It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Where did you download the megapack from?

I've just successfully finished downloading all 15 packs for 6.01, and I've managed to extract Parts 1-7 in the last 10 hours. However, the config/xml file has NOT been extracted, and as a result of this, I've gone about opening the remaining 8 packs via WinZip, and I can not see the config file in any of them.

i am experiencing problems in enabling player faces to load up on file. In the game I highlight a players name but a dark shadow still remains instead of the face. I have made a graphics folder and in that folder i have made a faces folder in which all the player faces are in along with a config file. I have also followed the steps in which you go to preferences and load data in game and still i am getting no player faces next to the name. Can some one please point me in the right direction and highlight what im doing wrong?

I'm afraid I'm using Windows Vista so I can't really help here. How slow are we talking, though?
Can you post the exact folder location you placed the megapack folder in? How many images in all do you have in there? Are they all in one folder and one folder only? Are the preferences as indicated in the opening post of this thread?
You probably lucked out and had an interrupted download. You'll have to download the file again and, fingers crossed, your connection will be stable throughout.

Like "7 hrs for 150MB" slow. It appears to happen only when I delete/overwrite the files from the main folder (Megapack 6.0).

It's not the case when I copy or move my Megapack folder on Windows Vista. It takes me a good hour or more, mind you, but given the amount of files and total size, that's to be expected. I might be talking out of my arse here, but perhaps the relatively small amount of space left on your HD might affect the speed of your data transfer.

I haven't explained myself well, sorry, I had no problem in moving the folder itself, just in moving the files from that folder, like when I need to replace/delete the single images. I have 20GB left so I don't think it's a matter of HD space (and besides, it only happens with that folder). Now, the only thing I could think of is I haven't indexed those files because I felt it was a waste of time.
Thanks for replying anyway, I know having Windows won't let you help. Let's just hope some Mac user reads this. ^^

Seems like one of the icons packs you downloaded did either not fully extract or did not fully download?
How many images were in each respective download? You might have to re-download one or more of the packs...

Filippo, we are working behind the scenes to upload to another site and we hope to have it available as soon as possible. Mediafire unfortunately isn't an option as the upload speeds are very slow

i have 3,554 PNG images along with a config file in the folder
i have put all the pics in a folder and named it faces and put that folder in the graphics folder. Do I extract them from the folder named faces and just put all the pics in graphics folder along with the config file?
