St. Johnstone third isn't this season's kit. It was a charity one for last season. If they have worn it, my mistake, but I know people are asking for it even though it shouldn't be in the pack. It is in last seasons FC12 pack I think.

Yes, I was probably exaggerating, but they will take a hit, especially on PC. PC version for many is all about modding, even to a small degree. Console and mobile will be fine, because those players play knowing it will be limited mod wise. It all depends on how far behind they are and what kind of game they could produce. With features falling out regularly, and very little to go on in terms of what is new, they could end up in a catch 22 because if they release a really poor game, people will just stick to FM24 for a few years until it is sorted. 

The early signs don't look good at all. Lack of clarity on what will be included but loads on what won't, seeking sympathy for developers paid to do a job (while everyone else in a job works hard too - one way to alienate players that look forward to FM as their release from tough jobs), and playing to the PC audience by pretending men's weight in football is irrelevant just because there are (possibly legitimate) concerns about implementing any sort of accurate weighting system for women. I think the number of players likely to play the women's game is very, very small. 

That said, I do think keeping weight out of the women's database is understandable, there is a point in there, but to all of sudden remove men's weights is absolutely mind boggling. Can't be hard to have them show for male players and not show for female. Fairly elementary coding required to have a boolean that toggles on a gender field in terms of output, unless they are moving away from two genders? 

Increasingly out of touch with what the loyal customer base wants. Started with the digital adboard stuff. They could easily have reached a compromise on that where it were possible to hard code every second board and leave modders free to add in their own on an alternative feed i.e. hardcoded, modded, hardcoded, modded. Instead they threatened legal action on their own community modders, while any non-UK based modders are still sharing video boards etc. 

If what they produce kills off the modding of kits, logos, backgrounds, adboards etc, then they will lose a large number of loyal players. 

Naturally, we don't know what sort of state FM25 is currently in, but it seems they may abandon it and go for FM26. If they do that, and provide clarity on modding capability to give the community reassurance, and throw in data updates for FM24, they might get enough goodwill to see them through. If they go ahead with a patchwork release that also shows a lack of modding capability, it will be game over quicker than they think and will see lots of loyal players stick with FM24 infinitum.

Contract length is not a mistake, deal is until 31st December but Motherwell have the option of extending, albeit I don't think that can be factored into FM, but it is a deal from now until the January window opens. 

Article references talks breaking down, but he has subsequently left Hamilton after his contract expired, and on trial at Ayr, but nothing confirmed in regards to a contract there. 100% left Hamilton Accies. 

Hi, Celtic has confirmed the appointment of Jonny Hayes as coach of the U18s. He is a non-player now rather than a player. Confirmed on 10th July.

Was correctly added as GK Coach at Queens Park, but his status was not changed from player to non-player. He has completely retired from playing. Latest change is just to alter Player to Non-Player so that the GK Coach element kicks in properly. Thanks.

Has left Celtic, removed from site this morning with news from article early in the summer confirming he was leaving. No club currently.

In Scotland, the five teams that qualify for Europe do not enter the Scottish League Cup Group stages. To reflect the forthcoming season, St. Mirren and Kilmarnock should not be part of the group stages of the Scottish League Cup, and should be replaced with Aberdeen and Hibs (as they were in Europe in 23/24, but didn't qualify for the forthcoming season as per St. Mirren and Kilmarnock). 

Apologies if cups are outwith scope, but as it is a knock on from European qualification, I thought I would share. Thanks. 

@priority76 I know it is a long shot, but just in case FM25 is a disaster given it is a new format/interface/engine and the kits situation is unknown, do you think you will create you annual SPL pack? If not, thanks for all of the work on Scottish kits over the years, massively appreciated. 

The change I made references a loan deal, but there is no loan deal. Not sure if I made a mistake, he has joined Motherwell, one year deal with option for a second year. No loan.

Thanks again for these. I am using the real file, and when I went in to apply promotions and relegations in the regional leagues, the editor gives an error when verfiying which is specific to the SPFL reserve league. It says 9 teams are required when only 8 exist, but there are 9 teams listed in the league. 

It isn't anything I have adapted, as all I have actioned is things like swapping Arthurlie and Drumchapel. 

Any idea why that might be the case?

I managed to get the file to verify by changing the minimum number of teams required from 9 to 8, but not sure what would have caused the issue or if changing to 8 will impact the save.
