This, 100%. I can respect Liverpool as a team for the way they play football but their fans would become insufferable if they won the damn thing. Rodgers would be unbelievably smug as well.

I can deal with City winning it because they don't seem to have this massive chip on their shoulder and I actually like Pellegrini.

I hate more sets of fans than you lot combined. I hate places like Southampton and Charlton for really flimsy reasons. But to say fans of Liverpool will become insufferable is dumb. In what situation can you let their success affect you? Are you going to be spending 24 hours in a lift with a Liverpool fan and just simply won't be able to escape his comments? What kind of people do you hang out with who spend all their time reminding people that their team won the league?

In the grand scheme of things football is so insignificant, allowing some dickhead from a club I hate the pleasure of upsetting me with his reflected success, the only person who looks like a mug in that situation is me.

While his football has woefully underused their new attacking options and the fans have clearly wanted him out for several months, the lack of time and that hideous final 4 games (even more so if Fulham beat them next weekend) seems to have signed their relegation.
