Exactly how annoying must Joey Barton be, that after having him in their country for 6 months the whole of France emigrate to Newcastle?

Seen that an insane amount of times on Facebook and Twitter. Fair play whoever came up with it first!

then spank Villa just to freeze up and get molested in the final.

You okay there?

A Rome derby Coppa final could be on the cards! That'd be top.

I can understand if it was a young lad, but he is a 17 year old little prick. Deserved it.

I doubt Hazard knew he was 17, could have been 13 or 14 for all he knew. You don't try and boot the ball out of a ball boy's hands regardless of his age.

Looking forward to the final btw. A massive day for both - Swansea's first ever major final and Bradford's first since 1911, iirc. It'll be an amazing story whoever wins and a more interesting final than if it was just two of the top teams from the PL.

Kean 20/1 hahaha, he wishes. I like how Appleton made that list too.

12 games without a win is pretty bad but it's kinda surprising nonetheless. Have you still got some of the Rhodes money to spend terriersmad?

I've got Gouffran on FM atm. His only stat above 15 is acceleration (which is 16) but he's pretty good - so Newcastle fans should be optimistic

Interesting read, and very well put here in particular:

Now let’s face it, Nile is a big lad, while I am not the most fit of 48 year old blokes. However, I have followed this club for 41 years, and while I don’t boo very often I was not going to let this “gangsta man” get away with telling us how to support our club.

Excellent stuff Bradford, well played. A League 2 team knocking out three Premiership teams to reach a cup final, unbelievable. Lambert gotta be living on borrowed time.

1-0 up and looking comfortable until Brain of Britain Goodwillie barges over a Brighton player going away from goal in the 95th minute. I knew he was thick but..........

Frustrating. Mid table mediocrity beckons.

You guys are so well organised. Annoying! Your squad isn't as good as some but being as well drilled as you are, where every player knows their role, can get you far.

^ His second yesterday was very nicely took.

Poor do for Roma last night, pretty flat performance. Inter without Milito and Cassano were definitely there for the taking but we didn't play well at all. The goals have dried up of late too. Pjanic was a big miss last night.

Yeah, this place is dying a death.

The main topics in Sports Discussion are still pretty busy, but yeah, I can't ever remember Off Topic being so quiet. Hopefully it'll get busier soon, it's been a top read over the years.

The bans for Cannavaro and Grava and the point-deduction given to Napoli have been lifted upon appeal.

Great news for Serie A!

But bad news, short term anyway, for Roma who are now even further behind the top 3. Not that it was likely we were gonna get it anyway........

The second leg of the Inter semi-final is in April now. So playing them on Sunday and Wednesday both at home but then the away leg isn't for ages afterwards.

After winning at Fiorentina in the cup last night AET, we've now got Inter at home on Sunday night in the league and on Wednesday night in the Coppa semi first leg. With the return leg a week later. So playing Inter 3 times in what, 10 days

The fact the clubs home fans persist with the booing doesn't help the team one little bit and makes for a very negative atmosphere.

There'd have been no booing or negative atmosphere when you were 2-0 up though last night, which is when you started to drop off. Probably not much at 2-1 either, bit of edginess and a few groans here and there but you'd get that at any ground when under pressure from a relegation threatened team having been 2-0 up.

And to be fair, taking Lampard off was very strange. He's always likely to pop up with a goal.

Good win for Bolton away to Sunderland in the replay. Walters has scored two in extra time for Stoke v Palace, he'll feel a bit better about the Chelsea game now. Blackpool-Fulham is in ET at 1-1, could go to penalties.

West Brom lost again too, home to QPR. This is probably the first proper test in Steve Clarke's managerial career, see if he can turn it around.

Catania away today. Probably the nearest Serie A equivalent to Stoke away. A point wouldn't be a bad result in a one-off game but we need to win after last week's result at Napoli.

It's a tough enough game without DDR being dropped for no reason at all, Pjanic suspended, Totti pulling up in the warm up and Ozzy injured.

It's not surprising therefore, that we lost. 10 points behind Lazio now as Hibee says and 8 points off 3rd. Yay.

Feck me the way Ashley Young goes down. Hate him.

Liverpool have been very poor and they're lucky it's still only 1-0. Rodgers needs to change something at HT - instead of waiting until it's 2-0 and game over.
