Wayne Rooney should be left out of England's World Cup team because he has had a poor season with Manchester United, according to former Chelsea midfielder Alan Hudson.
"I wouldn't pick him. I'm surprised everyone still calls him world class," the ex-England international says. "United have been awful this season and I put some of that down to Rooney."

Fucking hell What is he on

Although he obviously should go I probably agree he's not really world class anymore, and he's been fairly shit since Christmas.

He's not world class, and I don't really like him either. But he's still an important player for England.

De Gea did the double at the end of season awards, Players' Player of the Year and Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year. Definitely our best player this season, I'm so glad for him, he was obviously going to be world class and he's only going to get better.

Mata presented the award to him, bromance.

Apparently Woodward told him they wouldn't be renewing his contract in the dressing room after the Southampton game

Was expecting it obviously but if thats true its pretty damn harsh. He might have been a tad garbage recently but he has always been a fantastic servant to the club and was consistently brilliant for a long period of time.

He's definitely part of the problem at Man Utd though, rather than the solution.

Van Gaal's decision apparently, which makes it weider that we haven't actually announced him as manager.

Definitely. It seems obvious that he was one of the people in the dressing room wanting Moyes to go.

BBC Sport understands goalkeeping coach Chris Woods has left Manchester United.

I thought he was good? Didn't De Gea say he loved him or something

The question among the supporters, however, is whether Vidic would have remained at the club had he known the Moyes era would be cut short before the summer.

“It is not an easy question to answer,” Vidic says.

So that is a 'yes,’ then?

“It is not a yes,” Vidic replied. “I am trying to answer it properly. Sometimes you don’t make a decision instantly, especially one like this. You have to think about it. Is it the right thing to do? Sometimes there are many reasons.

“If I am going to do something, I ask myself why. If there are more than two reasons to do it, I think it is time to change. Sometimes these decisions you make are because of certain circumstances. You don’t make a decision like that all of a sudden. I know you would like me to say the exact thing but I cannot. The best way for me to say it is that sometimes you make decisions because of circumstances."

Could have had another season of him.

Park Ji-Sung has retired.

Will always have a soft spot for him after his time at Old Trafford.

He carried on a great job after Steele, need someone great in to replace him. If it's Edwin I'm happy!

Surely Van Gaal should be announced soon? Apparently Giggsy is meeting with him today.

Why would VDS be our goalkeeping coach? I don't think he has any experience or badges whatsoever.

It'll probably be Frans Hoek.

Yes, maybe not as an automatic starter but it basically solves any issue we'd have about potentially having to get a player in at centre back.

It's an interesting interview, he's respectful and pretty classy but it doesn't take a great deal of comprehension to realise what he's saying between the lines.

Don't imagine Ferdinand will have the same tact, his new book will by incendiary.
