No sorry I dont have time for that. I dont do special requests. I am occupied with editing rules for 224 nations and a handful of continental rules.

Yes you have to play until 2025 for the format to change. It simulates real life.

I could change to what you suggest but it is not what I like to have. I dont have time to do requests, sorry.

But feel free to change my file. You can change the years which years run which rules but you will probably need to change the teams in the DB, change the rules for the lower divisions as well because I recall the number of teams change in different years. It is some work but do-able if you know how to edit.

There is indeed a mistake in the first registration period, which I think came from a copy-paste error because it had the winter dates as well as the summer dates in the record.

That is what I expected.

My files are pretty strict on the number of teams per year, so if you load a file which changes the number of teams in a division, then this causes problems.

yes, the verification is difficult in FM24 because there is an error in the original game. SI have set jamaica as host nation for central american cup and so teams travel and this causes a congestion in the schedule. This can lead to the stages of Honduras (and e.g. Costa Rica) not finishing in time.

Personally, I re-try many times until I get lucky and it works (sometimes 25+ retries).

Another solution could be to extend the dates (which I chose not to do, because realism gets lost)

I never tried Create a Club, and for some leagues with regional divisions, it will create problems.

However for Indonesia, I believe I did the group sorting bases on west to east coordinates. That means it should just work if you have set a city for your team.

I noticed that also the Championship Playoffs are missing. I will add that.

Not forgotten.. Serie D Wildcard Playoffs are for promotion in case there is vacancies in Serie C.

Because in FM, no teams can just “quit”, there is no need for this playoff because noone will ever promote from it.

But I could add it in a future update…

about the awards: I am not sure because I have not touched this in my edited file. In fact, there is nowhere where you can define the awards, other than in the database. And it was not changed from the original. I would be curious if this is working with the original game (without my rule files)

the promotion issue: I cannot reproduce this - I tried. It is correct that KL Rovers should not be in Super League because in the first season, the Super League is reduced from 14 to 13 teams and the winner of the A1 league is not promoted.

However, in your save KL Rovers seem to be somewhere in Super League but I don't understand what has happened. Like I said, I cannot reproduce this at the moment. I will keep an eye on it.

So unfortunately, I have no quick solution now.

You must understand that I edit every nation, thats more than 200 countries, and you can guess how many leagues. So then you can estimate how long it takes me to create them. So, I cannot do lower divisions without cloning myself 3 or 4 times. 

(I will be adding the regional cups though - 21 of them)

If not, I strongly recommend that you do.

Because original central american cup from SI has a bug. It contains Jamaica as host nation which is a mistake and it causes the schedule to play only that cup for a whole month an then the rest of the schedule is clogged up like it is in your screenshot.

In my CONCACAF.fmf file, I have fixed that bug.

Hello, I understand what you mean, but I make the rules as realistic as possible and for Netherlands, this means no promotion between tier 2 and 3.

I don't have time to create variations - I already maintain 220+ countries, it's too much.

But if you want, you can use my file as a base, and make the modifications yourself to add promotion/relegation.

• Which Database are you using? (is it 24.3.0) ?
• What start date are you using?

in 2023-24, Dnipro-1 still existed (and finished 4th). This is when the game starts, and my files are created to start in 2023-24.

Sorry, after further investigation it seems not possible because:

• if I move the date 1 year later, I am unable to get the last winner of Asian and UEFA Champions league. So I now remember why I did it that way and have to use the 2024,2028,.. years to run the rules.

I have personally not tried to start a game in the year 2024. But I think I know what happens:

the rule file is set to run in years 2024,2028, 2032,… and the competition itself in 2025. So if a start date is chosen in 2024 or later then the rule file does not run until the next time that it should run, i.e. 2028.

This is probably not how it is supposed to be.

I did an experiment to move the years the file is run to actually 2025 instead of 2024 and it will fix the problem.

However, if you start in 2025 then the 2025 edition will probably not run.

I will publish a fix for this soon, when I have sufficiently tested.

hello, New Zealand is difficult to get right because of the many regional subleagues. Imagine if only teams from the South promote, then after a few years there will be no more teams in the lower leagues of the south, and then the game will run into a problem.

Until I have a good solution for this, I cannot build reliable rules for the lower tiers.
