From the FAQ:

Club name changes were working fine in the beta but now I've download the new version of the fix, they don't work anymore. What's happened?
Reason: When club name changes are done via lnc files, this removes the clubs' nickname, which is not the case if editor data files are used, which is why these are preferred. Since editor data files didn't work with the FM23 beta, club name changes were done via lnc files during the beta version. Once the full game was released, club name changes were switched back to the intended delivery method, i.e. via editor data files.
Solution: Use this workaround to solve the issue in your existing save game.

Thank you. I did not see it as my save was not started in beta version, but with beta fix so I guess thats the same.

for me napoli , monza and lecce( italy) still have problems with name, anyone else ? also man utd.. but only in previous saves .. when i start a new game .. its all good … any help or?

Just noticed that lecce and monza are wrong in my save also.

Try starting a new save and see if they're still broken

Good suggestion. It works in a new save. Maybe I should not have updated the files ? 😢

To all people with Napoli and Manchester United problems → If you are on STEAM (don't have gamepass or epic version or macOS), it's almost impossible to do it wrong UNLESS you confuse your folders. I've applied the fix on BETA, and it's working on full version in each fm. So my advice is - please check the folder the game loads files from …

I am 99,9% sure that the files are placed correctly.

And most of it seems to be working.

The save game was started yesterday morning with the beta fix files. Then I updated later when the new fix was released. I can't say weather Manchester United and Napoli was working before.

I've done all the following steps….. & Manchester United are Manchester UFC. Anyone know why this could be?

Same for me. Also Napoli is not fixed.

Other than that most seem to be working.
