Again In Bulgaria

After the career with Ludogorets it's time to manage again in Bulgaria.But this time It's going to be harder ( more interesting ) and long than the last time with Ludogorets....because this time i won't be a manager of Ludogorets Razgrad i'll be at Lokomotiv Gorna and i will try to make them the next Ludogorets ! A little bit of the story..as you know Ludogorets before 5 years ( in 2010 ) was playing in the 2nd divison ( Bulgarian " B " Group )..after that they got promoted and became the first team which becames a champion in the A Group after a promotion...and now they are the best team in Bulgaria winning the league title 4 times in a row and played last season in the UEFA Champions League.So my goal is to make Lokomotiv Gorna the next Ludogorets.Winning a promotion to the A Group and then winning the league title,qualifying for the UEFA Champions League and to make them the best team in Bulgaria.So it will be a long career and i hope to be interesting for you and of course for me ! : D

Lokomotiv Gorna.The Story Begins !

History

FC Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa (Bulgarian: ФК Локомотив Горна Оряховица) is a Bulgarian football club based in Gorna Oryahovitsa, who play in the B Group, the second level of Bulgarian football.

The club was formed in 1932 and has played at its home ground, Lokomotiv Stadium, since 1956. Club colours are black and white. The club's longest consecutive period in the top division was between 1987 and 1995. Lokomotiv's highest league finish in the top division is 8th, which was achieved in the 1989–90, 1990–91 and 1993–94 seasons.
The club was formed in 1932 as RSC - Railway Sports Club. In 1944 RSC was merged with SC Borislav and was renamed RSC Borislav. The team finally became known as Lokomotiv in 1945. Lokomotiv's best performance in the Bulgarian Cup came in 1947 when they lost to eventual winners Levski Sofia in the semi-final, a placement the club would not match again until 1987, when they lost to holders Levski Sofia in the semi-final.

In the 1962–63 season, they won the B Group title, and earned promotion to the A Group for the first time in their history. Following promotion to the A Group, Lokomotiv endured a difficult 1963–64 campaign. The team finished the season last and were relegated back to the B Group after only one season.

In the 1986–87 season, Lokomotiv finished 2nd in the B group and won promotion to the A Group after a 23-year absence. They spent eight consecutive seasons in the top division before relegation in 1995. In 1990–91 season, Lokomotiv's forward Ivaylo Yordanov finished as leading A Group goalscorer with 21 goals and then was sold to Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.

Bulgarian "B" Group

It will be a difficult season.As you can see Ludogorets and Litex reserves are playing in the Bulgarian "B" Group so it's not going to be an easy season also there is Dunav Ruse team which is a team that can also fight for the promotion..we will have also a Lokomotiv Derby against Lokomotiv Mezdra.It's going to be so interesting to see what will happen.

BIGBenfica9-Thanks ! The Bulgarian football league is actually really interesting.There are some really good teams like Ludogorets ( the best club ) Levski,Litex too.You can check them.

Lokomotiv Gorna.Pre-Season And The Start Of The League.

Pre-Season

We played 5 friendly games and won 3 of them ( lost the other two ).As you can see we lost against Akademik Svishtov ( that lost was because that was our first game ) and our second defeat came against Litex ( a team from the top divison in Bulgaria and one of the best team in Bulgaria ).In the other games we played really good and i was sure that if we play like that we can achieve the promotion in this season.

Bulgarian "B" Group

So we started the league with a home victory against Pirin Razlog with 2:1.Then we got our first draw in the league against Botev Galabovo and in the 3rd game our first defeat against Neftochimic 1962 they scored from a penalty.( we played better but ... it's football ).After that in the next 5 games we didn't lost a game got 3 victories against Spartak Pleven,Pomorie one of the best team in our league it was a really good victory and an important one and we won against Ludogorets 2 also with 2:1.....and then our goalkeeper got injured..... actually im using our second goalkeeper cuz our number 1 keeper was injured too you can see that in the last update so for the last 2 games i used our 3rd goalkeeper .....and you can see the results...We actually lost our most important games ( the Lokomotiv Derby and the game against Dunav Ruse ) So after first 10 games the promotion is not that far but it won't be easy.

It was good actually that we were out from the tournament because this season our focus is in the league and our goal is to achieve that promotion to the top divison in Bulgaria so that was a good thing that we go eliminated in the First Round.Maybe next season we can achieve something in the cup too .....

Half Of The Season - Lokomotiv Gorna

Winter Transfer Window

We bought a young left/right attacking winger for free which was a good deal as we needed a player that can do something from the bench.

Bulgarian "B" Group

In our next ten games we played some really good games and lost only one game against Litex 2.We got 1:1 draw against Neftochimic 1962 ( and that is a really good result ) also we managed to beat Oborishte with 1:0 ( they scored an own goal with ten players,good for us ) and our next game is against Pomorie a team that is in 2nd place ( the spot for promotion ) and that means that we have to beat them again and after that we can talk for real promotion.

The game agaisnt Oborishte.What a crazy game is the football.

Award for our right back and one of our best players.

Can Pomorie stop our run ?

League table before the last ten games in the leauge.Can we achieve a promotion ? Can we finish in the first place for direct promotion or we are going to fight for the 2nd place ?

End Of The First Season - Lokomotiv Gorna !

Bulgarian "B" Group

In the last games we played actually good but in the last 5 games .... ( the most important games ) we lost a lot of point...two draws against Septemvri Simitli and Vereya cost us the promotion .....So we will try to win promotion in the next season ......this season we failed to achieve that.

We finished 2 points behind Neftochimic 1962 and that was actually really sad....! Pomorie won the league and they will play in the "A" Group from the next season .Our goal for the next season is not only promotion but also to win the league.( And achieve direct promotion without play-offs )

Season 16/17 - Lokomotiv Gorna !

After the last season fail ( we are still in the "B" Group ) this season we will try to achieve THAT promotion to "A" Group.New players.Another 30 games and lets see what will happen at the end of the season.

Expectations

Transfers

We did some really good transfers but also we sold some good players ( and our best player ).Martin Raynov left the club for free .... cuz he didn't wanted to sign another contract so we lost our best player for free which was bad so bad ... Motherwell bought our central attacking midfielder Antoniy Balakov for 235k and that was a good deal for him but we lost to key players so it was time to sign some good players also.We bought 4 players.We signed with Semih Kahraman from Sivas Bld. for 7,75k and that was actually a really good transfer also we bought Tomislav Pavlov from Vereya for 31.5k and he was the replacement for Balakov and Semih was a replacement for Raynov.We signed also with another 2 players for free right and left back ( if some of the first eleven gets injured ).So we were ready for the start of the season.

Bulgarian "B"Group

In our first ten games for the season in the league we did really well.We won our first 4 games then we got a draw in the Lokomotiv Derby against Lokomotiv Mezdra then we managed to beat Sozopol too with 4:2...and after that game our run ended because we played against Dunav the only team that we can't beat ..last season we lost two times against them and this season again we lost the first game...we were down...and the we did some really bad games like 1:1 with Pirin Razlog and that 7:3 defeat against Oborishte ( Like WHAT ? ) in the last game we got a victory against Ludogorets 2 which was a good result for us and in the next game we have to win again..we are playing against the newly promoted Botev Ihtiman.

The League Table after the first ten games.Dunav is at the top.In the second place is the relegated Pirin Blagoevgrad from the "A"Group and we are in the 3rd place even points with Pirin and on one point from the top.As you can see Neftochimic1962 lost his promotion game and they are still in "B" Group but this season they are like relegation favourites together with Vereya ( last season they stopped us from the promotion ).

Bulgarian Cup

This season in the tournament we managed to qualify for the next round after 4:0 victory against Slivnishki Geroy(team from the "V" Group ) but we got Litex one of the best teams in Bulgaria for the next round.We will try our best but i think that this will be the last game for us in the tournament this seaon.

Dan-Thanks but i don't think that was a good first season ....the goal was to acheive promotion and we were so close .... i hope we can achieve that this season.

Before The Last Ten Games ! - Lokomotiv Gorna !

Winter Break-Time For Friendly Games !

In the winter break we played some really good friendly games against a really good teams.We got 3 draws 1 defeat and 1 victory against Chindia.We also got 2:2 draw agains a really good team Chornomorets Odesa (they played in the Europa League 2 or 3 years ago) and also we got a draw against CSKA Sofia ( now playing in "V" Group but they are still one of the biggest clubs in Bulgaria )

Bulgarian "B" Group

After 20 games we are doing fine.From our last ten games we lost only twice won 6 times and got only 2 draws.That 1:1 against the relegated team Pirin Blagoevgrad was also a really good result.Our next game is against Sozopol and then we will play with our rival Dunav ( the team that we can't beat ).

We are 2nd 3 points behind Dunav and the first place.....but the league is really interesting as you can see Bansko and Oborishte are with 39 points behind us....only 1 point difference from 2nd and 4th place.It's going to be a really interesting promotion fight till the end of the season.

Bulgarian Cup

As i said that was our last game in the Bulgarian Cup for this season ...we lost against Litex with 3:0 away from home and got eliminated from the tournament.Last season we got out in the First Round now we are eliminated in the Second Round i hope we can reach the quarter-finals next season....

End Of Season 16/17 - Lokomotiv Gorna

Bulgarian"B"Group

We did it.We won the league and we are going to play in the "A" Group from the next season.We failed last season but this time we did it.In our last ten games we played some really important games and we managed to get victory from them.For the first time from 2 season we managed to beat Dunav 2:1 and after that game we won again against Pirin Razlog with 4:3 in a crazy game...but the most important game was the last game against Vereya.Dunav was still in the first place in the league and we 2nd...in the last day of the league we managed to beat Vereya 2:0 and Dunav lost against Vihar Slavyanovo(16th place team) managed to get a victory against Dunav and actually they helped us to win the league and the direct promotion.

Also Vereya was relegated ( and last season they fight for promotion now relegated .... ) so .. we won the league and the direct promotion.Dunav will play play-offs ( i hope they can achieve a promotion too they are a really good club and that will make "A" Group more interesting ) Vereya Ludogorets 2 Minyor Radnevo and Vihar Slavyanovo are relegated from the "B" Group.

Stats and Awards

So finally we did it.After 2 seasons in the Bulgarian "B" Group we are going to play in the "A" Group from the next season.For the new season you can expect more interesting games and Interesting transfers ( a lot of transfer we have to be ready for the "A" Group title

First Season In The "A" Group-17/18 Lokomotiv Gorna

Transfer Window !

As you can see we did a lot of transfers and we realesed some players from the club.We bought 2 new central midfielders 3 attacking wingers and 3 strikers and we bought the 2nd goalkeeper of Ludogorets Milan Borjan which was a really good transfer.We were ready for the start of the "A" Group.

Bulgarian "A" Group

Before the start of the league we played one friendly game against Sozopol that finished 3:3 and after that we played our first league game against Montana where we lost 2:0...the "A" Group is not really easy.From 10 games we lost 7 got 2 draws and 1 victory against Beroe.Our next game is against Litex when we played for the first time against them we lost 2:0....now it's time to get a point against them too.Also from our 10 games we won a point against Levski too which was a good result and showed that we can stay in the "A" Group and improve.

We are in the 9th place right now with 5 points from 10 games and with 3 points more from the 10th place Lokomotiv Plovdiv i think that we can survive this season but we have to win points in the games against the teams from the bottom half of the table it's not going to be easy.

Bulgarian Cup

We are out again from the tournament and again in the First Round after a defeat against Pirin Razlog with 1:0.Our focus is the league but we were supposed atleast to reach the Second Round of the tournament.

We got only 1 draw ( 1 point ) from 6 games ... that is really bad and i don't know how we can avoid the relegation.We are playing just bad..

The next 5 games that will decide everything.I don't know how i can get 7 points from 5 games ...this is the end i think and from the next season maybe new club ?

You can see the last 10 games before leaving the club actually i was fired.The goal was to win 7 points from 5 games in the league i i've won 6 points and lost the final game against Slavia with 1:0 that was the end of the carreer with Lokomotiv Gorna and now i will look for another club.

New Club New Goals !

After Lokomotiv Gorna im here as the new manager of Rochdale.They are playing in SkyBet League 1 for now and our goal will be to reach Championship and after some transfers to play in the Premier League.It will be really difficult challenge but why not ?

The Club

Thanks Dan !! I failed at Lokomotiv Gorna ... my goal was to make them the next Ludogorets but ... i failed so i hope things will be better in Rochdale [ The goal-to win promotions and reach the Premier League ]

I'M BACK ! Start Of The New Season-Rochdale !

Im back after a long break.I wasn't able to update the story or to play but finally im back ! So first things first .... i was like lost in Rochdale....In the first games things were difficult but i think that this team can achieve so much..so lets the journey begins.... !

The Players

I've played 20 games and i can things are pretty good for now.You can see the players and the key players for Rochdale right now are Diba he is our number 1 goalkeeper Andy Cannon,Brannagan and Kwame Thomas are the key players in our attacking phase.Kwame Thomas scored 10 goals from 20 games and became our number 1 striker which is a really good thing if we want to achieve promotions etc..

So after 20 games we have 10 wins 6 defeats and 4 draws.In the second half of the season we have to improve our game and i think we can achieve direct promotion finishing 2nd ( why not 1st ) From first 20 games we lost some really easy games like against Portsmouth and Coventry..so the goal for the 2nd half of the season will be to improve our game in the league and achieve that promotion to the Championship..where i have some interesting transfer plans but this can wait for now...

In the last season Rochdale finished 18th .... exactly when i was appointed as a manager of the club....and i decided that even that bad season that team can be strong and competitive in every league.So i decided that the goal is to achieve a promotion ( every season ).Difficult goal to achieve but for now we are on the right way.Currently on the 5th place with 34 and still half of the season to play.If we beat the teams from top 4 im sure that we will be able to achieve the promotion for the Championship this season .

Fa Cup

In the tournamets we are doing fine.We are still playing in the Fa Cup and we are going to face the Premier League team Southampton.It won't be an easy game but we faced a team from the Premier League earlier ... and we lost so this time we will be ready to play against Southampton. ( For that defeat u will learn more in "Capital One Cup " part )

Capital One Cup

After eliminating Huddersfield on penalties we played against Sunderland.We lost the game 1-4 but alteast we scored a goal and showed that we can fight ... ( maybe

) " We lost the game but won the hearts ' kinda thing and i was happy actually how we played we played attacking football but the class of Sunderland won the game for them .They scored all their chances while we missed all of our chances that was the difference and that decided the result of the game.But like i said we will be ready for Southampton in the FA Cup.

Johnstone Paint Trophy

I was sitting and thinking how we can win a trophy in my first season in Rochdale...but of course in the end Barnsley team came and destroyed that dream...we played really good in every game till the Semi-Finals where we got destroyed yeah destroyed " now you will say that we lost with 1 goal but ... we played like a team that plays football for the first time....20 possesion 2 shots for us and they got like 30 ? That was the worst game for us and that was a thing that we have to change.... ( if we want to achieve something we have to play at 100% in every game not like .." no problem it's a cup game " or " no problem we will win it next season " We have to change that !

Thanks Dan ! Right now we are fighting for direct promotion...not for the play-offs cuz i think that if we reach the play-offs it will be really difficult ..So HARD WORK !!

QUICK UPDATE !

Things are getting better and better !! - Rochdale.

All Games !!-Quick Update !

That was just perfect for us.From 10 games in the league we won 7 lost 2 and draw only 1 game.We started really well to the 2nd part of the season after 4 victories in a row.As you can see we managed to eliminate Southampton from the FA Cup ....yeah thats right we eliminated the Premier League side Southampton after 2:1 victory at home.Afer that game we were too tired but we had a game against Hull where we lost against them with 3:2 ( not because we are weak .. but we were tired afer the game from the FA Cup. ) So we got MK Dons in the next game we got the victory with 2:0 then we did a 0:0 draw with Luton ... ( i don't know why but we always fail against them ) and then we won the biggest game for us ... the game against Shrewsbury with 3:1 That was just great.For the FA Cup game we played against Wigan and lost with 2:0...the FA Cup fairytale was over for this season....and we were sure that this is not something important for us this season.So we welcomed Leyton Orient and after a difficult battle we managed to get the 3 points from them.....and in the next week we lost against Fleetwood Town damn .... how we can beat the 2nd Shrewsbury ( they were 2nd when they played against us ) but we lose against the 23rd.....You can see also our next 3 games we have 1 away game and we will play 2 games at our stadium which is a good thing... for our fans

Promotion Secured-We are in the Championship ! - Rochdale.

We will play in the Championship from the next season as we managed to secure the promotion from League 1 to Championship.It will be difficult but im sure we can achieve promotion from the Championship too...so let's we are ready for the challenge.

From the last 16 games we managed to win 8 of them,finished 2 games as draw and lost 6 games.The important game was against Barnsley cuz before the game they were in the 2nd place but with that victory we managed to secure the promotion which was really awesome.So we are ready for the next season !!!!

Charlton won the league ...as we were runners-up after that victory against Barnsley.The season was really good ( im talking about all the teams and the games ) as you can see the differences are not that big between the teams.Swindon,Bury( our rivals ) ,Fleetwood and Yeovil were relegated from League 1 to League 2 which is not good cuz....Yeovil is a really good team that deserves to be in the Championship.

WE ARE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIIIIIP !!!!

Pre-Season and The First 20 Games Of The Season ! - Rochdale.

Transfer Window

So the transfer window started and i was planing to buy some really good palyers ( class players ) but then i saw that we don't have MONEY....cuz we are Rochdale ... So i managed to buy one really good player ( good for League 1 and Championship ) but still we bought him ..a Left Attacking Midfielder from RC Strasbourg and also we managed to sign with 2 free agents a goalkeeper ( Bertaud ) and a central defender ( Denti ) and to be honest with that budget that was a really good transfer window.

Pre-Season

We played 4 friendly games and we managed to win 3 of them and got 1 draw against Crewe.I was sure that we can achieve something in the Championship after the pre-season because that pre-season was good ( even that we didn't faced BIG TEAMS ) we did good.We played good !

Championship

The season started and we started really well 2 victories in the first 2 games againts Brentford and Bristol was awesome start of the season...but after our first defeat against Leeds we played some bad games and we stop the bad run against Leicester City that game was amazing....first because we were playing against Leicester City and second because we played like Barcelona haha ...so we won the 3 points against them then we got another victory and again a bad run .....so the point is that WE CAN BEAT EVERY TEAM but we are not playing good in every game...we have to change that and in the next games we have to push for the promotion... ( play-offs i think ) .

Championship League Table.

Capital One Cup

Rochdale is out again from the Capital One Cup ...but maybe it's for good ... we can focus in the league.

I will decline because i want to achieve something with Rochdale...and im sure that Rochdale can win a promotion and play in the Premier League.
