The Mirandela B team doing their best to force their way into my plans. You all know who we face in the final.

Offered the pair of them out for 40m just to test the waters, City have come in with £37.5m for Mogi and Barca have bid £33.5m for Chokito. Both bids accepted. Hopefully they accept the contracts and save me on some hassle, looking forward to promoting two new strikers next season already.

Already looking towards next season, may sell a few first teamers just to save myself on high paid renewals. The likes of Mogi and Chokito have under performed and they are two massive financial assets, if I sell them I'll be looking for about 40m for Mogi and 28m for Chokito.

Plus, I don't like Chokito.

The League Cup is small fry compared to what we are aiming for, we're due another CL victory and surely this is the year for it. No matter what happens from now till the end of the season I've been pleasantly surprised by this squad. Had my doubts at the start of the season but certain key players have really dragged the team through some tough spots.

Man Utd await us in the Semis, we fell to them this time last year. Revenge.

Put it like this, its HT in the Chelski return game and Wasilewski, my CB, thinks he's Ronaldinho.

Lost the League Cup final 4-3 on pens, wasn't a priority but its still annoying to lose out on penalties. Played a semi rotated team but we still should have had enough to win. The CL shall be my salvation.

In my opinion Tito should have went down as one of the greatest managers of all time, he took Pep's Barcelona and before his cancer relapse I honestly believe he improved them. Just a shame he'll never get to truly write his name into the history books. He took Barcelona to a new level and I think Martino has just shown this year that it takes more then a half-competent manager to come in and for things to click.

Even with the cancer which will have naturally impacted everyone at the club Barca managed to get to a CL semi, the Copa final and they got 100 league points. This just caps off an awful season on the pitch by Barcelona's standards and off the pitch people (ie the British media) finally realised that Barcelona aren't this amazing fan-run club who we should all envy.

Bring back Laporta.

I'd be happy enough with Colback, he'd be coming in as a backup in the Guthrie/Gosling role, a little bit of that squad depth we've been needing.

Tremendous season for Borges, FM should bring in an All Star team feature. I'd love to see Mirandela's greatest all line up together. Carlos Santos feeding the ball through to Borges, just imagine.

Hardest part of this two legged affair has been overcome. My next two games are the League Cup final and the return leg.

Hard draw, the next six games consist of;
- Both semi final legs
- 2nd leg of the Portuguese cup semi final
- Portuguese league cup final
- Two league games

Gonna be all about keeping the squad fresh and rotated, league games and Portuguese semi go on the back burner.

European away woes are something of a Portuguese speciality. We're shite away from home in Europe and what Porto did was nothing short of a cataclysm.

Initial scare turned around, we'll be playing Porto in the final and chances are we'll face them in Portuguese cup final too. Two points ahead of them with nine games left in the league too. Our next league game? Porto.

Porto this, Porto that, shut up.

Tough game in Spain, least its all back at home! Borges unbelievable still! loan him to my montrose side?

You'd have loved Carlos Santos man, best MC on a set of legs. Played his whole career for me in the third division, legend.

So you sold your best MC and replace him with 36 years old ?

Unlucky about Bilbao result. Hopefully you can turn it around in 2nd leg.

Its the Skacel way. Shoot oneself in ones foot. One.

been a while man. I havent had a good long save since 2009/10 I believe. Inspired me to do another one this summer once Uni work is all complete, head back into the late night FM marathons.

Also agree about the tactic system on 14, its bloody horrible

This is my last summer of freedom, need to use and abuse FM to the full in that time.

When you get bored of this, I recommend somehow turning an MLS team into this sort of a world beater.

Its on the list, definitely want another crack at the MLS in FM14. Also, lack of UK coverage is killing me. Literally all we get is a 60 minute weekly game.

Bloody hell, hit a rough spot in the season. Top four in the league are only separated by three points and we should have coasted this CL game.

But I suppose this is what happens when you let your best MC walk, all part of a bigger picture, this squad is most definitely growing.

Far from the end of the world, but last season we had it easy compared to this.

Yep, if you get relegated its pretty much guaranteed that your reputation will decline. For example in my game Sporting Lisbon have went a while without winning the league, they now have the 7th highest reputation in Portugal, as opposed to the 2nd or 3rd.

Yeah you can get a rep boost through going far in the competition, if you are a smaller team you can get a boost just from getting through two or three rounds. Obviously the further you go in the competition the higher the rep boost.

Got my short term fix. He's got all the stats I want in all the right places and he's also not cup tied in the CL. His job is to come in, stand in the centre circle and hit the ball with the outside of his foot into the path of Borges.

Click on the nation you are managing in, go to clubs and then pick the reputation tab.

So if you are managing in Argentina, click on the Argentina national team, to go the clubs tab and it should come up with all the clubs and their reputations.

Best thing to do is bring in some scouts and have them scout England, they'll come straight back to you with a list of possible targets. Also try and get yourself a parent club.

If you are still struggling then go through the reserve teams of clubs that are local to you but in higher divisions. I have no idea where Wimbledon is in London, but lets say its in the South East. So you should look through the squads of Premiership and Championship teams from the South East of London for possible targets. Players will be more likely to relocate on loan if they can live local.

It takes time to build things up, growing attendances is linked to your clubs reputation and the reputation of the players you are signing. So if you want to improve club reputation when you are a smaller club you've got to go far in domestic cups, win promotions and establish yourself in your current league if you aren't pushing for promotion. Players wise you don't need to be spending massive amounts to bring in 'star' players, usually better players have better reps, so just keep aiming to sign the best players that you can.

In true short term fashion I have been half debating signing 33+ year old players for a change, sprinkle some wrinkles into my team.

Normally I do, but he was already unhappy because I'd set his asking price at 50m this summer and he thought it was too high, so I lowered it to 40m and it still didn't appease him. Decided to risk it to avoid further unhappiness and because I doubt I could pull that kind of bid in again if his form dips due to poor morale between now and the end of the season.

I also think his loss will make no difference to us winning the title this season, Europe is a different matter however.

Last throw of the dice, scouts are looking at loan players and ageing superstars. If I still find nothing then someone is getting promoted for a few months.

Struggling to find any decent replacements, could be a case of bringing in a loan player or just promoting someone and then reassessing at the end of the season.

The only French player I'd 100% want who we've been linked with is Riviere, and even that deal looks dead. Lacazette could be useful mainly because he can play uptop and on the wings in a 433, wouldn't be keen on Gomis though, never been a huge fan of his. We have plenty of deadweight to shift this summer, but it could be a tough few months for us, realistically we need a whole new strikeforce. And its the same old question of whether Ashley will invest or just go for loan deals and knock off priced players.

Remy will leave, De Jong, Shola and Cisse all should be leaving, but its probably too much of an upheaval, hopefully we don't sign De Jong, cash in on Cisse and just tie down Shola for another extra year (joy). Beyond that we need to decide on a formation, 433 or 442. If its 442 we need wingers down both sides, if its 433 we need a CM, a ST and an AML at the very least.

We desperately need proper investment this summer, it annoys me beyond belief that we finished ahead of Liverpool, Chelsea and Everton two years ago, we've been out-spent and out-ambitioned by all three since then. We need big investment because the other EPL clubs aren't playing the same games as us, we want a profit, they want success.

Aye I've now accepted the bid, got some targets lined up, gonna try and keep things relatively young so the incoming player can grow and also possibly be sold at a profit down the line.
