It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.
Extracting the file will take a while, but it shouldn't take the hours and hours that the program extracting will sometimes say it will. To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Still don't get how i've probably updated hundreds of faces myself and they show up in game without any problems.
Will Hughes is the only image this has happened with, the others have changed straight away with no problems.

It's only less than two months away probably, so not too long to wait, I hope.
Possibly because he is in the game already from SI's official cut-outs which means that the game finds that image and uses it rather than checking the MP folder. Either way, it's a problem solved

Ok so in my graphics folder in documents/si/football manager 2013/graphics/pictures
The person folder opens to one folder Megapack 5.0 containing 117,685 items (above)
this is the seperate sortitoutsi folder which contains icon faces aswell as faces??
Icon faces is 3,162 items --- Faces folder is 2,354 items
Im a little bit confused as to why these are not in one folder.
Please help! Also When downloading the updates for the Megapack just copy over existing files?

After downloading any updates just cut & paste all the contents of the folder into your Megapack folder and overwrite any of the existing files when prompted. Just remember to download and apply the updates in the correct order.
The Icon Faces will be in a different folder and work in exactly the same way as the Cut-Out Faces Megapack. As you only have 3,162 items in there, you have not downloaded the full pack as there should be the same amount of items as your main Megapack.
Not sure why there is another Faces folder in there! Did you download it from this site? Or you may have unzipped/moved it to the incorrect location by accident. I have a strong feeling that this is Update pack 5.8 as this contained 2,354 images.

Is there just a blank space where his picture is? If so;
Search your Megapack folder to see if his picture is in there (UID - 29086008).
If his picture is not there just type his UID in here and just paste it in your Megapack folder.

If I'm right in thinking I'll download all updates then not apply the configuration file as already in there is the current one. So just cut and paste the photos into the current person folder.

You also need to tick/untick the respective tickboxes in the preferences, as clearly indicated in the opening post of this thread and in the readme.

Please also make sure you have the full megapack, i.e. over 131,500 images and a config.xml file.
