I've got City winning it with a game to spare.

Someone will slip up along the way, and no one will go unbeaten like I've put, but anything other than a Liverpool win next Sunday and the title is going to City I think.

Stranger things have happened, i.e. Liverpool actually being amongst the title race this season.

True - I thought they'd blown any hope they had of a title with the twin defeats at the Etihad and Stamford Bridge after Christmas.

I don't know if they're gonna win it or not but a win next weekend will mean they're the title favourites, like it or lump it.

Here's the record that has seen Hughton sacked:

Chris Hughton's last fourteen games: 13 points
(7 losses, 4 draws, 3 wins. 10 goals for, 20 against)

Here's the record that will see Pardew get a bonus:

Alan Pardew's last fourteen games: 13 points
(9 defeats, 1 draw, 4 wins. 9 goals for, 27 against)

I'm in no way a supporter of the Hughton sacking, just wish we'd open our eyes a bit and see everything isn't rosy because we're sitting in 9th.

Hull City: Fans narrowly back Tigers name change in ballot

Hull City season card holders have narrowly voted in favour of owner Assem Allam's plan to change the Premier League club's name to Hull Tigers.
The Football Association will decide on the proposals when its council meets on Wednesday, though its membership committee has already made a recommendation to reject the plans.
Allam, 74, said he will walk away from the club if the name change is blocked.
A total of 2,565 of those eligible voted for the change, to 2,517 against.
Those in favour voted "Yes to Hull Tigers with the Allam family continuing to lead the club".
Of the club's 15,033 season card holders, 5,874 responded, with 792 voting they were "not too concerned and will continue to support the club either way".
In December, the club formally applied to the FA to change its name to Hull Tigers from next season.
Hull fans' group City Till We Die has opposed the changes, with support from the Football Supporters' Federation.
The team's "Tigers" nickname is thought to have been coined by a Hull Daily Mail reporter in 1905, in reference to the club's black and amber kit.

I'm more worried with the away game to Palace rather than the home games v City and Chelsea. If its anywhere we'll drop points its to Palace. Sounds so stupid I know. I wouldn't be pissed if we didn't win the title, I still think City will but we can still hope and dream. Just can't wait for CL to be back at Anfield next season!!

Even among the ones that did vote, the "Yes" vote won

Despite the annoyance of Spurs jumping ahead of us in the table, Sunderland are close to going down.

Their fans can enjoy doing the Poznan down in the Championship.

It looks like Burnley are pretty much promoted. 11 points clear of Derby with 15 to play for. Would be good to also see Ipswich win the play offs as they aren't far from where I live. Nice opportunity for an away game to go to. Plus I could sit back and watch the locals batter each other when they play Norwich (if they stayed up).
