Palace beating Sunderland in the late KO.

Its also the day's highest scoring match. With 3.

The three promoted teams actually look like quite decent units. Maybe them all being fucked isn't as foregone a conclusion as we thought...

Fantastic

F365's match report for today was Newcastle won but it doesn't count because I wanted to say they were rubbish and Pardew is clueless, and to act extremely smug. This game was horrendously one sided, Newcastle murdered Fulham for most of the game. 24 shots to 3.
F365's main evidence that Newcastle are awful and lucky, is that Newcastle had one shot on target in the previous two games, which has been mentioned several times over the past week. Newcastle had 9 shots on target today. Nine. 50% more than anyone else. I think it's a totally meaningless stat, but I wonder how many times it will be highlighted in match reports this week.
In other news West Ham have only had one shot on target in their past two games. CRISIS,MELTDOWN,TURMOIL!

Probably my game of the season so far.

Yep, maybe - but I keep wondering who the relegation candidates are apart from the three promoted teams? Sunderland for sure......but apart from that you'd think others who'd normally be 'possibles' like Norwich, Fulham, Southampton etc should be okay. It's a tough one.

The "1 shot in 2 games" stat was notable because, before today, it was the league's lowest and we rarely looked like troubling keepers in the first two matches. It may have worked well in previews but it only really would've worked if we had failed to create much.
Today, we could well have won by 3/4-0 if we'd taken some more of our chances. That one shot stat is not really a stat that could be used to beat us with on this occasion. Though it could be worth pointing out to AP we performed better after Shola was hauled off.
I'd be more worried if I was a Fulham fan tbh - despite all these big new signings something there is not working.
The common consensus pre-season was that Sunderland and Stoke were likeliest to be down there with the three promoted clubs. West Brom have also been mentioned as an outside bet by several but I'd be surprised if they went down.
I'd be surprised if Norwich and Southampton are down there but then QPR know a thing or two about spending big for no reward.

Looked a totally different side and Ben Arfa was class.

It's hardly a one way thing - Spurs fans have been dishing it out over the past few weeks due to our awful transfer window - and Champions League football is about all we have over them at the moment.

Definitely not fucking me.

Expected, pretty rubbish though. Kagawa not even on the bench.

Man United: De Gea, Jones, Vidic, Rio, Evra, Cleverley, Carrick, Giggs, Young, Welbeck, RVP.
Starting Young, great. And no Kagawa.
