Carroll.
It actually depends. The players you have obviously have some quality. It depends who comes in, whether they respect him or do what they did under Moyes. If someone like van Gaal comes in he could be good because he wouldn't take the shit from the players.

Conclusion: Mata is shite.

His charm offensive when we played him last season and the respected journalist Diego Torres writing that Mourinho cried when he didn't get the job.
In my eyes, and in a lot of people eyes, he clearly wanted the United job. And still does.
But, we'll probably go for Van Gaal.

If you seriously think that Mourinho cried when he didn't get the Man Utd job, you're fucking deluded.
Sam
Wow.
No disrespect, but a lot of Chelsea fans are the deluded ones. A lot of anger is displayed if Mourinho's love for Chelsea is questioned. He wanted the United job over Chelsea, get over it.
God.

I'm saying that if you honestly think that José Mourinho, one of the most celebrated and decorated managers of all time, sat down and cried because he didn't get the Manchester United job, then you're deluded.
Also, you don't know anything. Neither do I. So fuck off with your "lol get over it"
Sam
I do think that he was very upset and disappointed to not get a job he so clearly coveted.
Call me deluded if you like, but please, don't tell me to fuck off, thanks.

Anyway, The Guardian's latest:
Sir Alex Ferguson will help to choose the next Manchester United manager.

I'll raise you two .
Don't try and tell me what I apparently watch and don't watch. I've seen with my own eyes that Mata exposes the fullback with his defensive weakness. If he is lined up on the left and mainly plays inside, the issue still remains. His defensive weakness is also shown through the middle, the difference is that it's not as damaging because of the midfield cover behind him. Either way, it's a matter we're ever going to see eye-to-eye on. So I'm leaving it at that.
I am well aware of how good Mata is, I've never doubted his ability. He's an exquisite player, going forward. Oscar's dip in form has zero to do with Mata either, I guess that goes to show just how little you watch Chelsea...
His form has dipped because he's basically played every game for club and country which started back at the 2012 London Olympics, he featured in nearly all of the 69 games Chelsea played last season and then played the 2013 Confederations Cup as well. Throw in a pre-season and even more games, there's no wonder his form has taken such a huge decline. Not to mention he's still only 22. But hey, you would have known all this already, right?
Not that it really matters because it actually has zero to do with the topic on hand and will be left at that.

"Clearly coveted"
I think you'll find that any interest Mourinho had in coaching Man Utd was largely fictional creation of the press. I'm not too sure on how many press conferences you've seen, but he's expressed from his own mouth that Chelsea was it. That's not to say he didn't have a desire in the past, but that will have been long gone now.
Man Utd are going to need to take their time and make sure they get the right person and personality that the squad needs. Another Moyes situation and it could be very difficult times ahead.

This isn't funny in the slightest..

.....That's what you think cunt!!

Once again. I don't need I say it because you already have, Mata has not lined up on the left for Manchester United ever ergo he's never exposed the left full back ergo what you're saying is deeply flawed.
As for the Oscar stuff you've hopelessly misread what I meant so I'm not going to bother.

I just get fed up talking with verse about United because he clearly doesn't watch us.
Which is fair enough, I wouldn't wake up at 3 in the monrning to watch Man United play either, but I also wouldn't pretend like I did.

No mention of the players.
Moyes was terrible, but the players have been so poor this season and behaved terribly.

Mata offers the LB absolutely no cover by playing on the right.

Well of course.
I mean the media have been sticking up Moyes from day one, their not about to throw him under the bus now.
Moyes just didn't have the authority to command their respect, some have acted badly (Rio for example) some have acted better but no one really comes off well when a manager isn't respected by his player. Every club has had it really, whether it be Torres under Hodgson, the Chelsea players under AVB, or the Real Madrid mob under everyone.
It's hard to criticise Moyes for it too much, I don't think he's ever come across as particularly authoritative and the failure to recognise the importance of Ferguson's iron fist perhaps can not be overstated. That said, his bizarre approach to decision making can't have helped.
