Got offered a job by OGC Nice. I decided to accept it and hopefully we can do well in the upcoming season.
We currently sit outside the relegation zone, probably fall in it as we played 2 games more.

September 2016 - OGC Nice
Managed 2 games before the end of the month.
First match was against Racing Lens and we should have won it as we was all over them. Mendy scored a beauty strike from 20 yards.
First home game was Sud derby against OM, We totally hammered them. Cvitanich put us ahead on 13th minutes, Mendy doubled our lead in added minutes of half time which OM failed to clear our corner and Mendy slammed it home inside the box. Bosetti finished the game off as we went on counter attack and Cvitanich slipped him through and was one on one with keeper and booted it into top corner.
Up to 14th but could have been in middle table if we did beat Racing Lens.
Club finances
Going to sell some of our players as we are way over wages budget even I put the rest of the transfers money toward it and still doesn't cover it. The club finances doesn't look good even we had 2M in the bank when I took over.
Brought in Bernd Schneider, Tony Bennett, Pauleta and Pedro Kamata to scouting teams.
Schneider is scouting Dutch U's19 leagues
Pauleta is scouting Belgain U's19 leagues
Tony Bennett is scouting UK and Ireland
Pedro Kamata is scouting Central Africa.

Superb win over Bordeaux
We started well against FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, but we fell behind on 30th minutes after Bakambu. Maupay level the score 4 minutes later. Cvitanich got the winner on stroke of half time after Aliev, picked up their defender poor pass and passed it to Maupay, through passed it to Cvitanich and booted it home. We was guilty of missing chances in 2nd half.
Massively disappointed with loss, we was the better side and strikers wasn't doing their job. Their goal came from indirect free kick which they headed it in.
Decided to play my young striker, Anthony Maurin instead of Maupay and he got us the only goal to defeat Racing Lens. Could have been more but couldn't break down their defence.
Just couldn't stop Diego Costa and Falcao scoring against us. We put up a good fight but they was superior against us.

Draw with Toulouse was a fair result, disappointed to concede a goal before half time. Bosetti grabbed a point for us with his goal.
Disappointed with our 2-0 loss to Lyon. Abidal was at fault for both goals, failed to clear the ball and let Benzia grab his first goal. 2nd goal he misplaced his pass and Benzia bolted away to kill the game off.
We bounced back with a 2-0 win over with brace from Eysseric.
Pretty happy where we are in the table.
We're currently 2M in red /o\ So that could forced me to sell key players as we're losing money each month due to massive wage budget ( Over by 2K) Will look into the market for free agents.

Started the month with a win over FC Lorient, we actually scored 3, Gomis scored a own goal for them in 2nd half. Should have score more than 2.
Have no complaint with defeat against PSG.
We beat Clermont Foot thanks to Cvitanich's strike on 64th minutes.
We absolutely stuffed Nancy Lorraine despite winning 3-1. Aliev is playing at his best for us and took the lead on 28th minutes, we conceded 5 mins later with a long range shot from them. Cvitanich and Digard finished the game off in the end.
Disappointed to walk away with a draw. We had perfectly goal ruled out and 2 great chances in the end to snatch 3 points.

Transfers news
We will be saying au revoir to our captain, Didier Digard, as he will depart in January transfer window to Aston Villa for 6.5M, I decided to cash him in due to our awful finances which the club keep plunging deeper and deeper in red.( Currently 3M in red but projected to be 11.25M)
Also bonjour to Thomas Jansson Got him on free transfer, pleased to see he can play pretty much across the defence.
Currently in talks with Rickie Lambert as well.

Massively disappointed to see us crashed out against AC Ajaccio. We was winning til Bodmer got sent off on 81st minutes and we conceded 4 minutes later and ended up losing on penalties shoot out
We went behind against Stade Brestois 29 after a mistake from our team. Cvitanich took the game into his own hand by scoring 2 quick fire goals which saw us through to the next round.
We completely hammered Valenciennes fc and deserved 3 points.
We found it hard to get past ESTAC Toyes until Bosetti pounced on their defender mistake to head in the winning goal on 57th minutes.
Disappointing to lose, Mendy gave away a free kick and they ended up scoring from long range shot.
I'm gutted and happy with the team against PSG. We went down 2-0 with 2 long range shots which we could have prevented it. Clawed our way back in the last few minutes. PSG took control afterwards and they were lucky with their 3rd goal which was out of nowhere. After the match we was given 474K, but would have been amazing if we got to the final.
Transfers news
In:
Brought in Miranda on loan from Atlético Madrid to boost our defence.
Also agreed to sign Pablo Matos on free transfer. I know he looks poor but he will do just for now.
Out:
Bosetti will be joining Benfica on free transfer - we did our best to get him to stay but we had to pull out as his wage was top of our budget and wouldn't enable us to go above us due to our finances.

We got lucky to beat Lille, Amavi's strike put us ahead on 16th minutes,they was awarded a penalty on 24th minutes which our keeper saved Kalou's penalty. We went on counter attack on 49th minutes which Bosetti converted to give us 2 goal lead. They pulled one back on 55th minutes but we held on to see us get 3 points.
Massively disappointing with our 2-1 loss to Stade Rennais. We was beaten by Nelson Oliveira's double. We pulled one back but Pejčinović made a massive mistake which Oliveira took advantage to score the winner. We didn't deserve to lose as we was the better side.
We made it too hard for us against Racing Lens. We took the lead through Eysseric. We went behind in 2nd half as they scored both goals from corner. Cvitanich level the score 2 minutes afterwards. Bosetti got us the later winner with a minute to go.
MIRANDAAAAAA! Draw was a fair result but we had better chances than them, shame we couldn't convert them. We went behind on 81st minutes as Pejčinović didn't mark Chandler which left him huge space outside the box which he slammed home to put them up. We had a corner on 90+3 minutes which Miranda rose home to level the score for us.
5 points behind FC Lorient. Was 2 points behind them until they beat Lille away with a late minute winner /o\ I'm hopefully of catching them.

What an perfect month for us.
Long range shot from Lieng settled us 3 points against Bordeaux.
We went behind against Sochaux as we failed to clear the ball away which they passed it to their right back and crossed it to Bakambu, headed it in. Lieng scored a cracker for us to level the score. Cvitanich put us ahead on stroke of half time. Bosetti seized on their defender mistake to put us out of sight. Cvitanich got his second goal with well timed finish. They pulled one back with few minutes left from 90th minutes.
We welcome Stade Brestois at home. I gave my 2 youngsters their starting spot in midfielders. Bosetti put us ahead on 3 minutes with a strike outside the box. Bosetti turns to assist Puel goal, Bosetti was on the left hand side pitch, crossed it to Puel which he then ran toward the box beating 2 players and slammed home to give us the lead. They pounced on my youngster midfielder mistake to pull one back for them before half time. Second half was borefest and we saw it out to claim 3 points.
Amazing result for us. Some reason the media put us as favorite to win. Monaco couldn't break us down as they had 22 shots against us with 5 on target. Cvitanich gave us the shock lead as he seized on Aleksandar Dragovic's error to score for us. We had better chances in second half against them, pleased to see we keep them quiet.
We're 6 points behind Monaco! I can't see us catching them.
Transfers news
I have made another signing and I have brought in Adam Roberts on free transfer. Scout rated him very highly and He will be a decent back up for us and will probably take over Pejčinović in few years time.
