Israel have a missile defence system, but Hamas are still attacking.

Margaret Thatcher was clearly both the best party-leader as well as the best PM.

Get a time-machine, visit Northern England or Scotland in 1979 to 1997. Her economics may have encouraged falling unemployment (after it touched 3,000,000), and falling inflation. GDP may have grown, but it was all at the expense of taking jobs from the industrial areas and making jobs in vastly more profifitable areas in the South and London. There were riots, strikes- and after she destroyed much of the North- she gave us no alternative. There were no jobs.
Social services, such as Healthcare and Education were in tatters. Poor infrastructure, poor quality of care. On that respect, 'New' Labour did very well after 1997. Poverty and inequality rose hugely. She was not the best

Well TS- would you prefer to finish 4th this year and quality for the CL, or would you like to win the League Cup?

Yeah Platypus- but surely the emotions at least remotely are relevant to their success. I mean I've always loved Sunderland from down in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, and live in Sunderland now- so have my allegiances with Sunderland as well as Liverpool.

And have any of their fans been anything other than upset with that?

The answer's no.

No one wants their club to stagnate, no one wants it going backwards. Ridiculous to say that there is no right for the fans to complain if that is happening because other clubs have it worse.

It's the exact same logic as saying you can't complain that a meal in a restaurant wasn't very nice because some kid in Africa is starving, and in both cases its stupid.

I didn't say he didn't have the right to complain. I just thought that calling the situation a farce was too far considering other plights.

And explain Platypus?

Liverpool have went big backwards- so have teams like Leeds, Middlesbrough, Bolton, Blackburn, Notts Forest, Aston Villa etc, they are in far more miserable states of matter atm.

And VP- that wasn't against you- it's more people from London supporting Man Utd or people from Newcastle supporting Chelsea. They have to win to be happy.
