Shame, it had potential to be a good site, I especially liked the challenges, it was however rather graphic heavy which made the site load really slowly, at east it did on my computer.

What's the best way to improve credit rating? I'm interested in getting a laptop and a bike on monthly payments but last time I tried it got rejected. At the moment all I pay is a phone bill every month.

Depends on your income really, if your only earning say 500 quid a month it'll be hard to get credit for over 1k

Just try get finance for things you want that don't cost so much is the only thing i can suggest, never had a problem with finance in the past myself.

Get a credit card, use it for small monthly purchases you'd make anyway. e.g petrol and pay it off timely and promptly at the end of the month. IIRC phone bill doesn't positively effect credit rating only negatively if you don't pay.

If you're 18 and have an account with a bank go in and have a chat with an advisor at your bank and see what they say. Nothing to lose, just be sensible with it.
