It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

There was an external issue with the file hosting a week ago or so, but it seems back to normal now. Perhaps you could try to download it another time?
Re your edit, that would work. Depending on the date modified of the config file contained therein, you would then only need to download the update packs released subsequent to it
Can you post screenshots of the location of the icons folder and its contents?

Downloading the whole megapack whilst I tried this out. The restored megapack config was last modified in November. Don't know if that affects it in anyway. Tried it in-game and it didn't work. Even with a few update packs from 5.0 onwards and 6.0 onwards .
Megapack seems to be downloading smoothly. I'd usually get to about 1.7GB (if you use Chrome, 3 o'clock-ish on the download circle) before it stopped but now we're up to 2.4, although I am concerned about it switching between saying 1 or 2 hours left

It all works fine on my system, so here's two things which might help:
a) rename the iconfaces folder so that the main megapack folder is the first in alphabetical order. I rename it as zicons, for example
b) Replace your config file with this one from my computer.
Just realised, however, that in FM14 the icons aren't displayed in the drop-down menu within a player's profile but are only displayed in the search function and when you right-click on the individual players. I'm not in the game atm but I can upload a screenshot if it's not clear...

I am wondering if someone can help. I hope it's okay to ask here. I downloaded the Cut Out Faces Megapack 6.0 and was so impressed at the amazing work that went into it. I installed to my graphics folder and everything seems to be working great apart from a weird issue where players with international squad profiles show a blank image, e.g. Benzema, Lloris have their images on their profiles when you click from within Real Madrid and Tottenham pages respectively, but when you go to French squad and click them their page has a blank face.
Did I do something wrong?

Ive been trying to download the Complete 6.6 mega facepack all day with constant issues, but now it keeps stopping way below the full finished file, has anyone else had this issue or is there a way i can fix this?
UPDATE: Seems to be working fine using the update files instead of the complete pack.

I'm just wondering if there is an issue with Louis Van Gaal in the database.
He's part of the megapack download that i have but no matter what i do, the image wont show up in the game.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Originally I ran out of room on my C drive so I moved everything that would've been in my documents folder to my d drive. I changed it in game but still my graphics, logos, and everything else aren't working. I've also reinstalled the game and recreated graphics folders etc.

if you have the rar file use 7zip to open the archive file then find the config file then extract it to the relevant file.

Am trying to use your wonderful cutout megapack and the cutout icons megapack but seem to be hitting some problems with installation.
Would it be possible to get the most recently updated installation instructions as the only ones I've found are from 2012.

The installation instructions are the same because nothing's really changed since then.
Download the file, extract it and place it in the Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2014 > graphics folder. Make sure your preferences are set up in the same manner as the screenshot in the opening post.
And that's really it.
