Will the Winter update just released affect things Mons?

Or is it simply a case of when starting a new game, applying your latest updated files from here, from December?

The amount of people who can't follow simple instructions must drive you mad Mons.

One question. Regarding reapplying when patches are released. Is this only relevant to starting new games or does it affect already started save games too?
