Honestly can't believe the under 21 PL teams being allowed to play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Why change it? It was perfect to give fans of League 1 and 2 clubs the chance to see their team lift silverware at Wembley......now it'll be Chelsea under 21 v City under 21

Seen that yep, but also saw they're paying a bit less as otherwise more money goes to Pjanic himself if they pay the full clause. Think Roma end up with slightly more this way, something like that, but it doesn't matter really - it's way too low for a player of his quality.

Burnley and Brighton were 2nd and 3rd despite having absolutely nothing aside from running around.

Spot on that, both times Burnley have just gone up in the last 3 years it's just been down to organisation, work ethic etc. Absolutely nothing to fear at all in this division, we're all as bad as each other!

Don't do it Zlatan! You're right about the media too by the way Franck. There used to be so much sh*t written about him until he scored four against England, unbelievably that's what it took for a lot of people to realise how good he is (a bit like Pirlo's performance v England at Euro 2012).

And Vardy too, for that matter, hope he stays - it'd be a shame for Leicester to lose one of their key men straight after winning the league.

Awful appointment, it's like they're actually trying their best to wind us up.

Apart from one season where I was living abroad, I've had a season ticket since I was 5 (I'm 22 now) - but I'm finding it harder and harder to justify going. This isn't the Rovers I fell in love with!

Welcome, after Villa's efforts this season you'll fit in well with the pessimism in this thread!

To be honest though, anything could happen with Villa next season I think, if you get your managerial appointment right then you could well be up there near the top. Get it wrong though and have the wrong type of player at the club....well you've seen how that's affected teams like Rovers, QPR etc!

Love Zlatan and his statistics have never been seen before in France or at PSG, but stopping the game to applaud is a bit too much considering he's only been there 4 years. Things like that should only be done for Totti, Maldini, Scholes etc, one club men. (Although I don't think Scholes would have wanted anything like that!)

You're laying into Shearer and you were on Rafa's back after a couple of games yet you've never said a bad word about Mike Ashley or Pardew - doesn't make sense?

Plus I'm sure it was just Lineker who claimed that Shearer said that (probably ages ago), unless I misheard all Shearer said tonight about his reign was that he was the 4th manager that season.

I'd go for either QS Flores (Watford would have been happy with 17th upwards but the last few months really have been poor, can't see the owners being too impressed) or Martinez (obvious reasons) to go first.

Wenger will never get sacked I don't think, Neil should keep his job (could see them doing next season what Burnley have just done), LVG.....quite possibly he'll leave although there's still a chance of top 4 and FA Cup, slim chance albeit.
