6 in some rare cases custom kits won't show in some competitions for top 6 teams (infamous “why Arsenal shows no kits in cups”) - perhaps not in FM23, we'll see

First version of the file that covers points 1, 2, 3 and 6 will be available tomorrow

Level 7 is 80% done. Not sure about release date but not before 2 weeks.

I'm happy to present a complete English leagues 22/23 pack, with all leagues included down to level 6.

In order to speed up the release in paralel with SS kit pack, I included some SI original kits mostly in lowest leagues to act like placeholders. Those will be replaced with my kits in following weeks.

Also new in this year is that leagues sleeve patches are now stored as separate files (not drawn on kits anymore). I included “sleeves” folder with league patches that go best with my kits, this folder should be unpacked in same graphics folder as kits. Keep this in mind in future, I suspect many sleeve patches megapacks will be available soon, so don't overwrite english files from my sleeves folder.

In order to speed up the release together with SS pack I again used original SI kits to fill the gaps. I will gradually replace them with my own in following weeks.

Editor file that fixes color for FM22 has been removed as I won't sort colors in editor for level 6. FM22 users will have to fix colors by themselves.

For FM23 colors are mostly fine.

Editor color fixing file has been removed because I moved on to FM23. Last version of the file sorted colors for levels 1-5 so FM22 users will have to fix colors in editor by themselves for leagues in level 6.

You don't have to. Feel free not to use them. You can just grab Premier league from this pack and use only that.

I personally find original SI kits quite bad; they often lack design elements on the back (no stipes), wrong color for shorts and socks, and wide variety of colors where should be only one color. For example red teams colored from pink to dark claret. Blue teams ranging from skyblue to navy blue, and so on.

Now you might think that this is a waste of time for minor graphic reasons, and that time should be spent doing non licensed leagues. But the fact is that most of kit makers make kits that are relevant to their game, so I'm making England down to level 8. If I conclude tomorrow that levels 2-6 are ok, and I stop making those kits, I still wouldn't do other leagues. So you can consider levels 2-6 a gift that is not taking away from other content. 

I suggest you all refrain from adding english badges because they require a bit of repositioning in order to fit nicely on sleeves from various manufacturers. Many possibilities have to be taken into account, for example that Macron logos doesn't get half covered by EFL badge if Nottingham or Crystal Palace got relegated, or some National teams get promoted. So updating kits is also required and I'm in the middle of doing that. 

My next update will have updated kits and sleeve folder with somewhat repositioned patches, including Premier league. Lower levels will also be added in future.

So if you guys are making sleeve patches for England, they probably won't fit exactly on my updated kits. It doesn't matter in 3D match, but in locker room it'll be obviuos

Kit makers should create kits with empty sleeves and include sleeve patches with the pack. At least that's what I'm going to do

Only licensed leagues and cups have sleeve patches. Other leagues can have patches on kits like before. 

You can also add new patches for additional leagues in same ways as kits. Add a png file and a line in config 

I checked the league badges and I'm not happy with them. They're quite missplaced on the front half of the sleeve. It's not looking good with other design elements like stripes or manufacturers logos on sleeves. 

The good news is that it's possible to have “sleeves" folder with original config in graphics folder, paralel with kits. So I will provide folder with league patches together with my kits and it'll be fine

Don't worry about league patches on english kits, I will remove them in following weeks once I figure their exact positions on the kit so I can reposition other logos on sleeves accordingly. It seems that official patches are not in exact spot as mine

I can confirm that 3D kits in FM23 are exactly the same as FM20-22 so we can continue producing them for another year
