Terrible match, that.

Poor team selection, self-inflicted mistakes for the goal and the red-card and probably the laziest performance of the season.

Thought Blackburn were pretty good mind.

The scheduling for this has been pretty odd.

Us and City both on TV and both have COC midweek but for some reason they have City the 12:45 TV slot even though they play on Wednesday and gave us the Sunday evening one when we play on Tuesday.

Bit weird.

On my way back from the blackburn game !! Amazing performance was really proud of our lads ran around all day and tbf we were the better team for some of the 2nd half !! Looking forward to go to the etihad on for the replay will be played on 15 th january Wednesday night! Also was a brilliant decision by bowyer to play gestede up front as he wss excellent won loads of headers and ran all game

Grimsby didn't deserve to lose like that. We were shocking (second half, at least - I was catching up with Sherlock in the first), Grimsby very spirited, and could have made it 3-1 when Smithies had to make a good save from a point-blank header.

However, the Grimsby goalkeeper was dire. Beaten on his side from a 30-yard free-kick and culpable for our second equaliser.

Gutted to lose but what a performance. Quality of Huddersfield showed but thought we defended superbly and played some cracking football ourselves. Good save from Smithies from Aswads header, could have been 3-1.

Wouldn't agree that our keeps was awful, made a number of good saves. Agree that he himself will feel he could have done better with the free kick, the second one moved in the air mind. He's actually a very highly rated keeper.

So proud of all of them, absolute shift and we should at least have a replay.

Makes you laugh doesn't it, Lambert calling the FA Cup a distraction the other day. Not to worry, now they can concentrate on their 12th place finish. May as well just go for it.

As for Rovers, really happy with the result and it sounded deserved which is just as pleasing. Couldn't be there unfortunately. We've set the bar now so we need to replicate performances like that week in week out in the Championship! Good to see Robbo back too after over a year out injured.

yep was very much deserved we do if we played like that we would win we must beat Doncaster at home next week! Especially as they lost 3-2 home to Stevenage!
