Incorrectly recorded as player/non-player, when he is now only a non-player. Retired from playing before Christmas. Now the U18 coach only at Hamilton and not available as a player. 

Jonny Hayes has retired as a player and is now a coach at Celtic. The original update didn't reflect this as he was left as a player rather than being changed to a non-player. Thanks

Released at end of contract. On the BBC transfers page but confirmed via various club fan media as well. BBC have it though. Also shows on transfer market page for Celtic B as released from club.

Gee, I am not 100% certain in terms of the FMInside media pack, but for the pack I worked on with Nik as mentioned by @shark104, you would delete the media and bookmaker files from this real name fix as mons says. Bookmakers are part of the pack Nik made, and I added loads and loads when updating English and Scottish media. Each to their own, but last time I checked, niks pack had many more UK based accurate media sources and bookmakers than any of the others out there

Just incase you guys lock the update again for a few days with the latest patch, this was missing again in latest SI update, so needs kept in as is currently the case. They missed it again.

Loan was extended to cover the entire 2024 calendar season in Ireland. Had originally expired at end of 2023 season in Ireland (Nov 2023), but extended to Nov 2024 as per Shamrock Rovers website.

Signed a contract extension to last until the end of the Scottish season. 

Now confirmed on Rangers official site. Understand if an issue with the loan option here not having a start date, but now 100% confirmed.

Hi william, thanks, it explains the transfers I think. I am pretty sure for your file you would need to transfer those four players and reapply Johnny Kenny's loan if you made the B team extinct. I have no idea as to what impact making them extinct has had on the way the squad shows, will take another look in case it is me.

That sounds like the XML file might be looking for videos that are not in the folder the code says they are. So if in your XML file for a club, you have seven videos listed, but in the folder for that club, only three videos exits, it will show blank boards until it gets to one that is there. Can also happen if any of the video code is pointing to another folder e.g. a generic folder for a league/country, again, where the boards are not there. Can also sometimes be as simple as the file path to a video that does exist being incorrect.

Finally, depending on when the video boards were created and by whom, some play quickly. At some point the guys who were making boards changed the length of each video file, can't remember why, but you will find that if using custom packs you have pulled together from previous packs, some clips play longer than others, which can explain why some ad clips play really quickly too. 

If some work and others are blank, it is almost always this.

Also finding that perhaps again linked to changes with the way the B team are setup, the squad screen when Celtic has loads of options missing.  It isn't skin related as far as I can tell and doesn't replicate if game loaded without this file. It only shows me Overview and International, but not tactics, players etc. as normal. Could it be linked to B team changes and how it draws information around both? Also noticed the U21 (B Team) has no players at game start. All players either go to the Main squad or U18. 

Hi William, I noticed a really odd issue with the file in that the youth players who left Celtic in summer IRL and who are not at Celtic if I don't load your file as should be the case, are all back at Celtic. Dylan Corr, Tsonela Letsosa, Adam Brooks, Ewan Otoo. I don't have any other editor files loaded, and can't replicate it apart from this file. Not sure if there are any other clubs impacted in this way. Corr is at Raith, Letsosa at Lommel, Brooks at ICT, and Otoo at Dunfermline, all permanent.  But when I load a new game with just this file, all four are back at Celtic. Not sure if a ‘B’ team issue if they were altered in some way, as in game without this file, it appears they transfer from the ‘B’ team to their new clubs at game start, rather than from the first team.  If so, could be replicated with anyone that moved from Hearts ‘B’ irl in summer to another team. 

Johnny Kenny's loan to Shamrock Rovers is also not applied and again was likely from the B team to them. 

Can anyone else replicate the above in case it is something else at my end?

EDIT - Just loaded this file in the editor and all four are showing as at Celtic instead of their new teams, Kenny had no loan. Guessing it is something to do with the transfer in the default database being from Celtic B to their new teams, and this file then altering how the B team operates/exists. Don't know enough about anyone that left Hearts or whether they left from the B team to check their players. 

Hi mate, hope all okay. If you are still working on the file, the Lowland League voted tonight to approve B team participation for season 24/25 and season 25/26 with the option of 26/27 if the clubs want to keep sending B teams. Guess it gives clarity for at least three seasons worth of FM including 23/24. Understand that given only Celtic and Hearts are in the Lowland League at the moment it would likely only be those two it applied to in a file. Cheers

@footygamer, I submitted a few Scottish Managerial changes, but as only working with classic mode didn't put real world contract end dates in, just released them. If you need me to go back and add dates I can but not sure how that works if in game they get a contract extension between the game start date and them having left. Thanks

He has some new ones in his pack. I would go with the above advice, get hold of as many as you can and make your own custom version but don't share it. As long as it is for personal use it should be fine. 

The main issue I think is no one seems to be making ivf dynamic boards, whether specifically for FM or for any other reason. Beyond that, you can take what exists already and make your own XML to get it all working. 

While unrelated directly, for a good few years cup draws have been a mess. The last tie drawn often flips from what is drawn to the reverse e.g. West Ham v Palace in the draw becomes Palace v West Ham in the news feed and fixtures. 

@fmilln7  For the Scottish clubs I have taken a previous pack by rabcp and updated it down to Highland league level and will keep going until the entire Scottish pyramid is done.  The Scottish ones above are mainly mine combined with rabcps. For some stadiums I have placed them in specific places but it doesn't work as well as it could e.g. repeating static boards hard coded into the game in places you would want another board to show. 

Beyond Scotland, there is a pack by crackvictor which is up to date for some big european clubs that may be worth a look but because of licensing issues, sharing packs, at least in the UK, is banned and si wrote to pack creators a few years back stating that they cannot be shared etc. Obviously, personal skinning is possible and I wouldn't want to share packs in the event that it caused issues for me or resulted in si preventing personal editing. 

Basically, what I use is a combination of rabcps pack, the banners pack that is out there for FM20, crackvictors pack and personally created boards. The main issue is I that I need to amalgamate various xml files, which I am part way through but won't finish for a couple of months. I don't have the expertise to do anything with video boards, so rely on those from the other packs, but I do update static and might do static for England too. Unfortunately, I can't share it publicly given the issues raised by SI when these used to be shared publicly. 

Does anyone know if it is possible to edit the club banners that appear in game, not the adboards, but the banners that show the crest/logo of the clubs playing in the crowd? The ones that show in the stands and behind the goals in the stairwells as shown in these screenshots. 

I think the update the other day may have hard coded the -10 deduction. To test if it has, load a new game without the editor file. If it is only -10 then that will be why. It means you won't need to use the editor file anymore.

Hi mate, bought yesterday, but noticed that the Scottish files/teams aren't there. I know they are listed on the website. Just making sure I haven't made a mistake downloading or anything. Appreciate that they may still be a work in progress. Thanks.

Also, when I choose a home and away team, the interface seems to disappear. It plays the sounds for each team but I can't do anything else if there is a goal etc. 

Hi @priority76 , while by no means a Rangers fan, is there scope to sort Ibrox in any update? I know irl there are very small gaps between the dugout stand and the two behind the goals, but it looks very different in game compared to real life with a huge gap on the wrong side (in game it shows as the opposite stand that is separated from the two behind the goals). I get the hotel/building is the best that can be done to reflect the staircase that sticks out, but the gaps are massive and was hoping there might be a way to get it closer to real life. I appreciate you are limited by what the editor lets you do. 

Is there a way to allocate the away section, or is that beyond the scope of the editor? If it is possible then they are in the diagonally opposite corner IRL.

Also noticed this season that at least Hibs, St Mirren and Aberdeen seem to have video adboards for most games, and would likely meet the threshold to have these permanently activated in game (some clubs will only use them on one side intermittently, but those three have what appears to be a permanent move to using them).  St. Mirren's permanent set only runs to one side but they are permanent.  Killie, Livi and Ross County also use them fairly regularly now. Haven't checked Hearts.
