Known FM26 Database Limitation

Some national teams use different Home/Away colours for specific competitions. For example, Türkiye and New Zealand have World Cup kit assignments that differ from their standard records, so the plugin may occasionally load a different variant even though the slot is still labelled Home or Away.

Could you please send me your LogOutput file or your save game so I can take a look? I tested the Italy national team, and both the home and away kits appear to be working correctly.

Sorry, the example folder is included in v2, and I forgot to enable the download link earlier. The download link for v2 is now active. So, if you want to use the v2.1 plugin later, you only need to replace the plugin ".dll" and ".cfg" files.

- Match slot fix: Away/Third no longer fallback to Home when FM selects a different kit.

- Reload without restarting game: Ctrl+Alt+K reloads

- Two versions are available: Auto , which automatically detects the default FM26 Graphics folder, and Manual, which lets you specify your own Graphics folder location.

Ah, sorry about that. I built the plugin with separate folder paths, so it doesn’t scan all folders automatically.

At first, I did it that way to make testing faster and safer. For goalkeeper kits, maybe you can try Bassyboy’s plugin instead. I think his plugin can automatically scan your GK kits wherever they are located.

You can change the location of your graphics path in the .cfg file. It’s already explained in the README.

Nice 🤩. Maybe you can make the 2D kits appear. I’ve already tried it, but for the Overview UI I still haven’t found the correct hook yet. I’ll PM you on Discord about the 2D kits, maybe you can help.

The collar area is still not perfect either, so the best method is still to crop it manually and create the collar manually using the existing FM26 base template 😁

However, the tool is still not perfect. Some parts are still not very precise, and there are a few cropped areas that overlap.

It should also be able to read GK home and GK away kits.

Are you using a custom skin? Which skin are you using?

Of course, that would be fine. But it probably won’t happen anytime soon, as I’m quite busy at the moment. If I get some free time in between my other work, I’ll try to create a setup and configuration for custom club GK kits.

Technically, it should be possible. I just need to add a separate configuration for another folder that contains club GK kits. But at the moment, it seems like not many people are making custom GK kits yet 😆

I got it from Bassyboy’s Stadium Pack mod.

From a quick look at your log, the 3D kits plugin is already running/working. Unfortunately, the plugin is not reading any kit mappings. Most likely, the issue is still with the ".cfg" configuration file. Please check and fix the "NationalKitFolder =" line, and set it to the actual location of the 3D kits folder you are using.

Sorry, but for now I can’t share the custom 3D kits that I use. Some of those kits are converted from PES 2021 kit collections made by various kitmakers, and I haven’t asked for permission from the original creators to redistribute them.

Make sure BepInEx is installed in your FM26 installation folder. Then check the com.restufm.nationalkitinject.cfg file and set NationalKitFolder to match the location of your custom 3D kit folder. Inside the 3D kit folder, there must be a config.xml file, and the file names in config.xml must match the PNG files in that folder. If it still doesn't work, please send the LogOutput.log file from the BepInEx folder.

In the comment above, I already provided an example of how to fill in the config file, the folder path location, and the contents of the folder.

I'm still looking for a way to make the 2D kits visible. Unfortunately, the national team UI display does not show 2D kits. They only appear in the menu when selecting a national team to manage, and that makes it a bit difficult to find the path to force the 2D kits to appear.
Maybe I’ll continue working on it when I have some free time.
The good news is that I’ve now found a way to make custom GK kits appear in matches 😊
