Raith Rovers Football Club is a Scottish professional football club based in the town of Kirkcaldy, Fife. The club was founded in 1883 and currently competes in the Scottish Championship as a member of the Scottish Professional Football League, having being promoted from the Second Division as champions in 2009.
The club's highest ever league position came in 1922, when it finished third behind champions Celtic and runners-up Rangers in Division One. The club has won two national trophies, the Scottish League Cup in 1994 by penalty shoot-out and on April 6, 2014, Rovers won the 2013–14 Scottish Challenge Cup after beating Rangers 1–0 with a late goal from John Baird in extra time. The club also came runners-up in 1949 as well as being losing finalists in the 1913 Scottish Cup Final. Below the top flight of Scottish football the club has won the second tier five times, coming runners-up on the same number of occasions, the last coming in 2010–11 behind rivals Dunfermline Athletic.
As a result of winning the League Cup in 1994, Raith Rovers qualified for the UEFA Cup the following season. The club managed to reach the second round, only to be defeated 4–1 on aggregate to eventual champions FC Bayern Munich.
Raith's home ground is Stark's Park, an 8,473 all-seater stadium in the south of Kirkcaldy. The club has been based at the ground since 1891.
Club Profile - The team play in all white
General Info - we have a strong rivalry with Dunfermline and East Fife
Finances - £75k budget isn't too bad but I'll be relying mostly on freebies and loans.
My Aims
My main aim is to get noticed by an SPL club or maybe even a high end championship club. I'm not here for the long haul

So with Raith sitting pretty in 5th, this is just above season expectations of 7th. As you can see from my form, I'm having a bit of a mid-season slump, not winning in 6 games. Hopefully I can turn this around before it gets too out of hand. The cups...well...
A few free transfers, a few loans. Nobody has been fantastic and I may just let most of them leave on a free in the summer.
I think my squads a little bloated to be honest so may trim it in the window. I have a lot of unhappy players as I can't offer them the playing time. Also, I've been getting a hell of a lot of red cards recently! Could really do with a prolific striker, As you can see, I've not been scoring many goals.
Stay tuned for end of season update

News from South, Arsene Wenger has just been sacked!
I'm hoping for an offer from one of the aforementioned Hearts, Rangers or Hibs in the summer, as long as they're still in this league.

Taken the new contract, but I still have my eye on a bigger club if they come calling. 4 games of the season left...

Final 4 games of the season, lost the first to a rampant Hearts, but managed to win the final 3 on the spin and sneak into a play-off. "Unbelievable Jeff!"

Never saw that coming. Great result, but team like Rangers could easily turn this around.
Second Leg
Football...Bloody Hell
Joe Boy
I still can't believe they did. After being spanked by Hibs every game this season, the team turned it around and pulled off the win when it mattered.
Joe Boy
Still very proud of my season, a 4th place finish and a couple of manager of the months. Not too bad.

Following in Sir Alex's foot steps, I'm now moving onto Scottish Championship challenging team in Rangers. Having under performed last season, Ally McCoist got the heave ho. I'm confident I can win the champ this year.

I'm probably guilty of bloating the squad out again, but you just seem to need this many players with all the cups and games being played.
Tapped up the free market, as I was blessed with a transfer budget of £0. Lloyd Isgrove and Fillip Twardzik were both real coups and I expect them to push on. Jack Grimmer one to keep an eye on as well. The rest were mostly squad filler.

Bugger, so close to my first trophy. Gutted

So, sitting pretty at the top of the league despite a patchy bit of form over the xmas period. I'm fairly confident I'll hang on until the end of the season.
Squad wise, I've managed to upset a few of the old guard for not giving them game time. They'll be gone in the summer. As I suspected, Jack Grimmer has turned out to be a real gem and Marcus Tudgay has chipped in as top scorer.
I've begun looking to the more obscure leagues in Europe to grab some Bosman's ready for next season. After being knocked out of all the cups by SPL teams, its quite clear my squad isn't good enough yet.

Step 2 complete, and with 6 games to spare.

Season is over. As you can see, I comfortably run away with the league. I expected to win it tbh, but not to this extent, especially with Hibs pushing me. Shout out to my old team Raith who have been relegated.
Marcus Tudgay really led the way in terms of goals with 17. And I had both keepers sharing the responsibility and really pushing each other for the spot. I had a good few young midfielders all fighting with each other and pushing the granddads out. Jack Grimmer was my superstar this season. I can see a fe of the old'uns making movements, including: Boyd, Paterson, Djemba, McCulloch and Mears.
3 Manager of the Months?? 3?! Liberty...
Young Canadian winger (and Rangers youth product) pulled off player of the year. Well deserved indeed.
Next Season? I really want to manage Aberdeen just like SAF and push them on for 3 titles. But if it doesn't materialise, I'm going to alter the challenge somewhat and try and get Rangers back to the top. Surely that's harder??

The Aberdeen job never came available, so I've stuck with Rangers and I'm gonna try and put them back where they belong.
With my first season back in the top flight, I thought it important to make sure I've got plenty of players. I'll stream down depending on how this season goes. Keep an eye on Ross Lyon and Scott Shepard. Both are academy products, that I aim to slow blood into the first team.
More dipping into the free transfer market. Especially as I have massive financial restrictions, I'm only receiving 10% of transfer revenue. Most noticeable players leaving was Kris Boyd who tbh just wasn't up to the mustard and last years player of the year Fraser Aird. He put a transfer request in after getting wind of other teams attention. I did amazing getting over £2m from Monterrey.
Players in: I brought in 15 players on loan and freebies, hopefully they'll gel OK. Filip Kiss is a real one to watch along with CB Mavroudis Bougadis. I managed to snatch Ross Tunbull on a free to provide some competition to Cammy Bell, but I'll think he'll soon cop the ump if he doesn't get into the team.
