Hi! 

 

I just subscribed to download faster. Paid 10GBP. The only problem is that my PayPal account e-mail was different than the one I was logged in and tried to download.

Please can any Staff validate my download or activate the Premium Membership? Just created another account same as the PayPal e-mail but still don't have PRemium neither can I download fast. 😒

 

What can I do? I can provide evidence from e-mail that I paid.

 As an aside, I've never converted my IronPython-based scripting console to Il2Cpp even though I suspect it has a decent chance of working.   I would love to do that if the api was more pleasant to work with but I'm not sure it would be so probably still not the time to fix that up.

 

What's the IronPython scripting console?

 

Also just tagging @tdg6661 since you mentioned him and I don't know if he's aware of this thread

You don't need to edit our database to move the teams. Just create a new file that does that.

 

The files are loaded alphanumerically so just make sure it's prefixed with ZZZ or something to make sure it loads last.

October 29th Update

Just to set expectations and avoid disappointment editing will definitely not be opened on November 4th. November 11th is a more realistic target date.

 

This is both personal and technical.

 

(1) I'm in Australia for a wedding this weekend and then will be jet lagged.

 

(2) It's taking longer than expected to get all the data out and site updated this year with the introduction of women's.

 

(3) They keep updating the game and it's not clear what will be updated after November 4th.

 

Original Post

Just to let everyone know that submissions have been paused due to the release of FM26.

 

You can still download of course and it should be up to date since there's not alot of transfer activity around the world.

 

Submissions will of course be returning.

 

The reason for pausing is because
 

  1. We can't start updating FM26 yet because it takes time to extract the data and the data is liable to change before full release on November 4th
  2. If we keep submissions open people get confused and make submissions to our FM24 update trying to fix errors in FM26, this creates alot of extra work for moderators.
  3. It's nice for everyone involved to have a break and just enjoy the new game.

I realise this might frustrate some people who are not yet playing FM26 and want to keep updating FM24. This will be possible. Please just have some patience it's just 2 weeks and pausing is going to make things so much easier to update the site.

 

And of course a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the people who have contributed, over the years 6,620 people have contributed so far and we hit our 1 millionth submission a few months ago, which is insane!

Sorry I can't really advise without more information. What issue are you having? It's just File > Load Data and then locate your files.

@Kinmar So far we've been told by testers

 

  • Only large logos work 512x512 they get automatically converted to the smaller logos
  • Nations and Competitions logos don't work together you have to choose one or the other
  • Trophy images take priority over competition logos for some reason so you can't have comp logos if you also have the trophy pack

Sorry we just made some changes to the 3D to accomodate the release of FM26, the kits were also available as part of the SS Kits Pack.

 

But i've now fixed it so that there are links for the 3D kits available.

We removed ID's for newly created players to avoid confusion, the ID's will appear once we know what they are from FM26.

@Sak894 I think you're missing the part about AI, you can manually adjust your training to account for matches, but the AI won't. They claim that this mod fixes that although I haven't been able to verify this myself.

Can you screenshot your editor data folder? Our update definitely doesn't change the rankings so it's probably another update. Since you're using the no date changes update I assume you are combining it with other files.

All the Fantasy kits from the past 13 years from this thread have now been added to the Fantasy Kits section. As many as possible have been done which amounts to 4728.

 

Obviously it's possible that some images haven't been properly attributed to the right author, team or brand, but hopefully the mistakes are very minimal.

@Footygamer I know I had a different opinion when this system was set up. But now I think it would be best if the 3D kits had their own browsing and submissions system. The 3D kits are by all likelihood also used by people who use the FC'12 kits and it is also actually more active than the SS' kits right now.

So for a variety of reasons I think it would be more appropriate with a separate browsing and submissions system for the 3D kits:

Only took 15 months but the 3D kits have now been switched out into their own style with their own megapacks.

 

The latest SS Megapacks still include 3D kits but future ones won't.

 

It is very probable that this refactor has caused bugs it had been a pretty big task to switch them out. If you encounter anything odd please report it first before trying to manually clean anything up and of course please be as detailed as possible when reporting something πŸ™‚

 

It seems like pre 2024 most of the images are not in the submission system and still in all the manual packs. I can't remember why this is, I think possibly it was just forgotten by me, I will look into extracting all of these so the historical 3D kits are still available.

 

Of course just to be clear reason for finally getting this done is because I anticipate SS Kits being compatible with FM26 but 3D kits not being compatible so expect a new 3D style being made available post FM26.

This is for adding new menus, overlays, and interactive elements to the game. Unity offers several UI systems: IMGUI (Immediate Mode GUI) is quick for debug menus and simple mod interfaces, UGUI (Unity UI) is the standard canvas-based system for more polished interfaces with proper layouts and styling, and UI Toolkit is Unity's newer HTML/CSS-like system. We're still waiting to see what FM26 brings.

IL (Intermediate Language) is the bytecode that C# compiles down to before being executed by Unity's runtime.

 

IL injection means inserting or modifying these low-level instructions at runtime to change game behavior without having the original source code. Tools like Harmony let you patch methods by rewriting their IL.

I'll begin adding the teams once I've got a good amount of data for the teams.

My first batch of teams to add will be in the USA after which I'll be able to share and you can get an idea of what I'm doing.

 

Something that's quite time consuming by hand is adding history for club, league and players so if you could provide methods of adding those it would make a lot of difference.

 

I assume you are aware you can use File > Export to export XML. You can just add one history entry and the see then structure of the XML and recreate those XML files for each row from your datasheet.

 

I'm not sure what other β€œmethods” I can provide. Like I said I have scripts to do it in bulk but they're tightly coupled to the sites CMS. All I could do is create a form for you to upload a CSV (or JSON or anything structured) that then creates the FMF.

 

Happy to answer any questions you have, but it's hard to offer advice with the vague information you've given so far I don't really understand what the blockers are.

I also have their logos saved by name so when they are imported into the game I can assign their UID.

 

You have to be very careful with this, if you delete a player, the change the order in which they're loaded or combine with other files then the ID's will all change.

I would not suggest adding anything by hand other than the Advanced Rules πŸ˜‚

 

Feel free to upload an example, it would help alot with understanding what you're trying to do.
