It's alright, we can agree to disagre. I want to get this working since they have a whole xml, blocking ads from being created for most unlicenced leagues btw. I am trying to reverse it, im just not a whizz with xml editing just yet.

its not SI though, it's SEGA and other sponsers that interfere. if it were SI they would have hardcoded this stuff out.

yeah, I made sure it would work for FM23 as I was in touch with the graphical team. but I can't seem to get my Japan adboards to work unfortunately. talking with them, It's fine to create adboards for non included leagues in FM (i.e Japan), but they will crack down on adboards that interfere with licenced leagues etc

Thanks mate. So the ADVANCED (JPN) file contains the league structure which ive used to change all the league names into Japanese

Its my own database which ive used to change the names. If there were a separate file for the league and another one for the players which file would overwrite the other one?

Morning, and great job on this database!

Just a quick question. I have tried changing the names of Japanese competitions so that they are in Japanese and these changes go through and work/show up when creating a new game, but when the new game has loaded all of these competition names are defaulting even though club names and every other competition is working as it should be. (Custom made leagues are working though).

Any insight on what I could try to get changes to stick?

Also FYI, i appologise but please stop Pming me about the FM21 file as first, I don't have it and I don't know where to get it so I can't and won't help.

As Rabcp has taken this down pretty much everywhere, I hope most of you can understand the seriousness of what likely would occur if this continued. 

For those who are somehow still not swayed, use google or anything else, but for obvious reasons stated above asking about it here won't get you anywhere.

@rabcp Apologies, it was why one of mine were taken down so i presumed it was related. When a small number of people use a file it doesnt effect much, but year in and year out this patch gets more popular, maybe too much so that they have no choice but to act. There are probably a lot of variables behind this decision 

Although it has happened, the main reason isn't because of modding itself, It's using copyrighted imagery (sponsers etc) and animated adboards. i know of one example where a sponser has asked SI to do something to stop their images being used, and I feel like others would have as well. hopefully we can still add our own as i am all for it

@destino32 it should be at the very end after all of the leagues

@William Paulet due to a bug, only 1 file that changes players will load, you can try merging the 2 databases and try again

@thurinho all files go into the editor data folder like other league files

Can confirm that It does work as I the creator have always used it with this 😉

J1 league stuff works but the other leagues are not showing up for some reason. need someone to check (ID's from 1166001) contains 81 static and 1 megalong scrolling animation

not sure if its down to not having backup video adboards for the other competitions (since japan doesn't in real life) 

I've made a request for it to be done, it is not actually done yet.

and Secondly will be going through club specific Video Adboards (static) will also if need be tip for these. 

Don't mind paying if someone could convert these into static (non video) competition adboards for the J1-3 divisions for japan. tried doing it myself but the xml is too confusing to work through. just quote me a number and ill give a nice tip
