It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Have attached my folder structure - will this work?
I don't have a folder named megapack - just put them in the graphics one that I created

FYI, as long as the folder containing the images is inside the graphics folder, the actual name is irrelevant
Don't forget to change the in-game preferences as well.

I got problems with the pack, done everything like told, Sports Interactive - Football Manager 14 - graphics - faces (got 137.805 files in the folder )
then I clear the cache ingame and reload skin.
No changes, no images of the players. I installed the game just today, version 14.2

Not sure it was just me or there are more people facing the same problem. I'm trying to download the complete facepack, but it always ended in "server error". It happened few times that I downloaded until 3X% and it just displayed "server error" and stopped. I'm using firefox with download manager add-on, but the download can't be resumed, and made me have to start all over again and again, and of course, it never get completed...

Secondly, do you have a config file in the megapack folder?
Thirdly, it's not a case of clearing the cache only, but also unticking use caching and ticking always reload skin on confirm.

As explained here, the server has had some work done on it earlier this evening so you might noticed improvement speed, performance and connection...

How many images in all do you have in your megapack folder?

I have 141,191 pictures in the megapack folder. It basically doesn't show anyone, but it does show a selected few, mostly Everton players, Moyes and I don't know who else. I have cleared the cache and put everything as shown...
This is where it is all placed: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\graphics\faces\MEGAPACK 6.0
I don't understand why this doesn't work. It is really weird! Any ideas what I should do to ix it?
I have a config file as well which is what was my problem last year at one point.

How large is your config file? Do you have all the images in one folder and one folder only?
Can you confirm that the use caching in the preferences is unticked?
P.S. You've got around an extra 2k images, not sure where you got them from

The only thing ticked is the center one and that's Reload skin... Config is 9786KB and it is all in the same folder. I'll just download it again I guess
