It appears you're using FC12 kits with the SS kit option activated from the skin “alts” folder. The flutskin default is FC12. I change it because I use and prefer SS kits.
You've done something wrong. Go over it again and check all folders/files are in the right place and check to see which folder is the default for FM to access in the game preferences.

There's a couple of balls that I'm not keen on. The EPL is too blocky, it doesn't make for a good rolling ball. The FA Cup ball does not present well at all. I've redone both, Summer and Winter. Take your pick.
Not at the moment, it's a manual procedure whereby you have to select the correct ticket for the match you're about to play. Maybe there is a way, wait and see.
In my ball pack I have two zip files, one for Summer ball and the other for the Winter ball. Both balls are named the same, so when the time is appropriate you simply right click the required ball zip file, select “Extract Here” and say yes to overwrite....

This was an occasional issue in FM23 but is a constant in FM24, mainly in the EPL, even when using the ball pack. I found if you change the Winter ball colour to white in the settings then an all white ball only rarely appears.

You won't see a balls folder in the game, you have to create one in “graphics/pictures”. The balls pack here is not an fmf file but a graphical one with a config file.
Not only is the flutskin more or less the same as in FM23 but also glad to report that kits, logos and balls all work well in FM24. Not installed the big files (faces and backgrounds) yet because I was impatient to play ! Hopefully they'll be fine. Loving...
It's always a question of finding the best image to create a decent 3d match ball and most are not available when the manufacturers release a new ball. Also I only focus on British leagues and cup balls. As and when decent images appear, I will do some up...

The latest enhancement to a must have pack if you use backgrounds with your skin.
