This.

So enjoyable that match, the atmosphere was far better, players looked happy, just what we needed. I know people will say 'it was only Norwich' but we've suffered so much this season, it was so nice seeing the old United again.

Yeah. No ones saying it was amazing or really meaningful but it was much better and it was much better because Giggs succeeded where Moyes frequently failed.

He also managed a team that put 4 past Norwich, as has been mentioned on social media.

Didn't Moyes also win his first game with a great attacking performance?

Not really. I mean we won 4-1 against Swansea, but were on the back foot for large periods of the game and didn't really create much, our goals coming from largely pieces of individual brilliance from Welbeck and Van Persie.

It was a decent performance and a good result, but the scoreline probably flattered us a bit.

Wouldn't say Osman's thing was a dive, but he was going down before Lovren's tackle. No pen.

Didn't realise it till Savage said it, but the pen in Man Utd game surely had to be a red as well?

Apparently if the foul continues into the box, it's a pen. Think it might just have.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Flanagan, Skrtel, Sakho, Johnson, Gerrard, Allen, Lucas, Coutinho, Sterling, Suarez. Substitutes: Jones, Toure, Agger, Cissokho, Alberto, Aspas, Sturridge.

Unchanged starting 11.

Chelsea:
Schwarzer; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Kalas, Cole; Lampard (c), Mikel, Matic; Salah, Ba, Schurrle

No Cahill and Terry is promising.

Terry was out anyway I think. Throwing in a young'un for his Premier League debut against Liverpool is a bold move.

We have Ake and Baker on the bench too. Wonder if things gets too bad whether he will just bring them on

Maybe a hyperbole, but still, we've had David Moyes this season. You must understand our pain. (I know you had Mark Hughes, but y'know)

I hate Sunderland.

Aye, Terry was never going to play. Good to see Kalas starting, while he's young he does have 50+ games in the Eredivisie to his name already. Hopefully Ake and Baker get a run out as well at some point, particularly if we're down.

No real surprises otherwise with the line up, more or less what I was expecting. Besides maybe Dave getting a rest as well.

I understand you've had a bad season but to say you've suffered is pushing it

They are indeed, Lineker put it well on Twitter - "what a pig's ear they've made of things at Cardiff this season."

Sunderland on a roll though, think they've got another decent looking home game yet so they should stay up.

we've suffered so much this season,

Being forced to listen to this on Talksport. First time I have in a long time and Collymore and Matterface make me wanna slit my wrists, forgot how utter toilet they are.
