Yep CA/PA changes are generally only updated once a month at the moment.

Planning on letting you download your personal changes instantly if you'd like and still working on trying to create dbc/fmf files automatically which will solve alot of these headaches.

Sorry this was only counting linked profiles and transfers/contracts previously, but i've updated it to include new players and attribute submissions now.

Only mods can delete a player, please let us know which player it is

Can you screenshot your editor data folder and the list of checkboxes you see when starting a new game?

Yes I think this is probably part of it, but doesn't really answer the question.

“I want you to go to extra effort of keeping them separate so I can just delete it and use a different file” isn't very convincing.

I'd rather people say

“The reason I don't want to use your file is because XYZ issues”

That way we can try and work on fixing XYZ issues and acknowledge that people need an alternative until those issues are fixed.

@djdelmar okay I think the issue was that when submitting it was accidentally creating submissions even for people you didn't fill in.

This should be fixed now.

Please let me know if this wasn't the issue you were describing.

In future, even if you're not sure if something is a bug or intentional, it's much better to be as descriptive as possible so there can be no misunderstandings and try and suggest ways things can be better rather than struggling through something that doesn't seem logical.

Thanks for reporting @djdelmar but to be clear this is not intentional it's a bug and when reporting a bug it's really helpful if you're more specific about the issues you're seeing, screenshots, error messages, explaining exactly what team/players you were editing help alot.

I'm trying to replicate what you're saying but I can't figure out and I can't see any error messages in the logs now, i'm going to keep investigating along with other mods but it would all be alot quicker and easier if you explained in more detail. Hopefully you're online now and can try and help.

So you are 100% sure that Max Dowman does not show up at Arsenal?

Can you take a screenshot of yourself searching for Max Dowman and of your “editor data” folder and the list of editor data files with checkboxes when starting a new game.

Can you be more specific when supporting issues. Think about trying to make things as easy as possible for the person helping you to save everyone time and speed things up.

Do you mean new players are not appearing in your game? They are in the “changes” file and nobody else has reported an issue.

Unless you can provide more details i'm afraid I can't help you.

Sorry guys free mirrors have been harder and harder to come by over the years, especially ones that allow automated reuploading when they get deleted, which is our biggest issue. We can't manually keep checking the mirrors and reuploading, especially when people keep trying to download ones from years ago, so we need to rely on any that allow automation through code.

I will set some time aside to research some more alternatives.

To be clear obviously any that are giving porn or scams we will remove, i'm just explaining that it has been harder and harder recently, we've lost some good mirror sites we used for years and need to discover more.

@thomas j gleeson I can't see anything from today. Is it possible you have two accounts and accidentally have two subscriptions?

Yes we did because its been really inconvenient to try and update them both everyday, there are other discussions about this already spread throughout the forums.

@IgorTMT can you be specific, what do you mean “south america archive” do you mean the player histories? 

Specific player names and screenshots are really helpful in speeding up any fixes, otherwise we have multiple people spending an hour plus loading up the game trying to find examples that you've already found and could have shared already.

Obviously we'd like to fix any issues you uncovered, just telling us to make it deletable rather than describing the issue and giving us a chance to fix it is a little frustrating.

To be clear, we're not aware of players having “random and inaccurate data” and would appreciate more specific examples.

@sirEmresto this is from your file I think, can you come in and discuss why you've set the prize money the way you have.

No it can't work with real world mode. We haven't really spent the time to do this because there's been no demand for it.

No there's no way.

You may see some people using a “real results” file to fast forward the game but it's not possible to do knockout competitions so the wrong teams qualify for Europe and the wrong teams get promoted and relegated through playoffs.

Our way is much better, all the contract dates and birth dates are updated as well as player histories, the only issue is the way the date appears on screen.

That time is the time the XML was built, the FMF was not built till much later and it's not available until the FMF is built.

I guess it should have “Built At” and “Released At" to be more clear

It starts in 2023 like normal, all dates (dob, contracts etc) within the game are adjusted to accomodate that

@p o l a r b e a r we've actually just been putting loads of work into the ID's for the new players so that we can start creating facepacks for them.

It's not quite ready yet but it's near the top of the todo list.

As maconolly said they start at 2002042189 and the way the new system works they should be fixed for every game now, but the fixed ID's aren't displaying on the website yet, that will be soon.

@Melih Salih Menteşe can you give more details. Has the prize money been changed in one of our files or are you saying the default version of the game has bad prize money set?

Can you be specific about what prize money is set now and what you think it should be?
