Season preview saw us and Campobasso way beyond the rest of the pack, so survival was the one and only goal. I had problems building a solid defensive tactic, so after 1 draw and 4 losses with only scoring 2 goals (one free-kick, on own-goal) and litterally no goalscoring chances i changed my approach to a more offensive tactic and we got better results.
Still struggled to score goals („Highlight“ one run with 7 games without scoring) and had in the end the second worst offense of the league (our main striker scored only 5 league goals, 4 of them in the last 12 games), but we survied.
- Salvatore Ciulla: Maybe not that surprising because of my weak offense. My goalkeeper was the best player. He saves us several times. The good thing is: He's young and has a lot of potential. The bad thing (besides his height and his strength): He has the feeling, he has outgrown the club already and he wanted to leave.
The club has good finances and we are making money, so there are already some improvements to training and youth facilities (much needed). And I could make my National C Licence.
Advertised as as “golden generation” before and on the day on the intake I am underwhelmed. Two best players have 4 stars, not the best personalities and all are way of first team level. In the past I had in this early seasons players I could use immediately. I don't thin I can use one of them for 2 seasons.
Carlo Di Mambro (01A): wants to be a pressing forward. I don't think so with this work rate, bravery... Don't know what i'll do with him, yet.
Federico Angeluzzi (01B): Solid ball-winning midfielder, but needs to improve strength.
Giovanni Perna (01C): Low determination but besides from that a solid left-back for my level. If he gains 2 points in some of the important attributes he can help me.
Another battle for survival and I think it will be heard. 4 players (3 first-teamers, one important rotation option) have announced to retire. I try to convince them, but I don't think, everyone will stay. It will be hard to replace them.

Season preview didn't give any hope for surviving after loosing 4 players to retirement. The lack of midfielders and having several strikers „forced“ me to change formation from a 4-5-1 to a 4-4-2. That was a great decision. Much better in the offense and still solid in the back (besides some thrashings from the 3 top teams).
At the end we participated even in the promotion playoffs (but half the league does). Even a good chance to survive the first round. Had an early lead, but our opponent scored the equalizer in the final minutes of the game and rules have it, that the home team (= better team in the regular season) goes trough if the game ends with a draw.
Salvatore Ciulla: The goalkeeper was again one of our best players. 18 clean sheets (a new team record), twice as much as in the season before. But the season started not good. He was moaning, he wanted to leave to a bigger club (only one offer from a belgian amateur (!!) team, which wanted us to pay a big chunk of his wages). Skipped training several times. Made the whole squad angry about me. But with time he calmed down. At the end he even extended his contract.
Luigi Fontana: Because of the new system, he became part of the starting 11. After 0 goals in the season before, the striker scored 11 times in the league. Great partnership with our other striker Federico Cardella.
Simone Beccaceci: My assistant ranks him as the best player at the club (and the only good wide player). He had a lot of bad games, but some good ones. Wants to leave to a bigger club, now. Would like to keep him, since he's one of a few players with good determination left. But I need to find a new role for him since I am thinking about changing my system to a 4-3-3 because we have so many strikers.
Finances are a little bit shaky now. The money is gone. But I could make two more licences (up to National A) and the improvements to training and youth are finished (up to Adequate & Below Average).
A lot better than in the first season. Problem is determination (hope a new head of youth development which I hired at the end of the season will improve things in this direction).
Alessandro Colella (02A): One more for the long list of strikers in this club. Played him a few times as a left winger since I have only one player for this position at the whole club. Except for crossing he has the attributes for that. Let's see what we do next season. He'll be part of the 1st team.
Bruno Redjepi (02B): Don't play an attacking mid, yet. But maybe that will change. Another option for left wing (as an inside forward) or center mid. His weak dribbling and passing is a problem in both cases.
Enrico Pace (02C): Since I have not many options at right-back he should get some games next season. Besides from some mentals, he could be a solid defensive option. And I hope he'll honor his name and will get more pace.
Dario Orlando (02D): Is only in this list because my staff rates him with 4.5 stars potential. I can't use him, yet and I am skeptical if he'll get there. Is defensive not good enough for this level as full-back.
One other thing: We lost our first really young player. Some 15 year old guy was snapped up by local powerhouse Lazio. Will keep him an eye on him after he has appeared in the game and hope he becomes a good player and will be transferred for big money one day in the not so distant future.
I have 3 good strikers at my club and 3 more with a lot of potential and a level close to the first team. One is 28, all others are between 17 and 22. So I am thinking about going with 3 strikers, maybe a 4-3-3, but the problem in this case would be building the midfield with my players.
Have one great DM (but without a decent backup), one good right midfielder (with some youngsters as backup), one left midfielder (who was decent last season with 9 assists, but without backup) and one very solid playmaker (without any weaknesses) in center mid.
So the alternative is staying with a 4-4-2 and re-train some strikers to wingers. A lot to do and to experiment in pre-season.
And of course: At the moment I see last season as an exception and are thinking about another relegation battle.
FS_Kazushi
A relegation was predicted and again we had nothing to do with that. 12th place might look a little bit worse than the season before, but i think we improved. We scored 12 goals more (and had so many more good chances) and conceded only 5 goals more. We were competitive in every match for the first – even against the big dogs.
A lot of our losses were 0:1, some 0:0 draws and in all this games we were better, but didn't manage to break down our opponents defense (or score with the chances we had, really bad chance conversion). That's still a struggle sometimes, especially with most of the teams playing with 5 in the back and defensive.
We experimented a lot with our tactics and had a great flexibility. Played our old 4-4-2, but (especially at home) a lot of times 4-3-3 and 3-4-3 to make use of the many strikers in our squad. Sometimes we played 5-3-2 if we wanted to keep a lead, but since our wing-back are not that good, it's no tactic we used for a whole game.
Luigi Fontana: Second season in row the best goalscorer in the club and even second best in the league, but...
Fabio Fiori: … our new striker is this newgen who was created in the season before I joined the club. His quality and potential was the main reason I created a 4-3-3-formation. In the first half of the season he was only striker No. 3 and was on the bench in the 4-4-2, but at the end he became our main striker (Fan favourite Federico Cardella finds himself sometimes on the bench now). His finishing is not great, but look at these physicals. With his determination he could go a long way, but he wants to leave (and I promised him to accept reasonable bids). I hope no club will pay the agreed fee, since most clubs at this level can't.
Enrico Pace (02C) & Alessandro Colella (02A): Not “key players” in the regular since, but the first two self-produced youngsters featuring in the first team on a regular basic in this save, so I wanted to highlight them. Pace played so many games because all our right-backs are shit, former striker Colella was re-trained as a left midfielder (is much easier and better to do on this version of FM)
Not so good finances anymore. First time in debt at the end of the season, but the loss was smaller than in the year before and I think we can get it down to like losing 100k per season. At the moment no upgrading of facilities because of this, but I bagged two more coaching licenses (and are studying for Continental A).
Our new head of youth development delivered. That's what you can call a golden generation.
Emanuele Esposito (03A): Much needed central defender since we are missing good players in that position and our captain Thiago Cazé is declining so fast that he lost his place in the first team at the end of the season. Big, decent in all important areas, left-footed (which I don't have yet). I can image him getting game time in the first team next season already.
Francesco Indelicato (03B): Nice name and with goalkeeper another position I don't mind having a good prospect. Our first team goalkeeper Salvatore Ciulla is young, but is not developing very good (I think because of his abysmal determination). This youngster has bad first touch and passing (no sweeper keeper) and must develop his physical and become taller, but he could take over in a few years
Mirco Epifani (03C): only one with bad determination from the new 5-star-potential-player, but again: a position I don't mind having a new player, and he's versatile in midfield already. Weak passing is a problem and I don't know yet, in which direction i'll go with him.
Fabio Petroni (03D): Another striker for our big collection. Fast, good dribbling, decent heading, but the trait shoots from distance combined with long shots 1 is something we need to address in training.
Abdelilah Benali (03E): I am unsure what to do with him yet. For the right wing his acceleration and his crossing are letting him down. Maybe someone has a suggestion where he could play?
Something else: Our U18 won the youth title and our big neighbors (this time AS Roma and not Lazio) poached two 15 year old players.
Another midfield finish is the target and giving more youngsters game time to develop them.
FS_Kazushi
We got moved from Serie C Girone C to Serie C Girone B, which is much tougher. In Girone C for example we were one of the better physical teams, in Girone C we were one of the worst. And we started with 3 relegated teams from Serie B (only 1 in Girone C) and only 2 promoted teams (4 in Girone C).
So we were predicted 18th and survival was again the goal, which we did – but not without some struggling (especially finding a good new tactic for this season). Biggest problem: Everyone seems to be playing defensive. Scoring goals was so hard.
It looks like we are not really progressing, yet, but last time I did this challenge (in portugal) it took me 8 seasons to get promoted (and 23 to become champion). Baby steps...
Fabio Fiori: We were really struggling to convert chances, but he did it enough: 16 goals in total, even top goalscorer of this (very defensive minded) league.
Even with the not very helpful finances section and the limited possibilities to do something I'll try always on FM to finishes seasons without a financial loss (except if there's money in the bank). I failed miserable in this part. I reduced the coaching stuff, parted ways with several players and reduced in my calculation the spending to a sum where they should match the income (or we should even earn some money. But for some reason (maybe because of many more popular teams in Girone B compared to C?) we had less tv games and 340k less tv money compared to all the seasons before. So we finished with 206k loss for the season. Will reduce the spending even more.
So no upgrade to our bad facilities, but I have the Continental A Licence now.
Not the best intake. Didn't sign that many, only 2 players are worth mentioning:
Angelo Polverini (04A): Another central defender, a position I need depth. Emanuele Esposito (03A) from last year's intake is a first team starter already. He's far from that. Bad determination is a problem and some other areas need to improve.
Vincenzo Radicetti (04B): Like in the season before a goalkeeper is the second best intake. Don't really need one again. Let's see how he'll progress.
Hope we can get one or two additional youngsters first team ready and I would love to finish a little bit higher up the table. But the main goals is: reducing some more costs before our board needs to invest money. I want to keep this club financially stable by myself and without the “outside money fm trick”.

Back in Girone C. Finished with our best points total, yet. Some really pleasing performances. In the playoffs an early red card after 4 minutes killed us. Lost 2:1 in the end.
Still, the problem that our team is on every position worse than most of the other teams in the league and it's hard to make progress. Because no one is coming after our prospects (never had that in a youth challenge after 5 years), I am thinking that their potential is limited.
Fabio Fiori: Again the star of the team and best goalscorer. Especially in the Coppa Italia he was on fire: 7 goals in the 4 matches, nearly made it to the proper first round, but Serie A team Sassuolo was a too big task (a shame because for the 1st round there are 500k participation money).
Alessandro Colella (02A): Our former striker is as a left mid a first team regular. Decent number of assists and goals.
Emanuele Esposito (03A): 14 yellow cards, so was subbed off a little bit to often, but a big presence in defense. Hope he'll improve a lot.
Sorted the finances for this season, so we made only a small loss of 25k. But for reasons I can't explain we got hit with a tax bill of 150k. That sucks. Let a lot of contracts running out and try it with an even younger team next season, but our training facilities got downgraded and I don't know at the moment how we can improve things here.
Mediocre intake, most promising players are...
Mario Mone (05A): I love big target men, don't play with one yet (or even high crosses), but he looks promising.
Andrea Lasalandra (05B): Decent enough full-back to help us at least as a back-up in the not so distant future.
The goals: find some money to improve the facilities. Reduce the number of players at the club. Improve the players. Get in the play-offs again.
FS_Kazushi
Wow, what a season. Made some tweaks to the tactic (but keeping the 4-4-2 formation) and we had some great performances. So much better in offense (btw most of it before the 20.2 patch was released) and finished 4th – the best ever league position by far. And the playoffs were a completely new story.
Got directly in the 2nd round, made it through with a draw because we were the better team after regular season. Great performances in the 3rd round and the quarter final (over two legs each). After that a real nailbiter in the semi finale:
First leg, away game: 2:0 lead after 32 minutes, we played great, were the better team, than our opponent scored twice in one minute in the second half. 2:2 in the end, I was still confident.
Second leg, home game 1:0 lead after 30 minutes, equalizer after 80 minutes, but we immediately got the lead again. I was already celebrating the finale but after 90+5 minutes we conceded the 2:2.
penalties: we scored the first, missed the second and the third and I thought it's over, but my keeper saved their third and fourth and sixth penalty. FINAL!
Final, only one game against Potenza Calcio, finished above them, won against them during the season, so I was optimistic. Nothing happened. 0:0, penalties again. And again each team missed 2 of the 5, both teams scored the sixth, they missed the seventh. PROMOTED!
Never thought that would happen this season. Delighted!
Fabio Fiori: He was a machine. Shattered all club records. Most goals, most assists, most player of the match awards, highest average rating
Alessandro Colella (02A): Was again a weapon on the left side
Carmine Pozzi (03F): Surprise of the season. Played his first senior games at the end of the 5th season during an injury crisis and impressed me. After a promotion to the first team during pre-season, he was so good that he became a regular in the center of midfield. Was not that high rated at his intake, has some weak areas, but was solid in every game.
Francesco Indelicato (03B): I changed my goalkeeper, Ciulla was decent, but didn't develop. Indelicato hat weaker attributes at the beginning of the season, but a high potential. Improved a lot, could be our main keeper for some years.
The promotion shattered my finances because of 450k bonus-payout to the players. Without that I would be out of the red again. Unfortunately I made a big mistake. Never thought that I would get promoted so I didn't renew some contracts early enough. During the playoffs I was so drawn in the games that I totally forgot. Now these players want a lot more money, which I can' afford. I hope I can keep them on a month-to-month-contract with their old salaries as long as possible.
With Enrico Pace I sold my first player for real money. 145K is a good transfer fee and in addition we'll get 25% of his next transfer fee.
Not everything can be good. Bad intake, not one player will make it here. Kept only one and just for the sake of it.
Survival is the goal, going down again would be a blow, especially if we are forced to renew contracts. But I am optimistic.
After loosing Enrico Pace last winter and our main left back at the end of this season, we are short on full-backs. Because I have still a lot of strikers at my club, I think i'll change the formation from 4-4-2 to a 3-4-3, but need to try that in pre-season.
Still the hope to find some money to improve the facilities, but don't know yet how the finances are in this league (with attendance we can't earn that much more, because our stadium was close to full most games in Serie C already; seems like prize money is only for the Top-3).

Because of my lack of full-backs I changed the main formation to a 3-4-3 and build a new tactic around that. We had big defensive problems because of that (conceded most goals in the league), but overall it worked well because of our offense (scored most goals in the league). Spectacle in every game.
Important was aggression and that showed in the disciplinary lists. We shattered the Serie B season records for most yellow cards – in January!!!
At the end we were never close to the relegation zone. So a great mid-table-position in our first season in Serie B.
Fabio Fiori: He was the main man again. The best goalscorer at the club, most assists in the whole league, one of the best players of the league
Fabio Petroni (03D): Was not far behind Fiori in goalscoring and average rating.
Francesco Indelicato (03B): May be surprising that in a season where we conceded the most goals in the league the goalkeeper is one of the key players (and for me even my best player of the season), but he was a life insurance. An average rating over 7 for a goalkeeper who conceded more than 70 goals is imho exceptional. He won us several games (for example here with an 8.5 rating), most saves parried, most saves held in the whole league. At the end he won the trophy for the best goalkeeper in the league (again: as the keeper with the most goals conceded)
Serie B helped us get our finances in order. We are out of the red, now, but it was close, because of two things. The squad gets a big bonus and the Italian tax system is a pain in the ass (I thought it's favorable for footballers, that's because CR7 is playing here). If I understand everything correctly clubs must pay taxes for 500k more than you earned. So if you earn nothing, you'll still pay taxes as if you've earned 500k. So we made a million, but payed taxes for a calculated profit of 1.5 million. So 475k of our money were gone. Club didn't want to invest anything in our shitty training facilities unfortunately.
Btw: My reputation is growing. Big local rivals Lazio and AS Roma wanted to poach me, but of course I said no to the chance of earning millions, spending millions on the transfer market and competing for Serie A title.
After the useless intake from last year at least one with 3 useful players.
Giuseppe Romani (07A): Can use a center mid always, especially a ball winning midfielder. Love his mentals. His technicals are meh, but that's the case with most of my players.
Hiromu Tanaka (07B): A dream comes true A japanese-north-korean-player with high potential and decent attributes. Unfortunately he's a goalkeeper, so plays in the one position where I think we are sorted for years.
Eros Ciuffetti (07C): Another center mid, again with mentals I like.
As you can see, no useful wide players in this intake again. Our options are getting limited.
I think it will be harder than the first one. With the worst team in most of the technicals attributes, but decent in mental and physical areas, we'll keep an aggressive approach for sure, but should we do what we did the first year and hope, that we'll score enough goals to survive again? The lack of quality in defense and 3 great strikers make this the obvious way. But is it the best?
Need to renew some contracts, but I am optimistic that we can earn money even with some higher salaries. Maybe there's at the end some money for a small improvement of our training facilities? You're allowed to hope...
FS_Kazushi
You might think: Okay 13th place again, decent gap to the relegation places, that was an easy season. No, it was not.
We started really great: 2 wins, one draw, top of the table and then it happened: Nothing worked anymore for a full game. We had so many freak games, highlight was this one:
A 3:0 lead after 5 minutes, 4:0 after 20 minutes, and we lost 4:6 with 2 goals in injury time.
A few weeks later our best goalscorer in past years Fabio Fiori had a major injury, and we lost game after game.
In the winter, I had enough. So spectacular the 3-4-3 was, we needed to get a solid defense again. I changed to 4 in the back, one defensive mid in front of them and the new 4-3-3 was much more solid. We scored less, but we conceded a lot less. A win here, a draw there, we crawled out of the relegation places. Very slowly, because there was a big gap, but we did it
Mario Mone (05A): With Fabio Fiori out injured, he became our main goalscorer – and our first national player on senior level (for Albania). I think he has a great future
Francesco Indelicato (03B): Voted best goalkeeper in the whole league again. Do I need to say more?
Maurizio Cenci: A total disgrace that he is not in our best eleven of the season. Putting him from central midfield back to defensive mid was the key for our better second half of the season.
Something great happened. We have still not much money (but finances are solid). So I tried since years to get an affiliate club, who wants to share training grounds with us. And it finally happened. We are partnering with amateur club Cynthia. For just 16k a year we can use their training ground. And they are GOOD! We've good training facilities for the near future. My board was so happy seeing their grounds that they improved our youth facilities, the first facility-upgrade since 6 (!) years.
Okayish intake, some useful players, but need to work on some personalities and would have preferred other positions.
Giulio Bizzaglia (08A): We can start a collection of center mids, but I don't see the potential to re-train him to a full-back
Riccardo Coco (08B): a central defender is very helpful, because it's a position where I want to get rid of some backup players without potential. Unfortunately very slow (and needs to improve his tackling)
Massimiliano Bilotta (08C): another central defender. I we can fix his determination through mentoring he could even be the more helpful one
Let's see if the massive upgrade of the training facilities from Below Average to Good, from 1.5 stars to 3 stars, will do something for us. The goal is to improve players and be in mid-table again (without a nerve-wrecking relegation battle for most of the season)
FS_Kazushi
Instead of the usual update just a quick season review, because I am on holiday the next 3 weeks and don't have the time, yet and after that I won't remember enough for an update in detail.
We made it into the first round of the italian cup for the first time and earned more than 600k because of that. Can finally improve something. And we are planning to build a new stadium.
League was solid, youth intake is okay. Santi Tacconi (09A) is the best one. Since we are not using a left mid at the moment, I'll retrain him as a right back (a position where we only have one player with potential at the moment).
Next update we'll be mid january at the earliest. Happy holidays and a good start to the next year to everyone.

Back after a break and with a very successful season, the highest ranking in the club history. The promotion play-offs would have been possible, but a bad run at the end of the season (3 losses, 1 draw from the last 4 games without scoring a single goal) saw us drop from 6th to 9th.
We are much more solid in the back, now. „Only“ 44 goals against us (compared to 59 last year) is by far the best we had in Serie B. Some little tweaks in our tactic and some player improvement played a big role there.
Mario Mone (05A): Again our best goalscorer. Set a record for highest average rating for our club. Is one of the few players who could play for other teams in this league and that concerns me. Hope no one comes in with a big bid for him (has a release clause but only for clubs in a higher league, but they are not interested in him, yet).
Andrea Lasalandra (05B): A big reason we conceded fewer goals. He has not the great attributes for a defender, but he wins a lot of times the ball back. Was even voted the best defender in the whole league.
We are building a new stadium. That's a good thing, because we are sold out or close to sold out every week. And the stadium sponsorship could bring a lot of money in. But the next 2 years will be hard. After I straightened the finances, the monthly interest will put us back in the red again next season and even deeper into debt the year after that. So no further investments for 2 years. 2032 the stadium sponsorship money should turn the ship around. I hope that's the way it works.
Not an intake to celebrate. Let's see if one of them will make it into the first team
Guglielmo Cerasaro (10A): The best one. The problem is: I am not playing with wingers at the moment and it doesn't look like this will change the next few years. So I need to re-train him. Could become a right-back, because marking and tackling are solid already, and he would be one of 2 players who could challenge Andrea Lasalandra (05B) for his first-team-spot in the next few seasons.
Mirko Anselmi (10B): gives us a little more squad depth in central defend. But with some bad technicals and mentals I can't imagine him becoming a first team regular anytime.
Simone De Cillis (10C): Since I am playing with 3 strikers at the moment he could become useful if we use that formation the next years.
I don't have really a big target. Players need to improve. It would be nice to get in the promotion play-offs for the first time – just to show progress, but I would take any position out of the drop zone. Because: If I compare players I am still the worst team in this league.
FS_Kazushi
Strong first half of the season, disappointing second half. It's still a problem that we are not getting good players, so we don't make that much progress.
But we had a nice cup run, which was fun.
Mario Mone (05A): Again our best goalscorer. Only player I think I could lose because he's good enough to be interesting for other clubs. Try to give him a new contract in the summer.
Giuseppe Romani (07A): Had his best season yet and is on the way of becoming one of the few players who can bring this club forward. Still needs to improve his tackling and I need to find a way that he gets fewer yellow cards. 18 in 31 league games is a little bit too much.
The cup run saved us, so we didn't fall too deep into depth (because of paying back the big loan for the stadium). If we can't repeat such a cup run, next season will see us fall deep into the red numbers. But I hope that 2032 the stadium sponsorship money comes in and sorts that out.
Another really bad intake. This time there's not one player I think will have a promising future at the club, so I don't even bother with presenting them here.
Don't know if it has to do with the club located in the busy Roma area and all the bigger clubs snatching up the best youngsters (and even 3 to 5 14 year olds every season from our youth ranks, too – but most of the time not very good ones). Don't know what I can do to change that. I've the best head of youth development I can find, board doesn't want to upgrade anything.
At least I don't need to worry with other clubs poaching my players. I did several versions of this challenge and I had fewer attempts from other clubs poaching a player of mine in 11 seasons than in every other attempt at this challenge in the first 2 seasons.
I just copy and paste the text from last season (with some small adjustments): I don't have a big target. Players need to improve. It would be nice to get in the promotion play-offs for the first time – just to show progress, but I would take any position out of the drop zone. Because: If I compare players I am still one of the worst teams in this league.

How many 2:0 leads can a team throw away? 8 could be some kind of record. We are getting problems if we are forced to use substitutes and so the last 20 to 30 minutes are always a gamble.
But we had another solid mid-table-finish. No progress? Hmm... Maybe. I experimented with tactics and I think I found a formation which makes us much more solid in the back. Used it in the last 9 games, lost only one of them:
Mario Mone (05A): 5th season in the row the best striker. He is our life insurance and still the only player who could play for better clubs.
Fabio Petroni (03D): Our second striker had his best season since years. 14 goals are good, but the 11 assists are showing his value for the team.
For the first time in this save the chairman changed. But the new one came from inside the club, didn't want to invest any money and just took another bank loan. We are deep in debt because of the monthly repayment big loan for our new stadium. But we are moving into that stadium now. That should sort the finances out, if the promised stadium sponsorship money of 7.5 million euros will be paid.
Second season in a row we have an intake without any player worth presenting here. I took a few in for the numbers, but I am getting concerned. Especially compared to the bad quality of players we have at the club we should get some with 5 star potential...
Hope the new tactic will help us make some slow progress. Still dreaming from my first Top-8-finish, still fearing getting in a relegation battle.

Best season so far. Finally, we mad this 8th place and got in the promotion playoffs. Had no chance there, but just participating once is a sign of progress. The new tactic I established at the end of last season got some minor tweaks and worked very good.
Mario Mone (05A): Like every year the best striker, but this season was a standout. 22 goals, the best goalscorer in the league.
Maurizio Cenci: With 29 my oldest player and had his best season since a long time. The new formation with two defensive mids helps him in his deep-lying playmaker role.
Hiromu Tanaka (07B): Our new first-choice goalkeeper. After a season out on loan I chose to promote him and he repayed me. He had a few bad games, but he improves. Voted second best goalkeeper in the league and I hope he will my number one for years to come.
We didn't get the promised stadium sponsorship money. Don't know if there's a bug (will post a report) or if that got canceled (was no message). So we have some financial problems. Luckily we had many clauses we could sell from the 100s of youth players the likes of Lazio, Roma, Frosinone and even clubs like Robur Siena are snatching up from our U16 every year. But next season will be a catastrophe.
A reason for that, is this. In the third season in a row, I don't present you any players here, because we had such a bad intake. Again: No players has more than 3 stars potential. I changed my Head Of Youth Development but that didn't help. Can't upgrade anything because the board will not allow it.
At the moment I am little bit frustrated, because I am bleeding dry without new players. It's the first time ever doing this challenge, even the first time ever playing FM that I get so many bad intakes in a row.
I don't know if it's because of my good player all getting snatched up in younger years (look at this one: 2 stars current, 4.5 stars potential ability – he's first-team-ready at the age of 15).
Don't know what to expect. Another 8th place would be great, but with my squad getting smaller, no new players coming in, no money in the bank and every injury hurting is really bad, everything could happen.
