You need to copy and overwrite the faces and the new config file from the update pack into the faces folder.

It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I get that I just need to download the 6.0 Update because my Megapack 5 folder is all up to date. But does the config file delete all the ID's of the players that are no longer in Football Manager 2014? I'm carrying on playing FM13 for a bit before getting 14 you see and I don't want a load of faces missing.
For example. Sir Alex Ferguson's picture will still be in my folder but will his cut out show in game?

It will not include anyone who doesn't have a cut-out in the 6.0 folder. Mons doesn't usually remove existing cut-outs in case SI re-add them to the game so (& I haven't checked) it's likely Sir Alex is included in the 6.0 config file.

What's happening when you use Rapidshare then?
As SSP indicated, and as can be see from the opening post, the image count is exactly that. The icons pack contains a number of images which were duplicated, wrongly-assigned or otherwise mistaken; remnants from previous update packs as the icons pack is compiled automatically and retains any such mistakes. As the config does not pick them up, they will not affect your game.
Have you managed to sort this out? If not, please upload a screenshot of your MP folder, showing clearly the folder path, amount of images included and the size of the config file.
Using torrents is really simple. There's a small guide in the opening post, but it's really just a case of downloading the torrent client and then double-cliking the torrent download link. The torrent client will do all the work for you and you can leave it downloading the megapack in the background, resuming if/when you switch off your system.
If you still want to download the file in parts, the option is available from the download link in the main forum.
There's a readme included in the file, as well as in the opening post of this thread. This should suffice. If not, tell us what's confusing you so we can help you solve it.
First of all, we intend to have a look at the default images released with the game and include any which are new or better than the MP versions. Given SI's cutters' skills, very few will make it, sadly.
As posted by a moderator to a similar query on the official forums, No as the game is designed to show user added files ahead of the default graphics. (you can do it manually by either deleting the config entries for the files in the megapack, or by extracting the default graphics and copying them into the megapack folders - but you'd need to match the names and put in correct folders).

I have one small error.
if I fe watch the player profile of ruffier (picking from the saint etienne player selection page) i have his picture.
if i take ruffier from the french national team i have no face picture.
i thought we had same problem last year.
I play only with kits and facepack. i also don't have the real name fixed file yet. meyby it has something to do with that? thx for your response!

Could you give me a link to the page the FM14 cut-out facepack is available in parts? Like for FM13 there were around 20 parts that you downloaded and extracted into graphics. I'm assuming this has been done for FM14. It's just I can't find it

When I click download it sends me to a mirror for downloading from torrent, or when I scroll down on the facepack page there is an update pack, which sends me to this page http://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/download/changes/57 .Is this what I want if I want to do it in parts? Anyway that's all I can find, so if it isn't where can I locate the parts?
