Burnley have been promoted to the Premier League.

Wankers.

They've deserved it though, Dyche has done an excellent job.

and Giggs is the 'long term' replacement.

That would be a bigger risk than Moyes was!

I'll always wonder where'd we'd be if Ramsey and Walcott hadn't missed huge parts of this season.

A bit better off but not significantly IMO, you'd still have the same problem away from home against the top teams where you lack a leader at centre half or in the middle, Paddy V style.

3-0 now.

Can't believe Palace and Pulis, incredible job he's done there. Surprising as well how good they are away from home at the moment too, Stoke were rock solid at home under him but only won a couple of away games a season IIRC.

I just hope that in a couple of years time when he's stabilised them as a mid-table club that there aren't any know-nowts calling for his head due to his style of play.

I hate when people say stuff like that didn't ensure the job got done against Palace did he?

True, never know I guess!

Swansea turned it round at Newcastle, 2-1 up. Villa are dire.

Wonder what the chances are of Sunderland having another cracker and taking some points of Chelsea today, i'm thinking slim

Would be too much to ask for I think (from a Liverpool perspective), I think Mourinho will ensure the job gets done.

Yeah, that would be a poor appointment. Milan's performance at home to Spurs in 2011 was pitiful, they only woke up after Crouch had scored, you'd think such a dire and negative performance from a team that contained Ibrahimovic, Pato and Robinho etc would be enough to put Spurs off.

Not forgetting dragging them down to mid table too, of course.

Twice in a week now we've scored 3 and not won!

If this keeps happening was absolutely gutted at the end yesterday, if we'd have won I'd have said we have a chance of play-offs, but you can't draw 3-3 three times in a couple of weeks and expect to go anywhere. Chucking away a 3-1 lead as well, so frustrating.

Fulham v Norwich is huge today, the loser will be in big trouble. (Norwich would still have 2 points on Fulham but their remaining fixtures are horrible).

Fancying Everton to go 2 points clear of Arsenal too with a win at Sunderland, maybe 1-0 or 2-1.

Norwich's last 4 games are horrific, they really did have to win that West Brom game, but I agree I think they'll stay up by a point or two.

Race for 6th place in the Championship hotting up now, dare I say even we have an outside chance. QPR were shite though by all accounts tonight, whoever gets them in the play-offs will have no problem disposing of them at this rate. Let's hope Rovers keep it going for the final few games, will be incredibly hard to sneak 6th, think we've left it far too late, but I've started to get my hopes up again nonetheless.

More Moyes bollocks:

"There's a bit of expectation at Old Trafford, a bit less pressure away. We've lost a few home games after being a bit gung ho."

We literally haven't been 'gung-ho' all season.

Bollocks indeed, of course there's expectation at Old Trafford, you're Manchester United for god's sake! And yeah the gung-ho bit too.

^ We're so poor! Twice in a week now we've scored 3 and not won! And the other game in this week was bloody 2-2! Wouldn't be surprised to see another couple of draws in our upcoming home games v Ipswich and QPR.

Stuart Pearce becoming Forest manager, but only in the summer. Which is pretty weird because his main (only) managerial strength is motivation, that'd be far more likely to have a positive effect in the short term.

Top 6??? Sweet Jesus! It was only your first season back in the league last year. It's not the mid 2000's anymore where teams like us and Bolton (under Big Sam, so he does know how to get a team there) could finish in the top 6....there's already basically a top 7 in place nowadays. Look at how good a season Southampton have had yet they're still only 8th.

Also should be noted that whilst Big Sam had Bolton flying high West Ham were still doing what they've done for ages, yo-yoing up and down. Be grateful you've got a manager who'll never get you relegated, unless you fancy playing in the Championship in your new stadium of course.

Fulham 0-1 Everton just after HT, Fulham been playing well though apparently.

Good to see Hughes doing a good job with Stoke. A group of solid pro's suits with no big time Charlie's suits him down to the ground and he's got the best out of said groups at Rovers, Fulham and now Stoke.

I remember like 6-7 years ago when you had all the youngsters like Fabregas, Sagna, Clichy coming through. Everyone was on about how in 5 years theyll be leading Arsenal to titles and what not. Now they are all pretty much gone

I remember Arsenal's kids smashing Sheffield United 6-0 in a cup competition around the same time and everybody saying the same thing. Carlos Vela and that crew it was.

SAM OUT

Go back to the myth that is the 'West Ham way' if you want then, and pass your way into the Championship.

^ Agree in general but there are circumstances where it's understandable.

When we had that wanker Kean in charge here, if somebody had said to me at any point "If you lose your next 3 (or however many) games, he'll get sacked", I would have snapped their hands off.

Defeat can't be as painful as it was in 2010.

I know what you mean in the sense that there's no expectations really this time, but if you get really comfortably beat in both legs then it'd just show how far behind you've fallen and how long it'll take to get to that level again. You didn't have that to worry about in 2010!

Seen somewhere he should be fit for the derby, not been confirmed though I don't think.
