It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

What program are you using to extract the images? I recommend Winrar - try the instructions in this link to perhaps repair the files.

What image(s) are you looking for, for the webpage to crash? And what exactly do you mean by crashing? Does your browser crash, does your PC shutdown?

I downloaded the face packs but it hasn't worked. I followed the instructions and nothing has changed... I had to create a graphics file... Do you simply do that by going 'add new folder' and renaming it graphics? Think that is where I've gone wrong. Cheers

Didn't work in game (did the whole reload skin shibang) tried cutting the faces folder from the sortitoutsi folder but it says I need permission to cut n paste and or delete the entire folder, which I don't understand. I need permission... from myself?
If that wasn't confusing or annoying enough, when I tried changing the sortitoutsi's folder name to faces, it says the folder is open in another program... it does this when the folder is the ONLY thing open....
Oh technology... You just love giving me migraines

I had that same problem this morning as well: the download terminated after around 1.6GB. Have deleted and am trying it again.
Edit: Tried again and it terminated after 950MB. The site appears to be rather slow, which is what may be causing this, I'm getting timeouts on several pages.

OK, I did all the packs
I now have 137,805 (not 137,799) Images in my faces folder
I have put the 5 readme / config files I found at the same level (i.e. NOT in the faces folder, but alongside it)
Is this right?
Which 6 images should I delete? I notice a couple look like adverts (i.e. they are banners, not individual players)

Please retain the config file in the place in which it should be extracted (i.e. INSIDE the megapack folder). It's there for a reason...
You just need to change the preferences as indicated in the opening post, and you should be ready to go
