Ameobi has scored in more countries than most of the teams in England.

To think that was 2003.

That makes me feel old.

Great article here explaining why improving the training centre is a bad thing. And how Ashley and Kinnear are being evil.

Now lets hope Newcastle can 'paper over some cracks' and beat Swansea tonight,

I'm sick of the awful argument about not wanting Europe as it means we'll be shit in the league.

With a bit of investment in the squad doing well in both is possible.

It's OK, accidents happen, its not like they call themselves the 'intelligent tabloid' and post articles on how silly other people are when they make mistakes.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/joe-kinnear-radio-interview-line-by-line-1960189 (At least two mistakes in that article as well)

In other news, Joe Kinnear officially pointless

Must have been a repeat. I think EVERYONE knows he won manager of the year by now.

He won the LMA (proper) award once. But he claimed to win 3 times, counting his Mirror and SkySports manage of the year awards. The media mocked him for it, but he clearly think it's an honour to beat Wenger/Ferguson and whoever else was around at the time...

Anyway Newcastle are trying to get newspapers to pay for some media facilities. I have absolutely no idea why print media gets anything for free at football grounds anyway.

Is there anything you will criticise Newcastle for?

I've generally lost interest in the boardroom side of things at Newcastle until Mr Ashley leaves.

I retain my full support for Pardew and the team though - it's hard to get passionate about a man solely motivated by money though.

Shola is different though - he loves Ashley and Kinnear for some reason.

Not quite. He's the young KM, he's been around too long to be the 'new' KM.

I think Ashley on balance is one of the better owners of a club. He has made loads of mistakes. Most were prior to relegation. I have some criticisms of the club, mainly using SJP as a billboard and seemingly having his own company running the NUFC online site, (and no details of if NUFC are actually generating revenue or just Ashley) These are just extremely minor criticisms, compared to the 20 years or so of Sir John Hall and the Fat Controller. And Sir John Hall is a hero for some reason.

Kinnear is basically in my opinion a scapegoat, blamed by many for everything that goes wrong. I think Ashley just gave his mate a job. But yeah, ticket prices are apparently one of the best, the club were the first to do reciprocal prices for away fans, and the team is possibly at its strongest point ever. Go wave a bedsheet.

I just don't get why print media gets things for free which TV and radio have to pay for. I mean, I genuinely don't understand why, they get something for free to then sell.

Kinnear is also a joke, I wouldn't mind him if he wasn't so far up his own arse when in reality he's stuck in 1994.

I'm not critcising him for criticising Newcastle or saying they've been poor. Just the complete bollocks he spouts.

As in he claims that Kinnear pronouncing players names wrong is a bigger low point than two of our best players apparently trying to walk out the club, losing to Sunderland and finishing 16th. And he mentions the interview twice in a short article. Definitely not bitter.

Although I just read Mark Douglas's in the Journal, even worse. Claims that Newcastle have underachieved this season..... and seems to be implying worse than 12months ago.

Also put Kinnear in his villain of the year, for trying to 'settle personal scores' before proceeding to settle scores by indiscriminately criticising Kinnear.

Santon - Williamson - Yanga-Mbiwa - Haidara as a back four then?

That's what I'd run with, possibly Taylor instead of Williamson though.

Pardew will probably go

M'Biwa - Williamson - Taylor - Santon
