115-112, 115-112, 116-111 in favour of Tyson Fury. Klitschko just couldn't seem to work out how to counter Fury, he only landed 4 body punches in the whole fight. Deserved win and proved a lot of people wrong.

I said at the start of the season McClaren would go 10-15 games before Newcastle fans wanted him out. Apart from a spell at FC Twente, he has been shit wherever he's been since leaving Middlesbrough. Who would you guys want if he does leave? Moyes maybe?

End of Season

Bournemouth don't have much money, so I decided to go to the free agent and loan markets. Riise was signed on a free from India after his contract expired on January 1st, but will mainly be a backup. Mutch wasn't getting much game time at Palace so I went in with a loan bid and got him. Last signing was Amalfitano who was a free agent.

Kermorgant was the only player leaving permanently in January. He was on £17k per week and was the fourth choice striker so I got him out as soon as possible.

This was our full first team squad after the transfer window closed.

Now onto the results. It couldn't have got off to a much worse start after we picked up just two points from my first eight league games. I couldn't care less about the cups so those defeats didn't matter much. So going into the West Brom game at the end of February things were looking pretty grim. Bottom of the league, abysmal form and a squad destroyed by injuries. Despite all those things, we beat West Brom to claim our first win since I took over. Three consecutive losses followed that and I thought relegation was just around the corner. Then, when least expected, we picked up two wins on the bounce for the first time this season. A draw against Watford and a loss against Chelsea dented our chances a bit but then possibly the shock result of the season happened at the Etihad. We went and won 1-0 against top of the league Man City and followed that up with four points from Liverpool and Aston Villa. That late burst of form left us with a chance of avoiding the drop, but sitting in 18th, that would mean we would have to beat Arsenal to stay up. We gave them a good game, but sadly for us they were too good. A 2-3 defeat sealed our fate and sent Bournemouth back into the Championship.

Real getting thumped is one of my favourite things in football. I listened to it on BBC 5 Live and it sounded like Ronaldo and Bale were anonymous for nearly the whole game, I honestly forgot Bale was playing until they mentioned his name at about 70 minutes.

Spent the night browsing Spotify looking for something to listen to and I came across this somehow:

Outrageously catchy, I remember having hear it ages ago as it was on the soundtrack for an NHL game back in the day. The whole Bleed American album is actually pretty good, giving it a listen was a great throwback to the early 2000's.

I totally forgot I had that song until you posted that. Big Casino was my favourite Jimmy Eat World song though.

Quick Guide
- Holiday until 25th December.
- Create new manager and try to save whoever is bottom of the league from relegation.
- Stay until board sack me or season ends (whichever one comes first).
- Repeat process every season.

I will be playing in the FM Touch mode and I will mainly focus on saving Premier League teams. I may venture into the lower leagues at some point if I feel like it though.

This opening post will be used just to keep a record of all my attempts.

Much better than my first attempt, though the second season will be much tougher due to me not wanting to spend money ffs. Despite spending £50m on one player i've still got around £160m to spend (after some sales) and i just can't bring myself to use it

The point I was mainly trying to project has been summed up by Hamza Ali Abbasi's post on Facebook- quoted below.

And here we go, French flag being projected all over the world and facebook makes a French flag DP filter. I wonder why FB never created a Palestinian flag filter where hundreds die each month? Or maybe a Syrian, Iraqi or Afghan flag? A Pakistani flag after 16th Dec APS attack? Its exactly this "Selective" Humanity and Imperialistic mindset which leads to hatred towards the west. I condemn Paris attack but i also condemn the hypocrisy of western imperial mindset.

To say something like Facebook making a flag filter is creating more hatred towards the west is a bit of an overreaction don't you think?

You're making it sound like people don't care about the horrible killings taking place in the middle east, which obviously isn't the case, but why don't you have a guess at why the western world is more worried about a western country being attacked than an eastern country? Events closer to home will always take priority in the media, wherever you are in the world.
